Clomid cycle1

Hi ,

I've taken my second tablet on my first cycle and wondering if anyone is due to start there's soon or are around the same time as me?

I know there's already a clomid thread but I think I'd get pretty lost as I'm new to this so was hoping for people to keep each other occupied as we wait in anticipation!

Morning @Lauren87E how many dpo are you today?
I can definitely see something though I've never used those tests myself before so don't have any experience of them. I have seen plenty of people say they don't always provide the darkest BFP line though

@Lauren87E i think I see a hint of a line in your second picture. Am I right in saying you are now 1 day late? Fingers are firmly crossed for a nice fat pink line on frer for you

@lauren87e I've always struggled with line eyes but there might be a slight shadow...? How many DPO are you?

I think it's actually better without it tweaked (I didn't see that pic originally). My line came up better with the flash on, can you try taking another photo? Once I got a slight line on the cheapy tests I did the FRER and it came up with a good line, can you go get one of those? :)

Thank you everyone. I ovulated late this month and ran out of tests but going by my symptoms on flo I think it was the 2nd of June which would make me 11DPO
I'm really worried it's an evaporation line. I guess I will have to just be patient and get an FRER and see what happens. This is so awful, I feel so unsure. We've been trying for so many years x

@Lauren87E 11dpo is super early! I got my BFP at 12dpo (it showed negative at 11dpo but that was with afternoon urine). Do a FRER when you can as that will give you a definite answer. Keeping everything crossed for you :)

@Lauren87E I agree with @ktl1a, 11dpo is early yet for a bfp, hopefully in a few days you will get a more definite line. I’d say a frer is your best option. I know what you mean about TTC being awful, it really can be such an exhausting process both physically and mentally.

I think I might wait until Tuesday to use the FRER. I have a UTI so I'm drinking more than normal today so won't get a good enough sample. I'm going to try my best to relax but it's so difficult to put it out of your mind. I'm annoyed I ran out of OPKs and I've had to guess my actual ovulation day. How is everyone else doing?

@Lauren87E I think that is a very good idea, you’ll hopefully know for sure by Tuesday.

If it makes you feel any better I didn’t run out of opks and am still not 100% sure on ovulation day. I use the clear blue fertility monitor which of course ran out of sticks on 11dpo. The only sticks I could find in the chemist were the advanced opk ones which I completely messed up using and by the time I figured out the correct way (clearly didn’t bother with reading the instructions 😂) I would say ovulation was most definitely over 🙈.

Bought a frer in town today and am going to test in the morning as will be 12dpo, very tender boobs but apparently this can be common when on clomid

Excuse my language but holy crap I’ve just gotten a very faint line on a frer!!!! Took it because have been nauseated all day with ridiculously sore breasts. It’s too faint to get a decent picture of it, my husband has confirmed the presence of the second line, really thought I was hallucinating. Will update in the morning with a fmu test, really hoping this is the real deal

Can't wait to find out more from you tomorrow, fingers crossed you get a stronger line with FMU, upload a pic if you can get one :) Keeping everything crossed for you! What cycle of clomid are you on? And was it prescribed due to ovulation issues or for unexplained? So interesting to see everyone's BFP stories :)

@ktl1a I’ve tried tweaking the pic a bit, with flash and without, can’t really see it but will upload one anyways.

This is 1st clomid cycle for me. Gp prescribed it for unexplained infertility

I think I can see a faint line in the right place when I zoom in. Soooo excited for you! I was on first cycle for unexplained too! You would be less than a week behind me if you get your positive in the morning :)

This month is looking good for this thread! Bring on your morning test and more BFP's from all of the other ladies!

It’s very faint in real life and darker on the top part of the line, am taking it as a good sign that dh can see it as he’s not one for the squinting. It was taken in the evening with a very dilute sample also. Will update in the morning 🤞🤞🤞

Hi ladies has clomid made your cycles longer i am late now been trying for 3 years so I have tested bfn. I am 12 dpo I have short cycles plus my partner has really low man stuff. I am normally bang on 26 day cycle xx

@Hoping1 this is my first clomid cycle so not sure. I took clomid over 10 years ago to conceive my 10year old girls but can’t remember any of the symptoms.

AF has arrived this morning, more painful than normal which I assume is due to the HyCoSy I had a couple of weeks ago!
Starting my clomid (cycle 2) tomorrow & emailing the hospital later to see if they can fit me in for monitoring this month

How are we all?

Hi @ktl1a so no glaring bfp for me this morning, another bit of a squintiest line. Am thinking either a dodgy batch of tests or I need to wait a few more days and retest. I’m on night shift tonight so going to aim to retest on Wednesday morning.

@Etonmess20 Hello! Still no AF and I think I ovulated late this month. I think CD23 or maybe even 25. Fatigue is bad and dizziness and I have a tender left breast? Felt a bit sick this morning and beside one faint line on one test the others have been negative. Not feeling positive at all. I just want AF to come so I can start my new meds. The TWW is painful.
Looks like I'm in the same position as @Wackadoodle84

@Lauren87E it’s so frustrating isn’t it. DH going to pick me up a digital test to use during the week, I’m no good for having to squint at lines. At least we can be cycle buddies next month and we will be a bit better prepared for the clomid side effects

@Etonmess20 sorry AF arrived. Hopefully this will be your month. Looks like there will be a few of us starting our second clomid cycle so

@Lauren87E how long are your cycles normally?

Hospital can't fit me in for monitoring this month unfortunately, because they've only just restarted the service it's limited still. I'm not too fussed how I know everything is fine with my tubes as I'm pretty sure I ovulate every month anyway!

@Etonmess20 Hi 👋 my cycles became regular when taking clomid and they were averaging 28-30 days. But I've had a break from the clomid and waiting to start my new medication so my last cycle was 37 days and now I am on cycle day 35. I feel a bit crampy this afternoon so I think AF is on her way. I'm still on antibiotics and drinking lots for a UTI so it's pointless doing any tests until it's cleared as my urine is more diluted than normal. Sorry TMI 🤪

@Lauren87E oh it's rubbish you can't test really with your UTI. Hopefully you'll feeling better soon!
It's the not knowing that does you head in isn't it?!
