Hi.. I'm starting my third round of ivf First didn't stick second did an ended with a miscarriage.. I'm about to have my third round so throught is start a thread if anyone would like to share there journey or is awaiting ivf. Etc. Let do it together. I was on a thread before an really helped.

Hi guys how is everyone? I’m on my 5th day of meriofert and start injecting fyremedel aswell in the morning. Has anyone else took this? How did yous get on with it. Have a scan on Tuesday morning, I’m assuming this is to check if follicles have grown?

We have to self isolate from when injections start until collection - we had to sign to say we would.

Thanks @MF1981 that’s what they have said to me too but it’s not compulsory...well it wasn’t a few weeks ago at the nurse planning appointment. Might be different now we’re in lockdown.

That’s tough to have to add isolation to the mix but I guess it makes sense. All this hard work. You’d hate to see it spoiled.

Hello. I am four days ahead of you so just gone through what you will the week just gone.

I won't lie to you: the fyremadel stung like a #@$! It's still manageable, I promise! It's just that the liquid stings for about 15 minutes for me. The needle is also slightly thicker and needs more of a push.

Yes, all scans going forward are to monitor the progress of your follicles and that's alongside blood tests. They will change your dosages accordingly.

My first scan was on day 6 and the nurse was commenting everything is still too small and she didn't think there was any point on scanning that day. But in actuality, that scan and bloods led to my dosage being increased because things hadn't grown as expected!

AF finally announced her presence with some pretty severe cramps at 3am! So I need to call my clinic tomorrow to let them know and then start on the gonal-f tomorrow evening. Eeekk! Excited, nervous and scared all at once.

@EasterBunny7 hopefully at your next scan everything’s grown as it should do for you. How much longer are you injecting for now if you don’t mind me asking? Did you have to inject fyredamel in the morning? I have to do that in the morning and meriofert in the evening

@Emmalouise11 I had to do exactly the same as you and then the last two days had to do menopur morning and evening. I had ten days of that then trigger shot last night and egg collection tomorrow morning.

@dragonfly1978 ooo exciting hope all goes well for you tomorrow. Did you have to do both menopur with the fyremadel or did that stop?

Initially I was two days behind @dragonfly1978 but I may carry on stimming for the entire week ahead of me. It could possibly be longer depending on how things look then. Who knows, you may even lap me .

@EasterBunny7 hcg trigger shot was ok in itself but felt a bit rough last night and today, pelvic / ovary pain and nausea - trying to keep busy to pass the day away quickly! When is your next scan?

Thanks guys! I know - who’d have thought I’d be glad to see AF make an appearance?! I’ll ring the clinic tomorrow morning to get the final green light and then we’ll be off. Feeling really nervous about the injections though.
