First thread is filling up fast so I thought I'd get a new one ready so we can keep on supporting each other through this crazy journey! Will post a link in old thread 😊xx

HI @Lily999 Thanks for checking in ;-) It's so nice to have this group to chat with and support. We haven't really told anyone and even if we had they wouldn't understand the process or what we're going through.

They should call today at some point (I think by noon) fingers crossed it's all good news and we can go in tomorrow or Thursday at the latest for transfer.

Is it normal for your tummy to still be tender a few days after egg collection? It's definitely getting better but still sore to the touch even :-( I can't wait to feel 'normal' again!

I have my fingers crossed for you all xx

Parkandride · 11/02/2020 10:09

Totally normal @lilybelle123, not sure if you're doing fresh or frozen but I wasn't quite right until after I got my period, it's such a tough process, hang in there x

Lily999 · 11/02/2020 10:17

@Parkandride that' excellent news! Welcome to the 2WW! Comedies are very beneficial, allegedly it helps implantation, but even if that's just an urban legend it does put you in a good mood so definitely a winner. You can from today go back to doing everything apart from heavy lifting and extremes, but basically this period is really as it says on the box... I could have tested this morning and was tempted but then just chickened out as I am not ready.
I absolutely loved the video of the embie, isn't it magical to watch the cells divide, that was without a doubt, my favourite part.
Keeping my fingers crossed for that call @Lilybelle123 I remember it is so difficult to wait for those updates. But you have plenty of embryos, they will be fine. Got some bad news though, you will not feel "normal" for another two weeks as the progesterone supplements really do a number on us and that number is.... you know. They make you bloated and basically just PMSy, sorry. It will be worth it at the end!

lilybelle123 · 11/02/2020 15:13

@Parkandride & @Lily999 Got the call - all 6 are still doing well :-) Transferring tomorrow afternoon! So excited - The next two weeks are going to be the longest of my life omg

We're doing a fresh transfer with two embryos.

I was wondering what was the culprit for my tummy pains, I still feel like it's tonnes of meds! But it's worth it :-)

Looking forward to joining the TWW!!!! Yayyyyyy

Parkandride · 11/02/2020 15:36

Yay great numbers! You'll be able to get some in the freezer too which is always reassuring, tomorrow will be so exciting Grin

Minster2012 · 11/02/2020 15:43

That’s great @lilybelle123 congrats on the two great embryos!! ❤️All systems go for tomorrow xx

rainbow178 · 11/02/2020 20:11

@lilybelle123 that's great you've got 2 embryos!
I was in a LOT of discomfort and pain starting the progesterone for at least 5 days- cramping, wind, bloated and pains! It wore off a bit though when my body got used to it. Good luck for tomorrow!!
I LOVED seeing the photo of our embryo- I felt really emotional and thought well if nothing comes of it, at least we made an embryo together for a short time. Now just need to make sure I don't accidentally show it to someone on my photo roll!!

Minster2012 · 11/02/2020 22:32

@rainbow178 I was too with the progesterone, still am tbh, total head f**k now as during TWW it’s prob that but obs I’d love to think it’s more 🧐

Lily999 · 12/02/2020 09:18

Good luck for today @liltbelle123 let us know how it went! Are they now 5days old? Can I ask what is the reason of the double transfer? We were not allowed to transfer more than 1 on day 5 they said it only applies for day 3.
I think the tenderness in your belly could be due to the increased number of eggs retrieved? Mine wasn't tender, but I only had 10eggs.
@Minster2012 I kept reminding myself that anything I experience is due to the progesterone as it's so easy to convince myself it's the embryo. However, by now I have no symptoms same as @rainbow178 so I am preparing myself for the FET in my head hoping then it won't hit me that hard when that one stupid line looks back at me in a couple of days...

lilybelle123 · 12/02/2020 17:24

And they’re in! Thanks for all the well wishes xx @Lily999 yup two 5 day AA graded embryos are officially on board!!!- and 4 hopefully to freeze I think- we have two they’re waiting on for day 6 before they freeze.

I’m not sure why two was no problem (maybe age?)... we were told success rates increase with two and they gave us the option so we went for two 😊 maybe it depends on the clinic too?

It was over so quickly.... and now the wait begins....
