So I thought I would start a new thread as we reached 1k comments so can't post!!! @chloedancer897 @Luna1108 sorry will try tag others !
anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

I caved and did it negative of course 🤦‍♀️😒. That was the last one in the house thank god. Xx

@J90A oh that's good! I was lucky with my appointment as the secretary booked it when I was on the phone with her so it wouldn't be too late. Sorry you got a bfn what dpo are you? I'm 12dpo I did cave the other day 10dpo but it was evening and my wee was like water, was a blazing bfn of course as always! Xx

@Marvellouslymadmum that's good! I'm 9dpo and due af on Friday. Was an early test. I am gutted after spending all month telling myself I wasn't fussed. This is such a rollercoaster!! Xx

@J90A always a rollercoaster! I only keep the cheapie tests in the house then I can't drive myself crazy and broke! At least 9dpo is early. I'm due af on Wednesday/Thursday and I'm sure she will turn up bang on time as usual! Xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I got a box of cheapies last month and used the whole lot 😳 so was trying to do any this month had a clear blue in the cupboard though last one. Not buying anymore. The nurses have said I might get the option for injections after clomid have you heard of that? Xx

@J90A ahh I see! No I haven't heard of that unless they mean having some extra injections along side the clomid xx

@Marvellouslymadmum no it's injections only I think it's fsh injections after some Googling last night. Then scanned twice a week with a trigger shot when the follicles have grown. Xx

@J90A ahh ok, no I haven't heard if doing that. Well not nhs wise anyway I know some private clinics do it xx

@J90A I doubt it, my consultant just dismisses everything as age related and basically isn't interested. I was supposed to have a phone appointment on Monday because it's not working properly and she didn't ring so I called yesterday and was told someone would ring me and instead I've a letter today with an appointment for 28th March! That's another two months on top of which it will be my 43rd birthday, I'm so fed up with it all xx

@Marvellouslymadmum that's terrible. Can you ask for another doctor?! Xx

@J90A I very much doubt it, it has taken me a year from referral to get to this point I'll probably have to start again! Xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I would phone the clinic and say you were meant to get a phone call and didn't. And complain. The secretary's number should be on the appointment letter. Xx

@J90A it's not in a clinic just the gynaecology department of the hospital. I called and spoke to the secretary yesterday to say no one had rung me and that's why I got the appointment through for March, I'm going to ring again tomorrow though and ask if there's anything else they can do, I can't wait another 2 months! On top of all that af arrived today and she's in a mean mood I'm just so fed up with it all xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I'm so sorry the gynaecology dept. are dragging their feet. I wonder if they will look into alternatives to Clomid for you too?

@J90A in all your research did you find they offer the injections to women who don't get pregnant through Clomid or who don't ovulate?

I suspect the reason I'm not getting even a whiff of a second line, despite the Clomid and Metformin, is that my eggs are of the most rubbish quality - sigh!

Thanks so much @J90A @Kay00 did anyone have side effects? I took mine before bed so didn't really notice apart from waking up at 4am with cramps lol I'm also on metformin and the side effects there are horrendous 🤣😵

@xoJellyBean I've tried metformin so many times and I just can't stomach it. I'm starting my last round of clomid when af arrives and I want to try metformin again with it. I've had hot flushes with clomid and mood swings with anxiety. (I had mood and anxiety issues prior to starting but it made it worse). However once I realised it was the clomid and I'm not going crazy it made me feel better lol. it does only last whilst on the days your taking it. My partner said I was a nightmare last month 🤦‍♀️😂 I'm on 100mg Xxx

@Kay00 how you getting on?

How do you cope with the meformin side effects. I'm just waiting on af then starting my last round of clomid. Had a bit of spotting today so defo on it way. Xx
