I was one the wine last night (not loads) even though in the tww. Can't spend half my life forever not drinking just in case it's 'the month'.

If we do have ivf then I'd probably abstain and moan about it a lot.

Incidentally it looks as though my LP was a day or 2 longer but by +be opk coming forward to day 15

I'm freaking out as I'm planning to test tomorrow but last night and this morning I'm getting dull cramps like I would around AF time. No blood when I wipe but I'm freaking out! 😭 I just want to stay in bed all day and play video games 😂

How long is everyone's cycle while on Clomid? I took Clomid from day 5-9, blood test on day 21 showed that I didn't ovulate :( I'm keen to start my next round of Clomid. I have PCOS but my doctor won't let me force start a period, feel like I could be waiting forever!!!! I'm on cycle day 31 no sigh of AF :( Anyone been through anything similar ? :( xxx

I'm only on the first round of Clomid but took it CD2-6. I also have pcos . Got positive opk on cd13&14. I also worried about cycle length but doc said since I took Clomid I would ovulate like a normal 28 day cycle. Since u took Clomid later sounds like u would have ovulated later as well and have a slightly longer cycle ? Have u taken a pregnancy test? Either positive or negative I would give the doc a call to advise. That's what I plan to do either way for piece of mind.

Thank you @Rinoa well my bloods on day 21 showed no ovulation, I've not done a test as it's very unlikely and just disappointing. Your right tho I probably should test and ring on Monday. xx

@Helena112 that's odd why did they still do cd21 testing? If it sounds like you should've ovulated later . Yea definitely call I know not what we want to hear but sometimes docs do know best 😂

@Rinoa your right we have to trust that the doctors do know best - but sometimes I think my "self taught google fertility degree" contradicts her advice Hmmit's all very frustrating !

@Chichz yes, we’ve got 2 monte month’s trying clomid, plan is then to start ivf journey in January if nothing happens.

@Helena112 the only reason I have got clomid to try is my self taught google knowledge. I did tell the consultant that I didn’t want to undermine him but after hearing my reasoning he gave me a 3 month prescription. I’ve not heard of anyone starting clomid later than day 2 (seems to be the norm) or 3... but I’m a newbie to this, might be worth checking though?

My cycle has always been 27/28 days, this month was month none clomid and i started spotting this morning, cd27 so I don’t think the pills have changed that it!

@DobbieFreeElf sorry to hear about the spotting. I too wouldn't have got clomid or now metaformin had I not directly asked for them. Dr google is a blessing and a curse I swear!

@seven201 what dose of Metformin do you take? I was on 1,500mg but was advised by my doctor to stop taking it while on clomid! I still have a whole pack left over so might just take it again next cycle without the doctor knowing Confused

Yes I took 2 cheap test first as first one I still couldn't believe then a digital because why not. I had 2 😂

I can't upload pictures supposedly there is a limit per day? I updated another thread so maybe that's why :(

Anyway 2 cheap tests showed a light line but definitely visible , digital says 1-2 weeks pregnant!

I’m about to really start looking into IVF but literally have no idea other than looking on the HFEA website how to go about picking somewhere......do you visit a few or just go off stats or what?

I’ve just got a feeling Clomid isn’t going to work for me......I’ve had such a light period and just think it’s messing me up even more and just delaying the inevitable.......

@Helena112 I'm on 1500mg of metaformin but instead of clomid. Clomid thinned my womb lining so had to stop it. I don't think you should take the two together, but I don't know.
