Hi all.....not posted for a bit cos I stopped getting the notifications (how do I put them back?!) n got a bit left behind with what’s going on!
I’m 9dpo and either swinging between thinking I’m definitely not pregnant, not a chance, to thinking I must be pregnant with twins.....no happy medium!!
I’m still using these blimmin’ progesterone pessaries twice a day and was getting anxious about having a blood test to see if they were working, but I’ve decided I’ll just arrange it for next month instead.

There seems to be more pregnant people/tiny babies around than ever at the min.......depressing......

Hope everyone is ok. X

doomkittycleo · 19/09/2019 15:37

@BinkyB4 we’re the same DPO. I’m the same, have stupidly tested early as I “NEED” to know so I can get my head around IVF if af shows up. Obviously BFN cus its way too early, but got sore BBS today and anxiety is through the roof.

When do you plan to test? Or are you gonna try and wait until af is due?

BinkyB4 · 19/09/2019 16:47

@doomkittycleo I’m probably going to wait till next Wednesday to test, only because I had the trigger shot so that can show as a positive pregnancy test for over two weeks from the time of injection and I don’t want to be getting my hopes up and also I’m on progesterone pessaries which I’m hoping will lengthen my cycle and they run out on Tuesday.

I am however a VERY impatient person and I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to stick to my own rules.....!!

When are you going to test again?

AmyMaria2 · 19/09/2019 16:51

@BinkyB4 it does seem there are so many tiny babies and pregnant ladies around at the moment!😩X

BinkyB4 · 19/09/2019 17:03

So many @AmyMaria2!!! I’m sick of them all!!!!

Marmite83 · 19/09/2019 17:11

@Goingbacktokansascity I absolutely love your style! Really made me smile so thank you for that.

Rinoa · 19/09/2019 17:47

I'm only 2DPO and very hungry 😂 I bet I'm just symptom spotting and making an excuse to be a piggy 🐷 had an Indian last night and sushi for lunch!

seven201 · 19/09/2019 17:50

@Goingbacktokansascity that is a genius tactic!! Grin

Jemstar33 · 19/09/2019 19:09

@BinkyB4 I’m 11 dpo and feeling up and down with pregnancy symptoms too. Glad to have you back with us!

AmyMaria2 · 19/09/2019 21:55

@Jemstar33 did you have any pregnancy symptoms before your bfp last time? Are you still planning on testing Sunday? X

Jemstar33 · 19/09/2019 22:01

@AmyMaria2 yes my nipples went huge and boobs were sore. I’ve had sore boobs on and off but not like last time. Yep still planning to test Sunday.

How have you been feeling? X

AmyMaria2 · 19/09/2019 22:09

@Jemstar33 ah well at least you're feeling it a little, I always hate that symptom as i get it so much when af is due anyway🙄 never know which to expect.

I'm ok got a blood test tomorrow to confirm ovulation, although the scan already did, bit of a waste of time really! Then see my consultant next Thursday, I'll know by then if the last months worked or not😬🤞 how are you feeling? Looking forward to testing Sunday or not really? x

Jemstar33 · 20/09/2019 07:54

@AmyMaria2 would the bloods today not be able to tell you’re pregnant too? Good luck for both anyway. Keeping positive for you! Xx

Well I tested this morning, I don’t know why being honest as I’m only 12 dpo but...it’s positive! I used one of those cheap strips that I used last time and it gave a very very faint line. So I did a FRER and the lines came up straight away and pretty dark! I’m shocked and happy obviously but trying not to get my hopes up after last time. It’s really bittersweet.

I’m hoping as the lines are quiet dark already then that’s a good sign but I may not even call the docs for an appointment until I get past 6 weeks or something

Sorry ladies I feel I’ve gotten away lightly given some of your stories but clomid obviously does work for me.

Just need to hope and pray this baby lasts.

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/09/2019 08:15

@jemstar33 congratulations!!!! I’ll be praying for it to stick too. I’m honestly so pleased for you and don’t think you got away lightly nobody will think that. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

doomkittycleo · 20/09/2019 08:23

@Jemstar33 Wow congratulations hun. I wouldn’t have even spotted that squinter on the cheapie, but wow clear as day on the FRER.

I’ve took another test today bfn, but it’s only 10dpo. I know I shouldn’t but I’m having loads of period pains and BB’s are sore.

Just wanna know either way, cus of starting IVF.

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/09/2019 08:39

I’m refusing to test until the clinic call me to let me know if I’ve ovulated. I’m so annoyed I’ve been waiting since monday. I could be 0 DPO or like 13/14 who knows 😭

doomkittycleo · 20/09/2019 08:49

@Goingbacktokansascity I haven’t been on clomid for 3 months and never had any blood tests for ovulation even when I was.

Ultrasounds (done privately at my request), showed I hadn’t ovulated in 3 months due to cysts, but this month I think I may have as had a gut feeling along with a blaring positive opk the same day.

Truth is I have no way of knowing, I’m CD23 and positive opk was CD12.

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/09/2019 08:57

Did you get positive OPK on clomid/for the last few months when you didn’t ovulate? I’ve never had a positive OPK so really shooting in the dark

Marmite83 · 20/09/2019 09:38

@Jemstar33 congratulations!!! You definitely haven't had an easy ride and I'm so very happy you have another bfp. I have everything crossed for you that this is the one that gives you your baby x

LaurenN23 · 20/09/2019 10:23

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me hopping on! I'm due to start Clomid in roughly 10 days.

I've got PCOS, very irregular cycles (likely to have never ovulated), I've had lots of bloods and a clear HSG, husbands SA is all good - and now here we are!

I'm on my 3rd day of 5 days Provera today, the last time I took it I came on exactly 7 days after my last tablet so I'm hoping for the same again so I can get started on Clomid!

I am very scared to start, mainly because I don't know if I'm mentally prepared to deal with negative results and miscarriage risks etc - just want some support! I keep thinking to myself 'in just over a month I could find out I'm pregnant! I can tell people at Christmas!' all positive thoughts but I just keep jumping the gun. Going from being really negative to really hopeful!

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/09/2019 10:31

@laurenN23! I completely feel you, every month I spend half my time planning when I’ll be 12 weeks to tell everyone and half the time thinking I’ll never have another baby. It’s def an emotional rollercoaster

Jemstar33 · 20/09/2019 10:39

Thank you so much ladies @goingbacktokansascity
@doomkittycleo @Marmite83

@LaurenN23 welcome. Don’t be scared, you will get there. And those ‘jumping the gun thoughts’ are the only things that kept me going. Good luck x

LaurenN23 · 20/09/2019 10:43

@Goingbacktokansascity tell me about it!! I really wish I wasn't such a planner, that I could just relax and think 'if it happens, it happens'.

I honestly never knew how emotionally draining this journey was going to be, I feel like I want to crawl up into a ball and cry - it's torture :( especially because I don't know if clomid is even going to work for me!

where are you in your journey?

LaurenN23 · 20/09/2019 10:44

@Jemstar33 that's reassuring to hear, a big congratulations to you!! Clomid looks like the perfect match for you :D

BinkyB4 · 20/09/2019 11:10

@Jemstar33 congratulations!!! That’s such lovely news to hear!xxx
