Hi

Couldn't see a thread for May/June - hoping that I'm not on my own for this cycle as its our 2nd cycle and feeling worried that I won't get to transfer.

Would be great to share the ups and downs with others, I'm starting buserelin next Wednesday (27th May).

after feeling fine i have come over all sicky this afternoon with low down cramping lets hope it means its bedding in and not just my body from all the drugs

Camfan1 · 10/06/2020 17:59

Thanks all 😊 xx

HJF84 · 10/06/2020 18:06

@dbrook That's a good haul of eggs. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

@ivfgottobepositive Congrats on being PUPO! And that's fab to get a good quality blasto.

I'm booked in for ET tomorrow, both embryos are still in play so they'll pick the best one and that will get transferred. We're going to culture the other one to day 5 to see if it makes it, then freeze if it does.

MorgenMuffel · 10/06/2020 18:16

@Camfan1 welcome! I am only on 2 x cyclogest a day so can't help much, sorry.

@Dbrook great number of eggs, hope you get good news in the morning

@ivfgottostaypositive fantastic news that your day three thawed and became 5BA, and congrats on being PUPO. I am so jealous your clinic does a transfer song, what a great pick!

@HKF84 good luck for tomorrow

MrsLouB · 10/06/2020 19:19

@HKF84 good luck for ET tomorrow x

Mrbay · 10/06/2020 20:04

That's a great number @Dbrook - fingers crossed for a great update tomorrow.

Enjoy being PUPO @ivfgottostaypositive - fingers crossed 🤞

Good luck for tomorrow @HJF84

I've just spent the afternoon catching up with my very preggers best mate and her puppy! My pup is 1 year and is now shattered after a few hours of play time.

Good luck for tomorrow @HJF84 😘🤞🏻

elleceedee · 10/06/2020 21:49

@MorgenMuffel how are you feeling? I always find the wait until the viability scan the worst - definitely worse than the 2ww! The 23rd will be here before you know it!

@Wesstywoo has AF turned up yet?

@Mrbay looking forward to news of your sweet shop haul! Hoorah for starting stimms!

@HJF84 good luck for transfer tomorrow, I've got everything crossed for you.

@Dbrook brilliant news on your eggs, good luck for the next call.

@MrsLouB yay for being PUPO! Hope the sicky/crampy feelings have gone although I suppose they are good signs!

@ivfgottostaypositive so sorry that your 2 from this cycle didn't make it but 5BA and 3BB are great grades! Thanks for the tip about FRER on amazon Smile

@takingthistooseriously they've told me the job is mine if I want it which is great and I'm really pleased although feel a bit torn about possible maternity!

I'm just having a look through my old treatment notes and looking at lining thickness on previous cycles - my lining scan timing has varied from CD9 to CD12 and the lining thickness has been anywhere from 7.5mm to 9mm! I just hope this cycle works, it's so emotionally draining going through this again and again.

Lemongrass1 · 10/06/2020 21:58

@HJF84 good luck for tomorrow 🍀

@elleceedee congrats on the job offer!

MorgenMuffel · 11/06/2020 07:54

sorry my post last night should have said @HJF84. Good luck today!

@elleceedee congrats on the job offer. Really don't feel bad about taking it with potential maternity - you're a valuable employee and your company obviously realises that. Could you ask them to start a little later if you wanted a restful time after ET?

I'm OK thanks, as you say the waiting to the scan feels almost worse. I get the feeling that its going to be a series of long waits one after another! I've not been sleeping v well so v tired, and still very thirsty. Boobs sore and a bit of nauesa/heartburn which I am taking as a positive that I'm still getting symptoms - just hoping it's not all just down to the progesterone though.

Last of my 3 days in the office today, looking forward to wfh tomorrow! Its been a long week so will likely just do a short day and then its the weekend- yey!

ivfgottostaypositive · 11/06/2020 08:23

@HJF84

Good luck today! Will you get told what grade they are on day 3? X

Pattaz2711 · 11/06/2020 08:44

Hi ladies can I join please I'm going out of my mind

I'm new to all this.. I would like people's outcomes advice anything please.

me an my partner have 4 frozen 5/6 day embryo blastocyst..

I'm so scared of going through this again

First time we had a transfer was a fresh cycle which failed well was positive an then negative literally 3 days later. We was devestated
think it's was due to having 22 eggs on collection.. as I egg shared which was a lot of eggs

We had icsi ivf

It played a lot on our relationship. We're we split for a while..
We now trying again 2 years later

I was going to do a natural cycle but couldn't for some reason track my ovulation which was very stressful
so decided now to do a medicated cycle..
My lining last week was 4
My lining yesterday a week late was 6.4 so they said they will go a head next Wednesday with the transfer..

I'm take 4x Prignova
I'm starting presseries on Friday 2x a day.
They have now introduced injections aswell for progesterone ( have you seen how big they are??))

My emotions are everywhere I'm googling everything.

I'm so nervous an scared I feel it's all on me now.. as it's going into my body..

Sorry if I'm to late or irrelevant for this group, I just feel I need to chat

Thank you

Pattaz2711 · 11/06/2020 09:08

I'm not sure how to tag people in these either 🙈

I want to wish good luck for today ❤️

UncleBrynsfishingtrip · 11/06/2020 09:41

@Pattaz2711

Firstly just stop. Breathe. You are doing sooooo well.

It is happening inside your body.
However at this point you have done everything you can.
Take the pressure off yourself.
Do something nice today.
Choose one thing to do (see photo) and let us know which one you’ve tried.

I’m going through exactly the same so I know how hard it can be to switch off. Take care lovely Flowersxx

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip love this xxx

UncleBrynsfishingtrip · 11/06/2020 10:16

Let’s all try one thing relaxing thing today... mine is going to be call a friend xx

Mrbay · 11/06/2020 10:30

@Pattaz2711 - welcome :) like @Unclebrynsfishingtrip and @MrsLouB have said - just breath and be nice to yourself, you'll doing fab! You've done an amazing thing sharing your eggs so be proud of that too.

Regarding the lubion needles, you have one to suck it up from the vial and then you have a 2nd needle to inject which is a similar size to the buserelin. The big ones aren't for injecting, well not for humans anyway - I've used that size for injecting my horse!

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip - that's a lovely idea - today I am going to spend £10 on pick an d mix and eat them until I am sick!

This morning I managed to not screw the needle on correct to the bemfola so had some drip down my stomach, cue a little panic and then sucking up the little left overs from the pens I had already used, I may have over dosed a little today!

elleceedee · 11/06/2020 10:36

@Pattaz2711 hello and welcome. You've been given some good advice already by @MrsLouB and @UncleBrynsfishingtrip about relaxing - please give yourself a break, it's a stressful journey but post on here whenever you feel like it or just need a chat.

Also, you've got 4 embryos to try which is great, do you know what grading they are? I had a BFN on my fresh cycle and my doctor said some women just respond better to FETs anyway! My DD was from the same batch of eggs as my BFN and two miscarriages - there's no rhyme or reason to IVF sometimes we've just got to have faith! I hope this is a successful cycle for you!

UncleBrynsfishingtrip · 11/06/2020 10:36

@Mrbay

Oooohhhh good idea about pick n mix!!! Foam bananas are my fav!
Last night we have pizza and cheesy garlic bread.
I was getting fed up with eggs, spinach and healthyness. Treats are needed especially during these times! I spent all day in the garden. I demolished a greenhouse! It felt good!

@Pattaz2711
If you want to add/tag a name you just write @ and then write their name. It saves all names on thread so usually a few pop up.
Hope you are ok 👍🏻 💗

elleceedee · 11/06/2020 10:38

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip I love this! I'm going to have a long bath with my book tonight when DD is in bed!

Wesstywoo · 11/06/2020 10:44

@Pattaz2711 sorry to hear you are feeling like this xx I find taking each day at a time helps. Have you got the progesterone you inject into muscle? I had those before (injected into buttock Blush) and the needles are huge! I found alternating sides each day and massaging the area helped. Good luck with your cycle.

Good luck today! @HJF84

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip great idea, I think I will listen to some music while doing the period dance! (still waiting, finished the pill 3 days ago)

takingthistooseriously · 11/06/2020 10:45

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip i love that grapic! today I am going to do some gentle stretches and wish that I had @Mrbay's sweets instead! All I have in the house is sodding natural bars of boringness, no foam bananas at all Sad

@elleceedee congrats on the job! please don't worry too much about mat leave, you'll get a good few months in of being awesome at it before you go on leave and then the job will be there waiting for you

@Pattaz2711 I'm sorry you're struggling but you've come to the right place. 4 embryos is a really great position to be in.
