IVF May/June Cycle Buddies

Hi

Couldn't see a thread for May/June - hoping that I'm not on my own for this cycle as its our 2nd cycle and feeling worried that I won't get to transfer.

Would be great to share the ups and downs with others, I'm starting buserelin next Wednesday (27th May).

@ivfgottostaypositive How interesting! Well that means I'll still be in the dark then.

@pattaz2711 No appt time, I just turn up. It's not at my clinic, it's somewhere else. They open at 7am so I was going to try and get there as early as poss, avoid the rush and then head home for the rest of the day.

Yes unfortunately IVF actually increases the risk of ectopics rather than decreasing it - I was a bit naive about that and only found that out afterwards!

Hi everyone so hcg results are in - 8dp5dt (13DPO) = 159

I'm a bit surprised it's not higher given that I got 2-3 weeks on clearblue this morning and usually urine tests can be up 50% lower than blood levels! I'm pretty sure it's not twins at that level but we ll see in 2 weeks! Happy it's over 100 at least! X

@HJF84 I'm on 2 x cyclogest pessaries, so could be increased progesterone but I definitely didn't have increased thirst last time round and was on the same meds post transfer. Not long to wait now 🤞🤞🤞

@Pattaz2711 see them as implantation pains not period pains...😉

I’m ok, quite a way behind you ladies as still doing my down reg injections and waiting for AF.

@Pattaz2711 Yes I have that. It's the progesterone. It prepares your uterus for the pregnancy, so it starts to stretch and get into shape - so similar to period pains! I've had it with every cycle - so it's not a pregnancy symptom for us IVF ladies!

@ivfgottobepositive That's great news! Yes probably not twins but it's a positive step for sure.

@HT2101 I down reg 2 years ago after doing my first an failing i couldn't do it again taken me this long..

A question lubion injections it says 3 days apart I took mine Wednesday the nurse said I have to take it Friday wouldn't that be 2 days or do the count Wednesday as a day

@Pattaz2711 no there is no point i know the outcome i will sat as otd but hey ho

I would say thay that is correct i take mine every day but patches every 2 days which i changed on tues and then thursday si if every 3 days i would say its on the 3rd day. Does that make sense?

I'm starting to Struggle lol.. an I'm only 3dp5dt fs.. lol I thought yep I'd be fine but nope here I go lol x

@Pattaz2711 I'm with you! Really struggling already (I'm also 3dp5dt). When is your OTD? Mine is Saturday 27th. I'm trying not to symptom spot, but it's hard. The problem is, I reckon everything can be put down to my medication and the bloating I still feel from EC. Cyclogest is also not making me feel so well

@Everhopeful35 they've told me not to test until the 1st July.. I had frozen 5day hatching.. how many did you have put back In?
