IVF May/June Cycle Buddies

Couldn't see a thread for May/June - hoping that I'm not on my own for this cycle as its our 2nd cycle and feeling worried that I won't get to transfer.

Would be great to share the ups and downs with others, I'm starting buserelin next Wednesday (27th May).

@HT2101 they offer a blood test but i have to pay which i cannot until pay day but the lines are so faint its not worth it hardly pick up in photos so i will just let them know x

@MrsLouB I can see a very faint line on both FRER and clinic test. I'd call your clinic and see what they say.

@elleceedee - thank you, I know it's hard when other woman have a baby without all this hardwork but I've got a great SIL who had been through IVF (unsuccessfully) and she gave me a different perspective - she's an amazing lady!!

Ref progestrone, only ever had mine tested on a d21 or d3 test, cannot remember which day as it's so long ago! Couldn't even tell you my levels.

@effortissucces - I just kept having my active (full of poo) bowel pointed out to me!! I am very regular and I still dug out the laxatives for the day of transfer, they didn't work until 10 mins to transfer and then I went on the table worrying I'd do go again over the doc!

@mrsloub - good luck with calling the nurses, I'm sorry it's not so clear cut for you at the moment. Regarding the test, my clinic gives those out and it's a clear blue test without all the plastic. Big hugs ❤

Regarding donor eggs, I'm not there yet but I'm not sure I'd go down that route as this stage as there still isn't a guarantee of a child at the end of the process.
I don't believe that you would love a non geneticly related child any less than a biological kid. I know it's not the same and please don't think I'm comparing an animal to a child but I don't think I'd feel any differently about my DH and animals if I did share DNA with them, clearly illegal and weird if I did share DNA with DH! Love and caring comes from within yourself and not by sharing DNA. Actually love and care more about the animals as they need me to be around to care for them, the same cannot be said for DH. I mean he would live in filth and have rickets but can learn to care for himself!
I'm open to the idea of adoption but not at that stage at the moment.

What's everyone's plans for today? I'm going to clean the house from top to bottom so I can chill next week after EC.

Weirdly I'm not excited about Tuesday but already ready to be disappointed on Wednesday when I get told it's all over.

@all just catching up I've been in the hospital today. Went to use Lubion this morning, put the needle in me the liquid exploded out the side ab the needle snapped in me.. great start

@MrsLouB I can see a faint line good luck for Monday thinking of you..

@ivfgottostaypositive how are you feeling I took a test yesterday an I thought of sod it can up with the faintest line asked my neighbour if she could see it.. tried today an nothing..

I've just done my last cetrotide and gearing up for the trigger in 2 hours - turns out it's going to be three jabs to get the dosage right rather than one! I've been a bit mopy today, I'd been excited about this week but now feeling a bit disillusioned about the whole thing. I don't think the massive amounts of hormones are exactly helping things, hopefully I'll be a bit saner once my body calms down!

Oh no! Hope they managed to retrieve the needle! How many days post transfer were you yesterday/today? Hopefully you've just got a slow implanter in there! 🤞🤞 you see something in the next few days

I feel ok - feeling a bit light headed in the mornings and needing a sleep by about 2pm but I've not been sleeping very well lately so that could explain the tiredness! Other than that zero symptoms! But I didn't feel any different with my only full term pregnancy with DD and only had a couple of episodes of "evening" sickness about 14 weeks

Yeh we did it was more the hubby he panics lol.. oh I was only 3dp5dt.. i shouldn't of done it lol.. I got my neighbour to check lol.. then today nothing.

aww I'm so excited for you such brilliant news.. the weather doesn't help does it either.. hold old is you DD when do you have to go in next

@HJF84 the one on Wednesday with the nurses was fine but today god knows what happened so I've missed one I spoke to the emergency line an they said it's fine it's not important..
But ended up going in for the needle god knows what happened.. that's what I used the Frer.. yesteday came up with a faint line an today nothing but I'm early so who knows.. good luck my sweet

Last day of injections for me! Woohoo! Anyone else feel like they are on count down waiting for the clock to strike trigger time??
My ovaries have been giving me a weird pain, feels like a stabby butterfly in there!

Lots of factors can affect how dark the line is though like whether they were both taken at the same time or whether both were your first morning wee x

@Mrbay hoorah to last day of injections! When I was reading your post I started singing trigger time to the tube of hammer time by MC Hammer - I think it's official, I've well and truly lost the plot!

@HJF84 and @MrsLouB sending so much luck for tomorrow, hope you both see a bfp.

ET for me tomorrow! This will be my 6th ET and it's with a low quality embryo so trying not to get my hopes up too much but still quite excited!

@Pattaz2711 i used to test 2x a day as my afternoon tests were always darker for some reason! I would test in the morning and then panic because the line was lighter so would have to test again about 4pm just to reassure myself!
