I'm cd20 and finally have a positive opk! Haven't had sex for three days as I've been decorating so really couldn't be bothered and as my opks weren't even dark assumed it would be a while yet. Oops! Will get on it, literally, tonight!

@Goingbacktokansascity sorry you're having blood test issues like Helena112. Why is nothing ever just straightforward?!

@gwen7896 I think you've probably just been unlucky cold wise.

@CharlotteCx I'd push for a tracking scan and if they say no have one privately. I had a private one and that's how I discovered clomid was thinning my womb lining making implantation nearly impossible.

@seven201 yes, my dr has requested one for me! So I'll be having a scan this month

@seven201 Probably :( last year I was absolutely fine and this year after each round of Clomid I got hit lol

Just did a test because apparently I love disappointment 😂 obviously BFN at 8DPO.

Moot point. Didn’t ovulate. Day 21 bloods back

The clomid really turned my emotions upside down. Praying I do ovulate. Does anyone use clear blue ovulation tests?

@Goingbacktokansascity sorry to hear that! Will they put you on a stronger dose next month?

They can up the dose but I’m not sure if we might just skip ahead and do IVF!

What reference range has everyone been told for ovulation?

My friend is an obstetrician (not fertility specialist though) and I just told her my level was 16, needs to be 30 for ovulation and she just replied “nope 16 shows ovulation” so she’s thrown a spanner in the works as I was midway through my grump.

I’m obviously doing literature searches to find out, I’ll be able to write a review on the evidence by the end of the day 😂

@Goingbacktokansascity last year when I went to an appointment with my gynaecologist he was going through my cd21 blood tests from last year - one was 15 & one was 24, he says that both of them has shown ovulation. He said anything over 10 is classed as a good level because anything less than 10 would mean you wouldn't be able to sustain a healthy pregnancy.. I don't know how accurate this information is but I suppose he's the gyno so knows his stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️ ..

@CharlotteCx just spent ages reading an article and wondering why it kept saying bitches till I realised they also use ovulation induction in dogs. Woof woof

@Goingbacktokansascity 🤣🤣 well, from my experience I'd say 16 is a level that indicates ovulation from the information I was given. But I know what it's like, you want to know for certain! Did you get positive opks and any ovulation symptoms?

I need to go back on Monday for a day 28 incase I ovulated late. I’ve emailed my old private fertility doctor and she replied and said that she would have been happy with 16 so I’m not as grump. Positive OPk no symptoms

@Goingbacktokansascity well least that's given you a piece of mind. My worst fear was to call up for my cd21s to be told I hadn't ovulated. I completely understand why you'd of been grumpy. I'd of felt crushed. But I'd say 16 is a indication, but what do I know 🤣

@CharlotteCx so that’s ng/mL, in the uk we use nmol/L so different measurements.
10 ng is equivalent to about 30nmol I think
