IVF May/June Cycle Buddies

Hi

Couldn't see a thread for May/June - hoping that I'm not on my own for this cycle as its our 2nd cycle and feeling worried that I won't get to transfer.

Would be great to share the ups and downs with others, I'm starting buserelin next Wednesday (27th May).

@MrsLouB I see it too! Give it until Friday or Saturday and then test again. Really hope it darkens for you, it may just be a late implanter!

@Eggling how did you scan go?

I've started taking cyclogest... One step closer to my transfer on Monday. My two remaining embryos are only 4BC graded so not the best buy hopefully still in with a shot. I'm only having one transferred though.

@HT2101 - the first 3 times I had buserelin, I hated it! mood swings all ways and very low mood - and oh my, the hunger!! This time, a few headaches but that's it!

@Pattaz2711 - congrats on being PUPO!!! its really good that it is already hatching.

@elleceedee - don't worry about grades, I've had 3 transfers of top grade embryos, only stuck around for 2 weeks and lots of people have children from so called low grades so don't get hung up about it. :)

@ivfgottostaypositive it was grade 1-2 ab I think she just said 1/2 5 days an it's starting to hatch that's all she said really lol..
Do you think that's good?

@elleceedee I've also heard not to worry too much about the grading.

My scan was ok, I'm dropping my bemfola dosage to 112.5 tonight and also starting cetrotide tonight. All my follicles have grown so largest is around 15mm now and there are a lot of them. Still worried about OHSS although I feel fine, the nurse was surprised I didn't have more symptoms but I just have a slightly heavy feeling in my ovaries. Back in on Friday and it's looking like egg collection will be early next week which seems scarily close now!

@elleceedee i didnt want and took another one this afternoon only becos i wanted to see if was a faint line or a indent in the tests so still there an faint not convinced no more till sat morning, had a good cry and what to eat all the food in the house so that good. Also re grading if it was good enough to freeze they are good thats the ruling xx ive seen lots of people get positive with lower graded than top graded i dont think the grades are all they are cracked up to be, of course it is excellent to have an A Grade but a B or C has just as much chance as sticking x

@Pattaz2711 yeah same as this morning xx yes hun you can get some cramping and spotting due to well basically someone sticking a tube in you and also could be your little embryo bedding in xxx

@MrsLouB they say try not to drink anything for a couple of hours an then wee don't they? Everything crossed for you..
can it start bedding already? It might just be that injection lol

@HT2101 - sorry to say but you might be!! Just get lots of chocolate in the house ready!! Are you having a fresh cycle?

@MrsLouB - I know its hard but but I could see a faint line but the HCG hasn't had enough time to multiple to show a change on the test - but a line is a good thing. What snacks did you treat yourself too?

@Pattaz2711 - I think cramps are a good sign!

@MrBay Yes fresh cycle... have switched from Syranel & Gonal F to Buserelin & Menopur so all change for this attempt. Also throwing in Clexane for good measure. Think I should buy shares in Green & Blacks 🤣

@Pattaz2711 yeah i hadnt had anything to drink for a few hours xx it can start to implant from day one most implant 1-2 days after transfer xx

@Mrbay yeah i know it was more to see if there was a faint line or if it was the test if that makes sense as i have read alot of people saying they see these shadow lines within the time frame on frer and is BFN .
i havent yet i did have a jacket for lunch which was yummy as i normally have salad, and now just deciding on what fat dnner to have x

Hi All, hope doing okay this evening. Oh I was very nervous today just thinking of the outcome for the 2nd follicle scan . But things seems to be happening okay; the leader 2 Follicles@17mm&16mm though the consultant said he is not happy with the shape of one of them but he will see on EC day . EC slot is Monday ...oh this is getting so real ladies and the pressure just rising day by day .

@Eggling - glad you had a good scan . We are likely to be EC buddies next week. Taking a beetroot daily to for lining trick. My clinic prefer 8mm at EC day.

@BabySweet85 am also on a fresh short protocol Gonal F & Menopur . Started Fyremadal on D6 for 6/7days . My trigger is Sunday 20th if all goes well , hoping the timing wld just be right .

Breakdowns are welcome here... I’m only 3 days into my Buserelin injections and cried when the Amazon delivery man didn’t turn up 🙈

@EffortIsSuccess20 yes it looks like we are doing the same. My first scan is 19th.

Hey all - so I phoned my clinic today to double check my injections as my treatment diary says to only take my ovulation suppressor for three days and stop before my first scan. It was wrong and I should keep going until they tell me to stop. A good job I checked! Now I am slightly apprehensive about there being more errors.

I am also doing acupuncture alongside.

@HT2101 as we speak I've just had one I can't have a bath a my shower it's shit lol.. the rain is heavier tha n the shower 😂🙈..

@HT2101 Making juice is a long process for me . I purchase the whole beet root from Tesco , wash, peel , slice and eat with a few black grapes for some sweetness.

@Pattaz2711 hope the cramping has eased off . Take rest + watch some comedies for a good laughter . For the 2ww we are all here for some little kind words to Lift you up ...just take it a day at a time lovely.

I'm feeling okay - no crazy symptoms, just the off twinge here and there. I'm 5dp3dt, so implantation could still be happening. I'm so used to 5dt - where I'd only be 3dp5dt!

I'm crazy thirsty though. I've been trying to google to see it it's the lubion or the inhixa, but it's not coming up as a side effect. Anyone else suffering with excessive thirst? I'm struggling to quench it and I'm peeing all the time 😂

@HJF84 I've got stomach pains apart from that I'm ok thank you..

When can you test? Have you done anything nice today? X
