Hi.. I'm starting my third round of ivf First didn't stick second did an ended with a miscarriage.. I'm about to have my third round so throught is start a thread if anyone would like to share there journey or is awaiting ivf. Etc. Let do it together. I was on a thread before an really helped.

I’m feeling fine Bit apprehensive as now I’m thinking is 10 eggs enough, but it’s done now can’t change it so fingers crossed. Xx

Any tips on sedation ladies? I'm so nervous! Amazing news at the numbers for those who have done it recently!

@MF1981 I’m fine hun I only found out yesterday that we are having Isci as there was never a problem before with my partners sperm but it had to be 32 motility I think and his was 30 or something.

Just had my call only 6 were mature and 4 have fertilised 😕. Having transfer on Saturday but won’t have any updates until then. x

@Roo45 try not to overthink it I had never been sedated before yesterday and was absolutely crapping it had a panic attack in there but as soon as the sedation went in I dont remember a thing! Good luck hun xx

I’m also panicking about egg collection now it’s getting so close! @Emmalouise11 don’t feel too disheartened hun - hopefully those 4 are good strong ones!

Hey @Emmalouise11 I agree with @MF1981.. We only need 1 embryo and all of your 4 could make it to Saturday. Is there any reason they're not doing a day 3 update? X

@MF1981 when is it? All I can say is keep at them to give you as many drugs as possible! It will probs be the case that you go to sleep and don't rmemeber like most on here... But in case you don't, best to ask up front. My experience wasn't a bad one btw... I just felt the needle. Its just a distant memory now xx

Hopefully @Rachae @MF1981 yes I asked and they said they don’t want to disturb them but i asked what happens then if none make it to day 5 and they said they call me saturday morning if none do but if they don’t call then just come in.

@Emmalouise11 that's exactly the same as I had last week, they left them from Tuesday to Saturday. I was so nervous I would get a phone call on Saturday morning saying none had made it but it was fine, I am sure yours will be as well! Are you with Care?

@dragonfly1978 hopefully. How many did make it to Saturday if you don’t mind me asking, no I’m with the nhs x

@Emmalouise11 only three of my 8 made it to day 5, two high quality which I had transferred and one poor one not good enough for freezing or transferring. I was disappointed as wanted at least one to freeze

@dragonfly1978 fingers crossed for the 2 you’ve had put in. I’m only allowed one to be transferred cause of my age so hopefully I get at least one good one.

A bit late to this chat but have been reading everyone's stories and wishing everyone the best of luck in their journey which ever stage you are at at the moment.

I am currently on day 5 of the down regulation drugs, on what is my first try at IVF (long protocol). I have recently turned 38 and i was diagnosed with and had removed moderate endometriosis last year. Following that i had an amh test done that came back as 5.5 (pmol). There is no history of fertility issues in my family or early menopause so they think the low amh is caused by the endo. I had a AFC in August and that showed 5 follicles in total. My partners sperm result was fine, normal but low end for sperm count, very good motility, though 2% morphology. I believe they are planning to only do ICSI if necessary on the day. Pleased to be connecting with you all on this journey. x

Welcome @winnie3838 and thanks @Roo45. The clinic just called to confirm everything for Thursday. Eeeekk! I asked about the sedation and she said most people sleep through the whole thing or if they are awake then they don’t remember it. Phew. I’ll check again when I’m there though! Trigger injection tonight at 7.30pm x

Hi all, lots of great news on here! Can't wait to properly catch up xx

I've got my first scan since I started stimming tomorrow. I'm feeling super nervous because of my low egg count. I'm hoping to have at least 6 (as that's what I had in my last cycle before I started IVF). I keep thinking what if my cycle with the 6 follicles was one of my best ones?

Tomorrow will either be a very good day or a sad one. Fingers crossed it's the former🤞🏽🤞🏽
