First thread is filling up fast so I thought I'd get a new one ready so we can keep on supporting each other through this crazy journey! Will post a link in old thread 😊xx

Oh, thank you @Dia12 and @rainbow178 for your messages, I am feeling now the odd pains even more than yesterday so I would say that now something is definitely happening in there, will know more tomorrow.
Sorry it might be a freeze all cycle, as the others said it does have better success rates so try and focus on that.
We were actally supposed to start in August, but they told me I might have hydrosalpinx in one of my tubes. So they gave us the option to either go ahead and have a 50% less chance of succeeding or go for a lap surgery first (meaning wait for a surgery for 3months)to check the tubes then wait for 3months and start IVF then.
It was an awfully difficult day as well because I wanted so desperately to start, but then hubby said what is the point of putting me through all this treatment if we have half the chance than others? So we decided to go for the surgery first and here we are getting IVF now with the same chances as the next person. It did mean almost half a year of delay, but now we know for sure that everything is ok (I didn't have hydro).

Hi ladies I had my update this afternoon, they didn't want to update me I done think because they did say that they all have to reach blastocyst stage before freeze so anything can change between now and then. What they did say was they are looking for between 5-8 cells on day 3 and I have 1x 5, 1x 7, 1x 8 & 1 x 9 cells. I would have preferred them giving me grading (if you can at this point) as at least I could google the info.

Oh well it's my birthday this weekend (apart from terrible constipation) and I'm hoping to enjoy it and get some positive news Monday.

@twinkleyes35 have you had an update on yours?

I still have really sore boobs I wonder how long that's going to last 🙈

twinkleyes35 · 23/01/2020 23:15

@Melissa1983 hey honey .. we only had one Egg and al our hopes and wishes or on that one angel . So far day 3 update is good .. keeping fingers and toes crossed and try not to think but the closer it's getting to day 5 I am getting more anxious.

Also reading everyday about progress of cell division is driving me nuts. But read somewhere that till day 3 it's maternal DNA and after day 3 (8 cell division) paternal DNa kicks in) so bad laugh with DH telling him hope your DNA don t mess up 😉.

That anxious call from clinic is a killer too .

Sore boobs as hell which started toward end of stimms and hiked up after trigger short. I am also getting bit snappy don't knw if that's all due to hormones change jabs 🤪.

Please girls pray for my tiny angel to stay strong and make it to day 5 🙏🏻x

twinkleyes35 · 23/01/2020 23:19

@Melissa1983 your response from clinic is positive just try not to think too much ( I knw it's not easy ) but I always talk to myself that you have done everything you could till now and it's not in your hands anymore.

Nmvasey · 24/01/2020 00:09

Just as a reminder I made it to EC but non fertilised so didn’t get to ET. Ladies who have had failed attempts when should I expect a bleed? Nurse said within a few days but it’s now been a week and I’m so bloated.

Hope everyone’s doing well!

jcurve · 24/01/2020 06:12

@Nmvasey my clinic said 5-10 days (I also didn’t do ET). Initially I lost some bloat but it’s been gradually building again with no sign of things arriving at the 8 day mark.

Parkandride · 24/01/2020 06:24

@Nmvasey my period was a week later after EC, it's a killer as you just want to unbloat!

Woke at 5am feeling sick, don't think I like the FET drugs and only had 1 dose! How is everyone else spacing them out? Think I might need to spread out the tablets

Ahh @Lily999 I was in the same place as you, had never had an op before so it was a big deal. They squished away my fluid next to my tube but on my next scan it was back so doesn't help my confidence levels this will work! Wishing you all the luck, glad you got a clean bill of health

HJF84 · 24/01/2020 06:25

It's my FET today. Wish me luck. Hopefully third time is the charm.

I'm having my final two Frosties put back in. One is currently thawing from day 3 and hopefully today they will tell me it's now at blasto stage. The other Frostie is a 4CC blasto, so not great quality but I've seen some success stories with 4CC on this forum, so hoping for a miracle.

I'm on the progesterone pessaries and lubion (injectable) and the bloating is unreal! I feel like I've eaten a huge meal 😂

candycornlover · 24/01/2020 06:26

Great news @Melissa1983!

@twinkleyes35 All it takes is one! Wishing you both lots of luck 🍀🙏🏻 xx

The big day finally here for me, ET this morning, all six embryos made it to blastocyst 😊
Had brilliant sleep last night, which I didn't think I would even sleep a wink!

Take care ladies and have a lovely weekend, try to take it easy (I know easier said than done!) xxx

Chooklass · 24/01/2020 06:27

Congratulations @Melissa1983 - sounds like you have 4 on track! That's great for day 3 xx

I was planning on going back to work today after 2 days off for EC, but I'm feeling pretty rubbish. Really sore stomach. I suspect it's the antibiotics rather than EC ... dreading adding progesterone pessaries into the mix today too 😫. I'm starting to really struggle with the volume of medication I've been taking - I knew I'd find that difficult tbh as I rarely take any kind of medication. Feels like I don't know my own body just now? Xx

Chooklass · 24/01/2020 06:28

@HJF84 and @candycornlover - good luck with your ET/ FETs!! 🤞😊

OP posts:
Sabz36 · 24/01/2020 06:52

@Chooklass just getting up and getting ready for EC is it that bad?

Parkandride · 24/01/2020 07:04

Good luck @HJF84 and @candycornlover fingers crossed

Oh @Chooklass that sounds rough, I was always going to do FET and at the time of EC thought I have no idea how people cope with fresh, 2 pretty brutal stages combined. Take it easy today and see how you feel x

Chooklass · 24/01/2020 07:05

@Sabz36 I didn't find the actual EC bad at all 😊. I'm feeling hugely bloated a few days later which feels worse! I'm on extra antibiotics though and I think they are causing havoc with my stomach. Good luck! Xx

Sabz36 · 24/01/2020 07:08

@Chooklass oh ok, random nerves are setting in. I'll check in with everyone when I get home.

Stace999 · 24/01/2020 07:52

Hi there just jumping in on this thread if that's OK. A quick history: 2 x ICSI in 2016 with husband Sperm BFN. Then discovered he has very high fragmentation so went with a donor for 3 x iui 1 worked but early loss. We are now on 1st ivf with donor.
I am 36 but have lower than average AMH on short protocol and 1st scan revealed 5 follicles with hopefully a few others to catch up. 2nd scan today then EC either Mon or wed. Its been fine I am just taking things a step at a time. Hope everyone is coping OK with this mad rollercoaster worst part for me is the TWW!

rainbow178 · 24/01/2020 07:54

@Sabz36 I have had egg collection 3 times and always been fine, a bit twingy and sore but other than that, fine. Don't worry!! Good luck xx

Parkandride · 24/01/2020 08:05

@Sabz36 I really enjoyed EC, sedation is lovely! Most people don't feel too bad afterwards, I was fine to start but then felt v rough a few days after but think I was unlucky. You'll be fine, go get those eggs!

Welcome @Stace999

HJF84 · 24/01/2020 08:17

@Sabz36 Just like @Parkandride, I loved the sedation too. It felt like a really good sleep. I was a little tender afterwards, so just make sure you rest. Good luck!

twinkleyes35 · 24/01/2020 08:27

Welcome @Stace999 ... this group is amazing and trust me putting it out what's in your head as it sometimes is like therapy x

@HJF84 @candycornlover good luck with your FET/ET .
.
@Sabz36 good luck with EC I literally had no symptom what so ever after EC apart from bloating and sore boobs which was possibly due to stimms & trigger short. Few twinges near ovaries but nothing that made me crazy x

Hope everyone else is doing well x Smile

Chooklass · 24/01/2020 08:45

Welcome @Stace999 😃! Sounds like you are an old hand at this - wishing you the best of luck this round! X

Morning ladies. Good luck ladies with EC and ET today.
Um still watching your journeys but over in the TWW group holding out for OTD

HJF84 · 24/01/2020 10:04

Bad news from the clinic. My day 3 that they were culturing to day 5 has stopped growing. Having a little cry to myself. I have to hope for a miracle now with my 4CC frostie 🤞🏼

Sabz36 · 24/01/2020 10:07

Welcome @Stace999 therapy is seriously in this group.

Bestofyou1982 · 24/01/2020 10:08

@HJF84 that's such disappointing news. Sending you much love. Are you home today or do you have to work? xx
