IVF May/June Cycle Buddies

Hi

Couldn't see a thread for May/June - hoping that I'm not on my own for this cycle as its our 2nd cycle and feeling worried that I won't get to transfer.

Would be great to share the ups and downs with others, I'm starting buserelin next Wednesday (27th May).

@Pattaz2711 gone home wtf that's bad i would say something tomorrow is there not a dr you can speak to or say to the person on the phone that you dont have the information you need about tomorrow so someone needs to come back to you x

@MrsLouB they've all gone home I'm so pissed off I left a message last night an 2 today.. the receptionist has gone aswell.. there's an emergency number you can text but what's an emergency? Is this one?? I'm flipping fuming

Can i ask you ladies a question the wait is torture and im still in two minds should i test on friday its one day before and hubby is ok with that but then i think well what if its bfn do i test the next day to just becos the client told me to do it on the day arghhh i hate this i really do...i wish i could take a really long sleep and wake up friday

@Pattaz2711 i think its disgusting leaving all those messages and not coming back to you!!! Awful well i suppose it depends if you dont know what meds to take or what to do and you have left messages i would you are paying for this its not free x

I'll leave it until after 5 an then message saying I've left messages etc what am I supposed to do tomz.. they literally haven't told me anything apart from my transfer is at 12:30... we're anxious anyways without this aswell.. I left a message at 15.42 again today at 11
As I had no reception on my phone incase they had called.. an then again at 2:30pm I've contacted the main number and says working on reduced hours..
I'm gonna be stressing now.. I like to know what I've got to do.. I don't want to mess this up... omg I'm so annoyed xx

I would ring the emergency number @Pattaz2711 if they aren't ringing you back and transfer is tomorrow - pretty poor if they haven't given you any guidance. Try not to stress, it will be ok.

@MrsLouB I would test friay even Thursday lol.. but that's me.. i can't wait.. an then I'll prob test each day.. xxx

@elleceedee I even left a message with the receptionist earlier as they asked me to fill in forms.. so I've actually left 4 messages an nothing back.. I'm going to leave it until 5 an then message..
They haven't said anything apart from turn up..

@MrsLouB - I tested early on all 3 transfers, I just wanted to know! Plus I was checking my cervix location too!

@Pattaz2711 - call the emergency number as I think I started progesterone a few days prior to transfer but all clinic have different protocols. Perhaps try the IVF support group on Facebook, others from your clinic might be able to help. I have everything crossed that you get an answer ASAP!

I've jfound out aswell the definatly do not use ultra sound when doing a transfer

@Pattaz2711 it sounds like your clinic is treating you terribly! I'm so sorry you're left in the position of not knowing what to do.

@MrsLouB how many days pt will you be on Friday? I'd def be tempted I think!

so jealous of people's friendly dogs, mine is so antisocial! He's only 7 months so I'm hoping he will calm down and start to enjoy cuddles at some point 🤞
I am now panicking because my boobs hurt waaay less today than any other day aargh when does the stressing ever actually stop?!

@Pattaz2711 - mine doesn't use the ultra sound for transfer and they have a high rate of success so I wouldn't worry too much.

@takingthistooseriously - mine is a lab so it's in the breed to be cuddley, she's just been trying to steal my ice cream! She's is proper mum's girl!

Regarding the stressing, I don't think it does!

Sorry I've been quiet for a couple of days. I have been feeling a little blue and sorry for myself but starting to pick up the positive vibes!

@ivfgottostaypositive Congrats on your BFP! This has been a lucky thread so far. Have you thought about the possibility it would be twins?! It would be interesting to see how high your HCG levels are

@MrsLouB I'm in a similar predicament. I'd have to go to London for a blood test, which involves a train journey. If I test before and it's BFN, it will be a struggle to find the motivation to go up there.

Twins would be amazing and I'd be over the moon but I just can't see how we'd be so lucky to get both implant or not miscarry one/both given how many we have lost since I had DD and all the BFNs from transfers last year x

I said to myself I'd only book for a blood test at the clinic if I saw a BFP yesterday otherwise I would have stuck with testing at home. I went in 3x last year knowing that it hadn't been successful and it was awful. I didn't even know Create let you test at home until I told them I wouldn't come in this time.

When are you going to test do you think? X

Can I ask for some advice ladies? I'm now on my fourth day post EC and I'm still not feeling great. I have this weird pain in my right-hand side, like a bad stitch that goes from just under my rib cage right round to my back. It's slightly better today and I made it out for a short walk, but by the time I got back the pain was awful again. Is this normal?
