@pattaz2711 I think i would want to know as soon as i could so would do the scan with this clinic and the later scan because it would be good to have a second opinion in these circumstances. But i would want to convince DH to be on board with the Thursday one x

@pattaz2711 They are doing my scan Thursday and we are at exactly the same stage, so I reckon there must be something to see by then. So maybe go for the Thursday, as it's sooner? Your HCG is good though!

@Everhopeful35 where are you how far along? What's you hcg atm

@pattaz2711 I think I'm five weeks four days, so will be five weeks six days on Thursday for the scan. I keep panicking about ectopic. I know it's rare, but just keep expecting something to go wrong on Thursday, probably because my HCG is a bit naturally lower than some people's and I had that blip where it didn't double in 48 hours last week. My HCG is now at 4,436, it was 2,598 on Sunday.

@elleceedee I hope I see a heartbeat! Sadly I've seen one before, right before I miscarried... god, I'm such a negative nelly tonight, sorry! I'm just very nervous. And my husband can't come into the scan with me because of Covid rules, which is making it extra scary!

@Everhopeful35 I've gotta pay again if I go I've got the clinics one again next week this what I'm worried about miscarriage that's what it keeps coming back the irregular sac..

Your levels seem good following the chart.. mine are really high an I've read about moral pregnancy which worries me aswell

@BabySweet85 still haven't.. I've pre booked for Thursday, but now I'm like right ok so what if something is wrong then I still have to wait until next Wednesday.. shall I just wait until then, but then that's still 8 days away.. but it is worth going.. I'm arguing with myself ffs

Right I need your help...

My period started on the
25th may
Transfer date was the 17th June

That makes me 6weeks 2 days?? Not 5 weeks 5weeks 5 days

I'm so confused lol

@Pattaz2711 you can't go from LMP for your due date with IVF as it's an artificial cycle - eg even with a FET you may be on medication longer to build up lining etc etc which totally throws dates out. You need to go from embryo transfer date and work it out from that, so if your transfer was 17th June then yes you are 5+5.

Hi ladies, quick update from me. I had quite bad cramps in the night and woke up this morning to some brown spotting. Was very worried and called the clinic, who moved my scan forward from tomorrow to today. I've just had it done and thankfully all is okay. There's no bleeding visible internally and they said that it is most likely implantation. I've also found out that it's a twin pregnancy, which I'm very surprised about given that my HCG isn't super high. One gestational sac is larger than the other, though, and they can only see a foetus in the larger sac at the moment (no heartbeat yet either). They said it isn't uncommon and it could be because it's still so early - the smaller one may catch up or it may not, only time will tell. So it's a bit of a waiting game. Emotions are all over the place, but I guess I'm just relieved that the bleeding isn't because of anything untoward.

@Everhopeful35 oh that’s great that the spotting is nothing to worry about! Really please for you. Twins! Fingers crossed that everything is okay and they can see more at the next scan - how are you feeling about the possibility of two?

Oh wow @Everhopeful35 twins! Was it you who had a day 3 and then a day 5 transferred or am I getting you muddled up with another poster? As maybe that could account for the difference in size? (Quite clearly not a medical professional so may be talking rubbish!) Fingers crossed all progressing well for you.

@BabySweet85 Thank you! My feelings are mixed. I've been trying not to bank my hopes in the pregnancy being healthy, given my history of miscarriage, and now I'm trying not to bank my hopes on two. It's really hard! I would love two, to be honest, but I just have this feeling the small one won't catch up. It worries me that you could see the foetal pole in the larger one but nothing in the little one. It did look quite a bit smaller. I have another scan booked for Friday, so they can check all is progressing okay. So we shall see...

@elleceedee Yup, it was me who had the day 3 and day 5 transfer. Hmm, maybe you're right. That might account for the size differences. Apparently if you lose one, it shouldn't harm the other one - it gets reabsorbed by the body. Weird!

@Everhopeful35 oh i didn’t realise you had two transfers! So it is unlikely it os one embryo split. Yes I agree, health is the most important x

@Evey43 this time after the transfer is the hardest! I caved and tested early 🙈 try not to do that if possible!

@Everhopeful35 wow you have had a rollercoaster of a morning. So exciting that you have twins onboard! Great they can scan you again on Friday, that’s so soon.
