So I thought I would start a new thread as we reached 1k comments so can't post!!! @chloedancer897 @Luna1108 sorry will try tag others !
anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

@Kay00 sorry I keep forgetting to reply to your question! I didn't find that out just about how the injections work. I've got my appt with the doctor on 22nd of feb I'll ask all these questions and let you know.

Do any of you ladies know if you can skip a month of clomid? My OH will be away next month so there's no point!

@J90A I phoned back and spoke to the proper secretary and she's booked me in a new phone appointment on 24th feb with the head consultant so at least that's a bit better! Xx

@xoJellyBean hi and welcome, I get hot flushes on clomid, and cycle two and now three severe twinges ones my ovaries! I also had severe delayed ovulation on the first cycle which was over 60 days long and cycle two almost 40 days. I would imagine you can skip a month but if mines anything to go by it does seem to be working a little better each month as the first one it didn't work at all and this third cycle I've got the ovary twinges on day 5 of the tablets which is earlier than last time

@xoJellyBean I think that would be ok. Only thing is if you don't ovulate on your own you would need to get the meds to bring on a bleed to start the following cycle. If you let your dr know I would imagine they would be ok with that as it's totally understandable if you can't try that month. Xx

I'm about to start clomid today I never know when to take it through the night or in the Morning. I've changed every time I think 🤦‍♀️😂

@J90A I took it at night the first cycle but second and third I've gone for the day, had no side effects this time apart from ovary twinges on the last day of taking the clomid!

@Marvellouslymadmum I went for night this time. I don't think I will again though I've not slept well. I've had horrendous side effects with anxiety especially today (took my last 2 last night) and hot flushes. waiting game now. Xx

@J90A I don't think mine are working at all this time! I'm cd13 and my Lh is still really low 😕 xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I had a very low opk last month at cd13 then cd14 was the darkest I've ever had. Was strange coz I didn't see any progression. Don't give up yet. Fingers crossed they up your dose next month. Have you tried anything else? I have been looking up problems other than ovulating as that was my issue but now I am and still not working. I have been looking at egg quality but I Don't know how it can fixed lol. Xx

Morning ladies.

I didn't get any side effects with Clomid, but then I've only had 50mg and 25mg doses. My side effects with Metformin have been pretty minimal too: I got sickness and some food aversions whenever I increased my dose, but that only lasted a week or so. I have been on 2000mg daily for the past few months and I feel 100% fine.

@Marvellouslymadmum My OPKs go from 0 to >100% in less than one day too... my LH peak is so fast that I used to miss it most months, so I don't bother any more. I just rely on CM and Temping.

I'm currently 13DPO, not tested yet. I very much doubt that I'm pregnant. I have plenty of symptoms, but I get them every month, so I'm not getting my hopes up and I'm not obsessing over it. My current LP is about 16/17 days long so if AF hasn't shown by Saturday, I'll test then.

@J90A funnily enough my temps have been going down every day then today wham really dark opk! Got to hope we haven't missed it and can dtd tonight! I've a feeling my problem is endo/adeno stopping it from happening but they won't even look at a lap yet! There's nothing you can do about egg quality unfortunately you just have to hope eventually you get a good one! Xx

@Kay00 I temp and use opk cm is too unreliable for me can never tell what's going on 😂

@Kay00 oh I'm struggling with metformin it's gets my stomach so bad I've been able to take them properly yet lol so just taking now and again I'm going to try a full week starting tomorrow. How you getting on?

@Marvellouslymadmum yay! That's such good news. Yeah I think I might have endo. Everything about egg quality is diet and supplements etc trying anything now 😂

So I'm thinking about trying fertility lubricant. Anyone else tried this? I'm not sure how effective it would be but every little helps 😂 xx

@J90A I found the Metfromin was worst when I ate anything oily/fatty, but once my body got used to the Metformin I could eat anything. But I have to admit... if I eat a REALLY fatty/oily meal, such as a dirty burger or take away curry, then I'm usually sick... although that seems to be a more recent development.

I have used fertility lubes lol... I found them helpful when I didn't produce a lot of CM, but I also (since starting Clomid) don't have that problem very often.

I'm CD4 on my last cycle (6th) of Clomid. I am just going to go with the prescribed 25mg for 5 x days 2-6. I have my follow up appointment with my fertility consultant tomorrow... eek. I hope we put some plans in place for my next steps. I'll update you tomorrow x

@Kay00 I've taken some of the slow release ones this week seems to be ok! Will keep an eye on what I am eating see what triggers it!
I've tried pre seed this month I originally thought it helped sperm along but then read it's just the same as normal lube but doesn't kill it lol. See what happens. I'm on CD 15 today had my positive opk yesterday and had pains and pressure since. I'm not sure if I ovulated yesterday or today. I have a scan tomorrow so will find out if I have. I have an egg on both of my ovaries this time. I'm ovulated 2 more than once before though! So not got much hope. Good luck for tomorrow!! Let us know how you get on. Mine is next Tuesday. I wanted to ask do you have ovulation pains? I get a pressure and pain which makes it hard to dtd! Xx

@J90A I've tried fertility lube, just tescos own and obvs hasn't worked for us but I know some people have used them and then got pregnant so who knows!

I had my phone all yesterday and they're putting me up to 100mg for the next three months 🎉 I'm just hoping this works, I'm trying really hard to lose some weight incase that's not helping too

@Marvellouslymadmum that's such good news!! 🎉.

I had my scan today one follicle has disappeared and the other is still there so only one released. My progesterone results weren't back yet should find out tomorrow although it might still be too early to tell.

@J90A let's hope that one's a good one! The doc said scanning to see what's going on may not be possible for me as it didn't work for me last time so who knows what monitoring I'll have!

@Marvellouslymadmum tbh the monitoring brings I a lot of stress with it your maybe before off without lol I'm sick of appointments and blood tests 😂 one thing I've learned in this journey is that you can give the body medication to help on its way but in the end it does what it wants lol. Xx

@J90A that's very true! I've had all the blood tests just only one scan on cycle one where they couldn't see anything, he said they'll carry on with the blood tests. I have one for this cycle today xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I had mine yesterday but prob bloods stills aren't back yet. But my temp was up today so I think I've ovulated. I'm so fed up this constant thinking about it. I wish I could just forget for a few weeks 😂 xx

@J90A I've definitely ovulated this month and for once the day 21 shouldn't be too far out! I ovulated cd16 I think which actually makes me 6dpo today and it's cd22 so 🤞🏻 I'll get a decent result xx

@Marvellouslymadmum I got my bloods back they were 27.5 progesterone and need 20 to confirm ovulation. So that's good now the dreaded wait!! I have a clinic appt on Tuesday and I'll be 8/9dpo. I want to ask if they can do a hcg blood test at the time but I don't know if they will! Xx
