Has anyone found Clomid to have shortened there period Days? I'm usually on my af for 6 days. I'm on my 3rd today and have come off already?

Hi all - we have been TTC for nearly 2 years with no joy. I have another appointment with the specialist on Monday to discuss Clomid - although I ovulate every month. Is anyone else in my situation? Thanks x

Hi @LJM83 I have no problems ovulating but have a short luteal phase, hubby's got a slightly low count too, I've done 2 rounds of clomid and 1 more to try

@CharlotteCx might be because the clomid has thinned your lining, it is one of the common side effects

Oh no I'm back to spotting now so this is my 4th day I always am lighter on my 5th day so hopefully it holds out til then.. never thought I'd say I wanted my period to hang around lol.

@BinkyB4 yay congratulations to you and @Helena112 praying for sticky babies for you. @helena112 not to scare you and it prob means nothing but my tests were also very strong and I’ve had two scans since which has shown 2 babies! I’m over the moon but also very nervous.

@binkyb4 for me if was defo worth it, I’m very anxious that something will go wrong given last mc. So it’s been nice to see the heartbeats, I’ve also had no symptoms apart from extreme tiredness so I’m constantly worrying. I know that @AmyMaria2 consultant gave her a scan to check for multiples because of clomid. Mine didn’t so I paid for private. There was a deal on near me, 2 scans for £80 which has been fairly cheap compared to others. So excited for you!! Xx

@jemstar33 thanks hun, got my trigger shot tonight and egg collection is Saturday. Getting nervous now!

@Goingbacktokansascity oh bum. That's rubbish. Definitely try and get the progesterone pessaries if you can. I wonder if it's something you can buy yourself anyway. Obvs with research and not from anywhere dodgy!

I’ve never had a problem with my lining and letrozole is good for lining so not concerned about that! I’ve never had a period less than 28 day cycle so this is so weird 😭

@Goingbacktokansascity Did you also accidentally take your clomid early this month or was that someone else? I did and I came on earlier than usual, I think that the day or 2 early has brought everything forward for me.

I'm counting today as CD1 as yesterday was nothing more than spotting really, we can be cycle buddies this month!

@dobbie Yeah that was me! today is super super heavy but I’ll see what it’s like over night before deciding if today or tomorrow is CD 1

@Goingbacktokansascity Mine's the opposite, just a very very light brown bleed with some very dark (almost black) clots. Maybe this is another spotting day...

@Jemstar33 I'm fine. Been distracting myself by decorating during half term. So nice that you've seen the heartbeats (2!!!!) now.

I think today is my ovulation day (positive opk 2 days ago but temp dip this morning) but as is typical was about to get on with baby making when my friend called who's nearly 37 weeks to say her baby's movements have changed so can I come straight over to look after their 3 y/o so they can go to the hospital. I'm going to wake my husband up in the early hours when I get to go home! I feel irrationally really annoyed about missing the 'perfect time', but also massively pissed off at myself for being such a massive selfish prick! I've lost all perspective lately! Even my laid back dh looked upset. We had sex last night, so it probably doesn't actually matter about tonight. Just having an unnecessary rant.

@seven201 eurgh sorry to hear that, sounds tough, hope hubby appreciates the wake up call.

I’m counting yesterday at cycle day 1 as it was quite heavy so today CD2 and back on the drugs 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
