Hi ,

I've taken my second tablet on my first cycle and wondering if anyone is due to start there's soon or are around the same time as me?

I know there's already a clomid thread but I think I'd get pretty lost as I'm new to this so was hoping for people to keep each other occupied as we wait in anticipation!
Xx

@Lauren87E oh wow so exciting, will this be your first transfer? When are you expecting to have them transferred? Everything crossed for you!
I'm the same tbh, I've officially been referred for IVF now but been told there's a 12 month waiting list in my area so that will be this time next year I'd imagine. I did the 6 months of clomid to no effect so going it alone for the next 6 months
The house is really lovely thank you, no "new house new baby yet though" so obvs fuming about that 😂 how's your renovations coming along? Xxx

It's my first cycle. It's booked for Tuesday. I'm trying my best to stay positive. My sister was successful with her IVF and is now waiting for her 3 month scan on the 22nd.
Have you thought of maybe looking for a clinic that is just outside your area? I know someone who has done that to avoid the long wait. I am with CARE so have a look and if you can find one of their clinics. I'm glad the house move and settling in has gone so well. I bet you've enjoyed moving all your new things in!
Have they suggested letrozole to you?

@Lauren87E I didn't know your sister was doing IVF too, what a coincidence that you're both at a very similar stage at the same time, must be so nice to have the support of someone who has been in the same position very recently.
How have you found the treatment so far?
I haven't had anything suggested to me except to wait for either something to happen in the next year or for it to be our turn 🤷🏼‍♀️ basically the consultant said I'd responded very well to the clomid (except from the obvious lack of BFP) so they had no idea why it hadn't worked
Do you know how that would work funding wise? I assume if I found somewhere outside my area I'd need to pay?
Really so lovely to hear from you, actually made me a bit emotional 🥲 xxx

Thank you so much. I've just had a nice relaxing bath and would you believe there are workmen outside making the most awful noise! Dave is fuming! He said to me 'how are you supposed to be relaxed with the racket!?'
Bless him! We will listen to some relaxation music on the way there and get a McDonald's afterwards. Il message you later when I'm home. Lovely to speak to you again xxx

@Lauren87E bloody workmen obvs didn't get the memo!
Sending all the zen 😘 xx

Etonmess20 · 20/12/2020 11:01

@Lauren87E how are you getting on? Xx

Lauren87E · 20/12/2020 11:05

@Etonmess20
Hello, I'm doing okay. Just stuck in the TWW. I can't figure out whether my symptoms are pregnancy or progesterone at the moment as I am on progesterone pessaries. To be honest I don't feel any significant difference. We will see! How are you? X

Etonmess20 · 20/12/2020 15:35

@Lauren87E can only imagine that the wait is even worse than usual 😬 easier said than done to try & not symptom spot
I'm not too bad thanks, tier 4 & Christmas is cancelled but such is life 🤷🏼‍♀️ xx
