Ivf March/April?

Hello,
Is anyone starting Ivf in March/April?
It would be nice to have some buddies.

I'm going for pre bloods and scans mid March, and expect to have egg retrieval around.

It's my first round, have been ttc for over a year and a half - unexplained infertility 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hi ladies i hope you don't mind me joining/posting. I have been lurking on this post for a the last week and tried to make an account with mumsnet for the last few days but it wouldn't allow me (but that's a whole different story 🤣)

Background: Been with hubby for 14 years trying on and off for a round 8 years due to different life circumstances. ? If i have an element of PCOS but still not confirmed and hub has borderline low sperm.

2 failed IUIs with nhs and i refused the last one (absolute shit show)

So now I am with nurture a private clinic not attached to a nhs hospital. First round doing ICSI. I am doing trigger tonight ready for egg collection on monday however been told that i have to freeze any embryos that make it. I feel so close and god knows when i will be able to have a FET realistically i don't think it will be anytime soon. Really understand how upsetting this is for everyone. Covid-19 really putting lifes on hold. Also is the advise to freeze all just that... advise and not a must as it seems some people at my stage are still going ahead?

@41trying i feel we are at similar stages 😊 what clinic are you with if you don't mind me asking.

It's such a hard time at the moment. I have a scan Monday which I should be ready for trigger Monday Evening. I am at Care Birmingham. They haven't said about freeze all but, you just never know really over the coming week.

I have looked at care as they have one here at Nottingham and said they are still going ahead so i am trying to get all my points ready for when i see them on monday to try and push for a transfer next week. We've just come so far and i really don't want to put my body through this again if i can help it. Hats of to you all on your many goes at IVF it really does take its toll both physically, mentally and emotionally. Xx

@41trying did you watch the care videos from the live q&a yesterday? Unless anything changes you should be having the transfer, unless you preset to freeze. Everyone starting treatment before March 30th can have a transfer if they want, unless advice changes of course. I've got my baseline for FET on Monday and they said I can go ahead if I want to (for now).

@seven201, it's so hard for some that have been cancelled half way through or have been waiting for so long then have it taken away for how long we just dont know.
I have a consultant that came from care Nottingham

@41trying I know. I can't imagine how they must feel. I keep thinking mine will be cancelled just before transfer day. Sodding infertility

Morning all, clinic is doing all fresh transfers up until 30th.
Scan all went well, EC is on Wednesday.
Hope everyone is staying safe and get the news they want

I have EC weds too.
My clinic said they are actually still doing some fresh transfers - if for some reason the embryos are not good enough for freezing etc. But case by case. So we will see.

Day 8 over here and had second scan today, follicles have grown but lots of new little ones so had bloods done, Egg collection poss Friday I’m aware I’m lucky to have my ivf cycle still going ahead but also on baited breath because it could be stopped at any given time it’s fairly scary.

@Xx40yearsyoungxx thanks for asking. I had my baseline for a FET today and stated my oestrogen tablets today too. She said at the moment my transfer after should go ahead (will be early-mid April ish) as I started treatment before 30th. What's the latest for you?

I should be starting stims tomorrow but even if I do they are not transferring and state that they can’t be certain that they won’t close/ cease cycles before egg collection

Oh no @bunhead34, how come it's been moved

It was go into be either weds or Friday, but the dr thinks a little more cooking is needed - I really wanted it to be weds!
