Hi.. I'm starting my third round of ivf First didn't stick second did an ended with a miscarriage.. I'm about to have my third round so throught is start a thread if anyone would like to share there journey or is awaiting ivf. Etc. Let do it together. I was on a thread before an really helped.

I'm lucky that my job is safe for now and I'm with the Life Centre Fertility in Newcastle. Is anyone else? I've been so worried as to if they're going to class fertility programmes as medical to stay open or not

Hi ladies, looks like im out for this month. My husbands routine COVID test came back positive 😕 I'm negative.
Policy is we have to wait 4 weeks have a test then start again.

Bit bummed we won't be sorted for Xmas but also relieved it didn't happen mid cycle. Good luck everyone x

Do you start your second set of injections next week?

Glad to hear symptoms are minimal. I'm having some tenderness in the abdominal area this afternoon, not sure if that's a symptom of the injection or not.

Fingers crossed Boris Johnson's plan of containing the virus actually works and they do not have to resort to shooting down fertility clinics.

Really hope that all of us in this journey during November and December have our dreams come true.

New person here :) I should be starting my 1st round of IVF this week, so long as the clinic is open. I'm 41 & single so using a donor. I've not ttc naturally before so sounds silly but I've never really tested my fertility. I lost an ovary a couple of yrs back because of an ovarian cyst but scan showed 9 follicles on the remaining one and AMH was 9.7 which seems ok for my age? I've not received meds yet, am told there's a tablet which I'll take from day 19 for a couple of days before down-reg injections start. I don't have the drug schedule yet - anyone know what the tablet is? Can't find much info about it! Thanks

Hey @lucymills1234 good luck and maybe it’s progynova? That’s what I was taking before I start my injections. I started the tablets on day 21 for 8 days so could be them

@EasterBunny7 yes I start the second set tomorrow morning. Haven't really had any side effects at all so far so am now terrified they are not working! When do you start your second set? What dose of menopur are you on?

I’ve just done my injection. I feel miserable, not sure why. It’s not that sore (today was sorer than others) and compared to some of you I’m getting off lightly. I guess there’s just something about pushing a needle into your own skin that makes you feel weird.

Plus now I feel all fat and wondering whether I’m too fat for the medication to work. I don’t normally feel negative despite being overweight but I feel like a big horrible lump tonight.

I am sure the injections are working and you're just a lucky one . Perhaps your scans will reassure you?

I'm not on menopur but on gonal-f, and 150 to start with. I did my second injection today and it stung quite a bit. I even had a tender abdomen this afternoon... What's your dosage like? Is it with a pre-filled pen too?

I start the second set on Wednesday, so you're right, I am two days behind you. Feeling excited for us both!

@EasterBunny7 I have my first scan on Friday, nine days into the menopur so fingers crossed they see something! When is your first scan? Menopur isn't a pre filled syringe, it needs mixing first etc but my second injection of fyremadel is pre filled, just did the first one and was ok!

Morning everyone! I've spoke to my fertility clinic (NHS) and they are open as normal. Hopefully that's the same across the country and some reassurance xx

@all so I've phoned the clinic at 8 this morning they are staying open until otherwise told. Fingers crossed for us all.. thinking of you all you lovely ladies.. xxxx

I'm not worried that this isn't my period an just a carry on bleed for the procedure. Even tho I already had one from then which lasted a week then nothing for a week.. then it started again..

First scan is on Wednesday for me. Curious that yours is so much later into your cycle; I would've expected they want to monitor the effectiveness of the dosages more frequently?

Credit to you for mixing your medication yourself , I was dreading having to do that. I wonder how they decide whether you go on menopur or gonal-f?

Terrible news about your husband, hope he is ok. I can imagine your frustration with the timing of it all. Just not something you needed on top of everything else.
