First thread is filling up fast so I thought I'd get a new one ready so we can keep on supporting each other through this crazy journey! Will post a link in old thread 😊xx

Thank you @Chooklass and @Pinkstars2501 that is very reassuring. I think we could have waited until Thursday to give them one extra day to grow, however I was so excited to see there was no fluid that I didn't even care about the numbers anymore :) Not sure 13mm-s can grow enough until Wednesday to actually be mature, but we'll see.

@stace999 yours are a lot bigger than mine, sounds like you will definitely have plenty of matures in there! :) My AMH is not low and we have roughly the same follicles so your body is responding well. Are you on long or short protocol?

@justkeeprunning5 I feel exactly the same about FET, weeks and weeks of just trying to chalk the days off before a scan for news, then another week!! Soooooo hard

@Lily999 @Stace999 I am also good to go for EC Wednesday! Woohoo, finally!! I think the same, I have quite a few that are 20/22 so it's worth going now rather than risk lose them in case the others don't catch up in tome! Have to be on the unit for 7.30.....thought I might at least get a bit of a lie in!!

How exciting! We are all set for Wednesday then. I have to be at the clinic for 8:30, but going to theatre only at 12:30 so it will be a long waiting the nurse said. I don't really mind as my follicles can grow a bit longer haha! After your numbers mines seem too small.
It means trigger is tonight at 00:30 so I will have to set my alarm (not in my twenties anymore haha) to get up and inject.
No eating so I will struggle for sure as I have a big breakfast every day, but so it goes, I will be strong. It's just one day.

It's good to hear someone else with a 30mm! The nurse recording the follicle sizes was really surprised at the size!

I also have 'kissing ovaries' they have grown so much they are touching.

It is going to be a freeze all cycle. Feeling a bit deflated because it just feels like a big delay. Trying to stay positive though as I need to do whatever will give me the best shot.

Have got my prescription for the trigger shot (husband picked them up) but there is also other tablets in there. Does anyone have any idea what these are? And when I start taking them??!

@Sabz36 9 still doing well at day 3 is brilliant! Fingers crossed they keep it up!!

Yes Wednesday is a busy day! Sorry @huffleclaw , I don't know what they are, unless they are your progresterone? I have pessaries to use but you might have tablets instead? Phone up and see if anyone's there to help?

@rainbow178 having had a quick google I think they are to help stop OHSS. Which would make sense.

On the phone earlier they said that the delay in the blood test results was because they re-ran it because the levels were so high. (Not really sure what levels!) it was a hurried conversation because I had to leave a meeting to have it.

@Lily999 short protocol. I have done 2 x ICSI before 4 years ago on long protocol and they kept having to increase the dose as I wasn't responding, been on the same dose this time all the way through. Its a different clinic and they seem to know what they are doing.
@huffleclaw I have 2 that are massive then there's a few 18-20 and the rest are 9-13 so don't think they'll catch up. I am a bit uncomfortable now don't know how people with loads of follicles feel..! Or I'm just a wimp!
In at 8.30 wed we live 1hr 30 from the clinic so it'll be an early start. Trigger at 9.45 tonight. I hate the trigger shot no idea why got a fear I'll mess it up!

@Stace999 I am now VERY uncomfortable!!

I also look about 6 months pregnant! So many follicles!!!

Trigger shot is at 12.15 so a nap on the sofa first I think! And then have to be at the clinic at 10.

@Stace999 I feel uncomfortable and like my ovaries are the size of tennis balls!!

Trigger shot done!! Wasn't that bad, but I too was petrified of getting it wrong! Was fine though in the end. Good luck all! 👍👍

Cabergoline is given to prevent OHSS @huffleclaw. I also had "kissing ovaries" and a freeze all as my lining was looking too mature. Has the clinic decided to do a freeze all because of suspected OHSS?
Can't help but be a bit disappointed. Do you have any information on how long it is before you can have a ET? I've heard conflicting advise.

@Dia12 yes because of suspected OHSS.

It's hard because I didn't go to my usual clinic today and then had to wait all day for a phone call with the results of my blood test and to tell me the prescription would be in the pharmacy. So don't feel like I have actually had a chance to ask any questions.

Back at my normal clinic for egg collection on Wednesday so hoping that all will become clear!!

Well done @rainbow178. Think I'm going to try and have a nap for a couple of hours before I do mine. This one feels more serious than the other ones!! I'm worried I won't draw up the right amount to inject!!

Are we done trigger shot!? Any symptoms? I have a few period pain like twinges.....or is it all in my head!? I'm celebrating my first day with no injections since 29th December!

As someone said FET prep is boring! Looking forward to my scan on day 12 to liven things up

Had my EC yesterday. Everything went well be it took me ages to recover, I was pretty much passing out on the way home, felt awful :(
The procedure went well though, they retrieved 6 eggs, now waiting for the call.

Ladies, well done you all who did the trigger shot, who is now going through 2 ww and waiting for the transfer.

By the way, somebody mentioned here that there is a thread for 2ww - could you please share the link?

Well done on surviving your EC! I nearly passed out during recovery too - my blood pressure kept crashing. Have you got a few days off? Take it easy xx

@Minster2012 It just feels like forever, guess it isn’t in the grand scheme of things. I feel like I should be productive & doing more to try and make it work (I know there is nothing more I can do but you know what I mean!)

Have you had any side effects from the FET drugs?

Good morning! Trigger shot was done at 00:30, had to set my alarm as I could not stay awake, DH went down to the kitchen to grab it then I made him sit on the floor until I was done because I was worried he would move in the bed and I wanted to make sure I didn't mess it up :)
It all went well, although since the morning I feel like cr*p boobs are sore, I can't really eat, hope it will go away.
Have acupuncture tonight to prepare me for tomorrow, the day of all the days! :)

Obviously as we always need to find something to worry about now I think they should have let me stim for an extra day and worried I could have more mature eggs for Thursday. The biggest one I have is 22mm that could still grow as others have way bigger ones then the smaller contestants could have an extra day as well. I have 7 that are between 11 and 13mm, that is a significant number to just let it go... Nothing can be done at this point, I am just a bit annoyed, but so it goes.

@Lily999 22mm is plenty two days before EC! Remember at least one of the other ladies with 30mm follicles is having a freeze all due to OHSS. Well done on triggering at such an antisocial hour!! X

How are you getting on with the 2WW? I think today was a test day for a few of the others in the 2WW, maybe @BambiOnIce80, @rover*@Rovera12, @41trying and @MissHoney85*? Hope they are doing well getting so close to the big revelation!
Can't believe tomorrow is EC already, today feels like I am missing something as there are no injections anymore.

Really hope the 12-13mm ones can catch up and become mature, keeping my fingers crossed!

Ok so far @Lily999 ! Bloating and pain pretty much gone but I'm tired easily. Keep having to remind myself what an ordeal this is for my body and that it's ok to take it easy for a bit. I was fast asleep by 9pm last night! I'm only 3dp3dt so got a while to wait until OTD yet.

I found the day before EC really surreal - kept checking I definitely didn't need to do any injections!
