@Chooklass glad to hear you're not feeling too bad. Rest up!! At least you've got a nice long time now before you have to do anything (apart from the pesky pessaries!!). I'm ok, on my 3rd check up scan tomorrow, I'm hoping my smaller follicles have caught up!!

EC tomorrow... feeling anxious about the procedure, about the results... At the last scan they have found 5 follicles, really hoping they are good ones. Nice that there won't be any injections tonight though.

@Chooklass I've got a sassy 10 yr old DD who was a day 3 transfer... don't worry! X

Today I had my ET! It was a 5 day blastocyst, so thankfully I had a little longer to recover from EC.
My transfer went well, apparently my lining is looking great so fingers crossed! My bladder wasn't full enough so they had to fill it manually with a catheter....fun. He did keep saying "relax, let you legs flop and your bum into the bed", easier said than done at 5ft1 and in stirrups mate! 🤣.

It's so strange to think that the little embaby is now inside me and not in a dish in a lab.

@rainbow178 tomorrow morning can't come soon enough! I have been feeling my ovaries a bit more today, hope it's a sign of the follicles growing and not the stupid hydrosalpinx. @jcurve I can't forget what you said about the fluid affecting the quality of your eggs, so I'm freaking out even more.
Let's see what the morning brings for us, at the moment I can't really imagine my days without the injections, can't remember what my life was before them

@Lily999 don’t worry at all! I also have endometriosis so generally my reproductive system isn’t the most fantastic around. Even so, I got one good embryo out of it - you will be absolutely fine!

Hi thought I would join in as I’m currently stimming on a long protocol. Started Friday just gone how is everyone getting on and anyone around the same timing as me? Think my egg collection will be around the 7th/10th feb hopefully x

So many updates! Lots of exciting things going on.

I really hope that everyone is successful. It only takes one!! I have everything crossed that all your transfers work...even if you're disappointed with the numbers.

I have lots of follicles and they seem happy with their growth. Although my left ovary is apparently quite high, above my uterus and it took the nurse a lot of digging around to find it Friday! (Not so fun!!). Apparently this might make it a bit harder to get to it in Egg Collection!

I have a scan at 8.30 tomorrow too @rainbow178 and also hoping for a Wednesday EC so I seem to be on a very similar time line to you and @Lily999 and @Stace999

How long did everyone take off after egg collection? I know I will be off that day but will I need the Thursday and Friday off too? My job is quite physical (Nursery Teacher) but my lovely TAs have said that I can hide in the office as much as I need to.

Hey everyone hope you had a great weekend. I was in London booked it ages ago as a present to DH. Timing a bit off but we still had a great time. I am indeed on the same time line as you @huffleclaw scan today and EC wed or possibly Thursday. I have told my employer this time managed 3 iuis without them knowing until I had a miscarriage. I am a sales rep so manage my own diary but this time we have some meetings and events coming up and I was stressing about missing them. My boss was great and told me to do what I need to. I've had EC twice before and it honestly wasn't bad I had the next day working from home but just had a few twinges personally I suffer more with period pain and have to soldier on through that so this seemed like a breeze!
Scan at 11.30 so we shall see what's happening in there! Good luck everyone.

We are on our way to find out how big they are and what's next. I'm also a potentially Wednesday or Thursday EC :) so great to have a few of us here on the same schedule!
I'm sort of hoping for Thursday because I don't feel they are ready plus then I'll probably take Friday off and get a proper rest.

In the hospital waiting to see the doctor about my trigger injection. Come to a different hospital today as my usual hospital was very busy.

Follicles are growing very well! Possibly too well and they are saying it might be a freeze all cycle.

I really hope not! But if it's for the best chance...

I have 21 follicles that look like they will be mature by Wednesday and one of them is 30mm!! No wonder I have been so uncomfortable and bloated this week.

There is no free fluid around the ovaries which is a point in my favour so we shall see!

Hate waiting around and just want to get back to work so I can stop stressing about my follicles!

@Stace999 I have told work from the start as I need cover for every appointment...they have been great. Deputy head is non-teaching so she has been covering for me as much as possible.

Luckily I have an amazing team who are willing and able to pick up the slack a bit while I keep dashing off!

@huffleclaw you poor thing!! 30mm - ouch! Hope you are managing to take it easy xx

@Chooklass @huffleclaw @Lily999 @Stace999 just finished my scan, I had about 7 follicles above 17 where they want them and about 7 that were 13 and smaller. The nurse thinks that is good to go egg collection on Wednesday but she wanted to check with a doctor in case they want me to stim for one more day. Am waiting for a call this afternoon- which I won't be able to take because I am now in work so OH has been prepped with what to expect. I hope he writes it all down right!! So I am still in limbo! Can't tell work what I need off, can't start planning my cover (I am a teacher and sometimes it is more bother than its worth being off!!) so now just trying to take my mind off things........

Just got my Day 3 call 9 still doing well which is positive. Wishing everyone the best

Hiya! We had some good news this morning, I've got 14 altogether. 7bigger (between 17-22mm) and 7smaller (between 11-13) they are hoping some of the small ones will catch up, but to be honest the main thing for me was that there is no fluid and we got all cleared for EC on Wednesday morning. Got my trigger shot for tonight and we are all set. Lining is very good too 12.3mm they were happy with everything.

@Lily999 that's amazing news!! Follicles sound very similar to mine so makes me think they will confirm Wednesday for me too!

Great news about the fluid, hopefully now you can relax a bit!!! I am expecting a call this afternoon

@rainbow178 thanks it is scary how similar we are progressing haha! When they saw that I have one at 22mm and one at 20, 3 at 19 they told me right away it is definitely going to be Wednesday. They grew so much over the weekend as on Friday the biggest ones were 13mm! It makes me think maybe the trigger gives them a final push so few from the other 7 can get over the limit until Wednesday as well. We'll see. Now I am just happy and relaxed the hydrosalpinx is not there, she said it must have been something else as it was on the file with a question mark TBC as they suspected, but it's gone. There was nothing on Wednesday, they saw something on Friday, but by this morning it was gone again. Strange. Hopefully whatever it was it didn't affect the quality of the eggs.

@Lily999 ah that's great! I've been thinking about you and hoping for good news.
My follies ranged from 28mm down to 11 and I had two more days of stims plus the trigger to go, so there's definitely time for your smaller ones to spurt. I had 12 follicles and each produced and egg, so I reckon you're grand.

Well done ladies! That sounds almost identical to what I had at me last scan before triggering @Lily999 and more definitely caught up. X

Thinking of you all as you head into EC / ET / Trigger shots. Exciting times! Fingers crossed for some good news on this group soon.

Have to say preparing for a FET is much less exciting, just left to my own devices for weeks on end with injections and tablets until my appointment next week when we will hopefully find out a date for transfer.

Wow everyone's scans sound great. I have 7 definitely big enough and 4 smaller 1 is 30mm and another 29mm so they can't risk hanging around any longer. EC is Wednesday I am just waiting for the call to find out what time. Numbers are as expected if not better as I have low AMH so I'm happy and just hoping for that 1 good embryo.
