anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

@Luna1108 how ya feeling? So starting Clomid tomorrow? I ovulated I think yesterday so now the wait… got my HSG test next month so go from there

@Luna1108 haha I know! To be fair it's because I tested with a cheapo it was neg and even though was before af was due a just feel liek surely it would have shown! Don't really have any cramps either which is strange as I usually do if preg or af coming so I'm confused lol
But to go buy a frer it's a way out for me to go and I'm so busy lately! I didn't do ovulation tests so I could be out with ovulation Mayve was later x

@lastbany I get my FRERs from amazon! Next day prime delivery haha 😂 I’m so impatient.

@Shelleybe yeah starting my clo tomorrow and just got to hope. Two months left and then it’ll be time to take the big step which is scary for sure.

I’ve had a hycosy which is similar to an HSG, wasn’t too bad but I wouldn’t rush to have another lol

So sorry @lastbany. I am in the same boat… CD39 and test is negative . Now I just want my period so I can do another round (this was my second) and I get on with it!

I think I will also contact a private clinic to look at options - I am currently under NHS, but I don’t think they will do much beyond 3 or 6 rounds of Clomid. sigh

Had a meltdown about all this just now, but picked myself back up a bit…

I just made a thread about clomid or weight loss. Basically I was given clomid by a gynae who told me he’d prefer I lost weight because he thinks it will make me concieve naturally. Like he said I did concieve naturally but it ended in miscarriage. I’m struggling to lose weight now and unsure whether to just take clomid. My BMI is 29 so still high. 😞 any advice?

@adarkhorse this was literally me! Started taking my clomid tonight after waiting for my period to start for what felt like lifetime lol.

@Elakiya what have you tried? I had success with an app called Noom

@Luna1108 i’ve seen so many ads for noom but never tried it. To be honest the first 15kg was just exercise and just eating less but not avoiding anything really. It helped because we were in the office so not constantly rummaging the fridge. Currently because I need big changes now I’m doing IF 18:6 and 45-60 min run. What do you think. I want to really lose another 5kg before I take clomid. What do you think? Also what is noom how does it work?

@Elakiya Noom is an app that you use as a calorie counter type thing. If you have a smart watch you can connect that and it balances the calories out for you. Put in your goal weight and it works out how many calories you can have a day. It has like tasks to do and you have a coach that messages you and you can talk to.

I used it for 3 months and lost a stone. It’s pricey though!

Pads make me so sore and tampons just not great are they!!

@lastbany I have always wanted to try but just worry they won’t work and leak lol, no one needs that negativity in their lives!

I’ve recently switch to cotton pads/tampons and they’ve felt much much better. Brand called Yoni.

@Luna1108 If you haven’t tried menstrual cups I’d highly recommend. They are amazing! I started using them last year and they’ve definitely made my periods so much more manageable

My friend uses cups! I got a three pack from primark one pair is like for heavy day others for medium to heavy and they have been brill so far!!

@lastbany i really should use different sizes but I just use the one. It’s annoying because it fills up quickly on a heavy day but much much better than tampons found.

Also I found with tampons if I got the angle wrong it was really painful walking around 😅

I see it was your last cycle of clomid, do you know whats happening next. Did you have any side effects to clomid

@Elakiya first round I did! Eating everything so tired very moody etc second round a feel could have been a placebo 😂😂 no that's it it's my choice to just not do anymore! I have three children youngest been 18 months so I've no idea why I am struggling to conceive only that Mayve it's not ment to be!

I'm so confused with all the abbreviations! can anyone help me out haha

@Luna1108 I got my period a few days after stopping prog. I'm on day 4 of my 1st clomid round! I have had such bad night sweats!!

What are peoples thought on using ovu tests dueing clomid? do they work? I have pcos so they have never worked well for me!

I have found that taking Myo-insitol seems to work well I've been using myOva brand. I started getting a more regular period whilst on it last year (still not monthly but definitely more regular) stopped as I thought it might just be coincidence and I don't think it was as I never got a period for months and months. Back on them this month Defo recommend!!

@J90A I'm not taking it anymore! I'm approaching my "fertile time" so we will still be dtd but without any clomid etc so don't hold out hope :)

@J90A myOva was a little over my budget 😂. i found some other ones that I use but just saw that it only has 250mg of inositol so unsure if that does anything. 😅

I use ovulation tests. I use easy at home. They’ve always worked for me and when I was pregnant I calculated the exact same gestational age of the baby as the sonographer (but that did end in a miscarriage). But I do love OPK’s.
