5 eggs from retrieval :(

Anyone had any luck with small number of eggs from retrieval ?!

We are lucky enough to get it on the NHS, very lucky. Hopefully the waiting list will get shorter 🤞

@Lrv1987 just had a call to say a couple want to donate their embryos and we are top of the list. Hoping to do the transfer early Dec IF the couple's screening comes back before the embryos expire. Fingers crossed it comes back in time 😍

YES - I had 5 eggs collected only 1 fertilised but she’s now my 16 week old baby 🥰

@Lrv1987 everything is going in the right direction thanks. We have 3 donated embryos in the freezer and hoping to have the first one transferred on 9th December. Just come of the Norethisterone (yuk) and about to start on Progynova and Progesterone. How are you? How many weeks are you now? x

Hello can I join you lovely ladies please? I had egg retrieval yesterday, 6 eggs, 4 good enough for icsi, 2 fertilised so watch and wait eek! Anyone had success with low numbers like me? Agonising! The clinic will call me Sat day 3 to see if transfer that day or day 5. 🤞

I responded very badly to stimms but on my second round of IVF we retrieved 6 eggs, all fertilised, 2 five day embryos transferred (from frozen) and that resulted in a live birth . It’s hard to keep the faith but it is quality over quantity. Good luck
