IVF May/June Cycle Buddies

Hi

Couldn't see a thread for May/June - hoping that I'm not on my own for this cycle as its our 2nd cycle and feeling worried that I won't get to transfer.

Would be great to share the ups and downs with others, I'm starting buserelin next Wednesday (27th May).

@Wesstywoo sorry the scan wasn’t as hoped. Hope the follicles start to balance out over the next few days and you can start stims.

Thanks guys, I'm feeling really sick so glad it's hormones rather than my own cooking really early days, I'm 9dp4dt but my OTD isn't until Friday, the clinic is mad if it thought I'd wait until 14 days after transfer! I'll probably test a lot between now and Friday!!

@wesstywoo A week or so ago, I thought I'd only end up with one, have faith. And if it is just the one, then it's the one your body chose to be the best.

Bad news from the clinic for me this morning. My day 3 embie they were culturing never advanced further than an embryo. Feeling very sorry for myself and it's put me into a bit of a negative spiral now. I've been so positive this cycle and I feel as if I've just lost all hope now. If that embie didn't make it, what's the hope for the one inside me now?

I'm sorry your second one didn't make it. What you've got to hold on to is that you've got the better of the two on board - the grade 1 so this ones got a better chance of making blastocyst?
My grade 2 were probably 50/50 whether they made it to day 5 xx

@HJF84 sorry to hear your news on your embryo but you have the stronger of the two inside you and they do better in there than they do outside have faith its where it needs to be to grow and attach xx its so hard i know your thought process tho bigs hugs xxx

I have done 3 stim injections now (10pm ones) - all have been fine. Although today i have been super tired - slept in until 11am when usually I get up at 7.30. Anyone else had this?

@HJF84 so sorry to hear the other embie didn’t make it to freeze. It’s only natural to feel uncertain after that. But you’ve still got a good chance for the one you have on board. Look after yourself today. xxx

@HJF84 sorry you’re having such a tough day, completely understandable. Particularly when you feel you’ve been so positive, but.... hang in there. You’ve still got one onboard. You’re def allowed a down day but try to do something nice for you and your fellow passenger. Tomorrow is another day and one day closer to hopefully getting a BFP. Will be keeping everything crossed for you xx

I've not posted for ages because I feel like nothings really moving at the moment, still down regulating and will be at least until my scan next Tuesday. Still not sleeping well and feeling really tired, although a bit better since my down reg bleed - It's like that balanced out my hormones a little.

@BabySweet85 sorry to hear you're feeling tired, I was hoping I might feel better once I start the stims... this is my first cycle so I don't have much of an idea what's normal though!

Thanks for your words of encouragement ladies. I totally lost myself in a wallow of self-pity this morning after the phone call. I think what got me was that it hadn't developed at all from day 3. I've had a day of looking after my 'passenger' - I love that phrase @ht2101 - I'm going to use that term for the time being! I'm so glad I have you wonderful ladies to go through this journey.

I'm back to work tomorrow, although I'm working from home. I wish I'd booked the day off as my passenger could still be implanting, as I'll be 4dp3dt, but I'm going to take it easy and try not to get too stressed - easier said than done!

I've been feeling some pulling and tightness today, probably just the hormones.

I'm really stressing about my scan tomorrow. I'm just hoping my lining is good enough to start progesterone and I can get an ET day booked in. What is everyone's clinics cut off measurements for lining? I think it's 8mm at my clinic but they've definitely let me go ahead with 7.5mm before (although that was a BFN).

Thanks @elleceedee i wish hubby has taken all tbe tests! Its killing me. Good luck with your scan are you FET or Fresh sorry i cannot remember. But my clinic my lining was an issue on a FET its over 7mm and on a fresh its 8mm and over although they will transfer lower as i found out on my fresh transfer. Xxx hoping its good news for you try some fertility yoga type into google. I think that along with the drugs of course helped increase mine. Ive taken lots of vits had my legs up the wall ?one of the best to promote blood flow to the uterus) and walking daily to increase this. Mine was thest the best its been at within a quicker timeframe xxxx

I'm not feeling anything at the moment apart from hayfever i think my throat is sore scratchy. I am also trying not to stress that this is our last hope etc etc.. anyway at least i have work to keep my mind if it xxx Have a good day ladies with all scans and updates xx

Morning ladies....so I've been testing since yesterday morning (I know I know very very naughty!) and couldn't sleep last night. I saw a line yesterday but didn't want to get hopes up as I've had faint positives on 4dp5dt that have disappeared the next morning before but line definitely still there this morning......early days and not getting hopes up. (And of course now I'm panicking that it's not dark enough/not progressing as much since yesterday! 🤣)

(I know this isn't the trigger as I tested that out already. For anyone curious i did x2 250 ovitrelle as the trigger so 5,000hcg and it was gone by Saturday morning which would have been 9.5 days after trigger)

Yesssss @ivfgottostaypositive those are great lines for this early and I'm definitely seeing progression there. Congratulations!

@MrsLouB when is your OTD? I can't believe your DH has taken all your tests! Thanks for the info about lining and legs up the wall - going to do that! I'm doing a FET.

around 2 days to see much difference i go by last time on mind..yay! Congratulations

@elleceedee i am 6dp5dt today and OTD is saturday ...i know he is being stubborn this time but i get it. He said he would let me test friday 1 day early lol. Try it you never know i have also tried to caster oil packs around 2 or 3 and largnate but is now part or my mutlivit and baby aspirin something worked xx hope you get some good news is this your day 12 scan? X
