Thanks so much @BinkyB4. Sorry your spotting, hopefully you're not out! Good luck x

Rinoa · 26/09/2019 20:06

@LaurenN23 chin up Lauren. I'm praying it will go well for you just take it one day at a time 😊

Rinoa · 26/09/2019 20:10

I went for progesterone bloods on Monday, how long do results take? They didn't say just said they'll call u 😂

AmyMaria2 · 26/09/2019 21:41

@Rinoa I usually call for my blood results 2 days later, they've always been ready x

Seventytwoseventythree · 26/09/2019 21:50

Hi @LaurenN23 really sorry to hear about your prolactin level and the set backs. Hope you’re ok. Let me know if you want to chat- I know it’s difficult to meet people who know how you feel.

Rinoa · 27/09/2019 08:18

@AmyMaria2 thanks! I'll give them a call today 😊

Rinoa · 27/09/2019 14:01

So they said my results were 91, and means I ovulated ! 😁 not sure what normal levels are 😂 time for google

AmyMaria2 · 27/09/2019 14:36

@Rinoa 91 is really good! Congrats xx

doomkittycleo · 27/09/2019 15:54

Hi girls, just to let you know I was in ASDA collecting my IVF medication this morning and found FRER pregnancy tests x2 for 90p.

Thought I’d share!!!

Goingbacktokansascity · 27/09/2019 16:31

@doomkittycleo I’ll be popping to Asda tomorrow to stock up 😂

Rinoa · 27/09/2019 17:45

@AmyMaria2 sometimes I hate google lol found this and makes me think I am preggo and making it hard to wait until Sunday to test!

DobbieFreeElf · 27/09/2019 18:09

Just for reference I looked back and when I had my day 21 progesterone test it was 53 and I wasn’t pregnant, 90 sounds super high though!

I’m due on next Tuesday (cd26 today) I usually start spotting about now and I’m swinging wildly between definitely not pregnant and maybe I am Confused

Trying to decide whether to have a glass of wine this evening... 90% of me knows that af will probably arrive on time and therefore I should just crack open the bottle Grin

BinkyB4 · 27/09/2019 18:35

I’m on my second glass.....AF arrived properly and it’s been a really crap day.

I’ve been to the hospital for more Clomid but just feel like they don’t really care and the conversation I had on th phone (with a doctor I presume) was just ridiculous.....she was going to up my dose even tho my last two cycles showed good follicle growth and I got positive ovulation tests both times.
I suggested day 21 bloods, which she said weren’t necessary and has given me 48(?!) progesterone pessaries with no indication of when to start using them as last time I had the trigger shot but not having it this time.
Really pissed off and fed up.

DobbieFreeElf · 27/09/2019 19:15

So frustrating @BinkyB4, I had an hour long stand off with a toddler over spaghetti bolognese so the wine won. Just a glass, it will be as it is...

Marmite83 · 27/09/2019 19:16

That's a bargain @doomkittycleo, were they just in the usual place? Doubt they'll have them at my Asda if I go but worth a look!

Rinoa · 27/09/2019 19:31

Thanks @DobbieFreeElf I need to bring myself back to ground level 😂 what will be will be. Enjoy your wine!

doomkittycleo · 27/09/2019 19:42

@Marmite83 They were on a discount rack in the pharmacy bit.

BinkyB4 · 27/09/2019 20:49

@DobbieFreeElf haha oh god that sounds frustrating!!
I’ve had a good cry and feel a bit better now....

I know it’s not the thread but how do you go about finding a good ivf clinic?

AmyMaria2 · 27/09/2019 20:50

@Rinoa I got my bfp this time & my 21 day bloods were 86.. so it is a good sign! But don't wanna get your hopes up, good luck!! X

doomkittycleo · 27/09/2019 20:55

@DobbieFreeElf, @BinkyB4 I decided to go T total this month seeing as we’re paying so much for IVF.

Now you guys talking about wine is making me want one grrrr 😆.

Also lmao @DobbieFreeElf at the toddler spaghetti stand off. That sounds like a typical night at my house!

DobbieFreeElf · 27/09/2019 21:27

@BinkyB4 our NHS consultant pushed us in the direction of his private clinic for ivf (and posted through the welcome pack!) the success rates were high but the cost there is astronomical, top top end of the scale... we’ve decided in January that we will give abc a shot as it’s only 2.5k a round and the 10k we have put aside for it will give us a few rounds rather than just 1 at other clinics... I’d say success rates are the most important factor. Abc’s Are quite high but they are quite stringent on criteria for their patients.

@doomkittycleo, we’ve done t total months on and off for the last 2 years TTC so I know that yearning for wine only too well! I will also be back on the wagon if we get to January and head down the ivf route. Hope the injections aren’t too awful!

DobbieFreeElf · 27/09/2019 21:29

Oh and the stand off over spaghetti ended with me picking all the “yucky sauce” (best blinking bolognese I’ve ever made) off the pasta... it would have probably been quicker to have cooked up a fresh bowl of pasta but I’m too stubborn! Grin

Marmite83 · 27/09/2019 21:31

I feel your pain @DobbieFreeElf, my toddler is very stubborn! Enjoy the wine.

@BinkyB4 I'd recommend going on the hfea website to see which clinics you're near and their ratings. Do a shortlist and see if they have an open day you can attend. I felt more comfortable at the open day for my clinic. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and I liked the level of information they provided. They really took the time to answer any questions I had and were very thorough when going through pricing with me.

Rinoa · 27/09/2019 21:41

@AmyMaria2 thank you! Trying to keep my hopes neutral but I'm so excited 😆
