I did yesterday but it was negative a Clear blue digi one. I'm not sure weather it's implantation bleeding? I keep going to the loo every 15 minutes to check to see if there's any more 🤣 but there's not. Apparently if that was implantation bleeding I wouldn't get a BFP yet as the HCG needs to build up. I thought at 14DPO it'd be a little bit late for implantation? I don't have a clue, do you? X

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/10/2019 19:01

www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/

I used this to see how likely it was I’d get a false negative etc

CharlotteCx · 20/10/2019 19:03

Thanks - I'll test tomorrow if af isn't in full flow by then. Would you say 14dpo is too late to implant?

Helena112 · 20/10/2019 19:04

@CharlotteCx sorry to hear about the BFN :( your right if it was implantation you would get a negative test.. but I think implantation happens around DOP8? Might just be a slow start to AF? What days are you planning on taking Clomid this cycle? Do you have the tablets ready :) I hope it's implantation, but I think it's more likely AF. At least Clomid worked in making you ovulate at 50mg - it didn't for me! I'm now on 100mg xxx

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/10/2019 19:22

Clear blue are not sensitive too, I’d recommend you test tomorrow with a FRER with is sensitive to 12.5mcg instead of 25

CharlotteCx · 20/10/2019 19:32

I have googled, it says some people can implant 10-14dpo but suppose everyone is different. We'll see! I haven't got my tablets already no 😩 I'll have to call the dr, do the drs give them out? Yes 50mg worked for me! Did you not ovulate on 50mg? How many cycles of 100mg have you done? X

DobbieFreeElf · 20/10/2019 19:36

@Chichz I remain fairly symptom free however I do find that the days I'm taking it I overhear at night, have really vivid dreams and struggle to sleep... that said, I remember that always ad that said that you're hotter during your period so that could be the main contributing factor! Who knows!

@CharlotteCx implantation usually happens day 6-10 but no harm in testing again tomorrow. I think clomid can slightly change how and when your period arrives. Use your first wee tomorrow, that should be pretty reliable!

I broke tonight and had a glass of wine, totally fancied it so I will assume for now that I'm not getting a BFP this month as every time I've had one in the past I go off wine and gin very early Grin

CharlotteCx · 20/10/2019 19:38

@Goingbacktokansascity yeah a lot of people have said about the CB not being sensitive, they sound rubbish god knows why their so expensive. I'll wait n see if AF comes tonight/tomorrow then start testing :) Iv just been loo again and there's no more in underwear and no more on tissue. Iv got stabbing pains in my lower abdomen too, not where u usually get period pains. This is driving me mad lol

CharlotteCx · 20/10/2019 19:41

@DobbieFreeElf yeah I'm going to test tomorrow. This is my first cycle of Clomid so unsure as to what my flow will be like on it, and I don't know how long/short my LT is, I ovulated on either the Saturday or Sunday 2 weeks ago, so I'm either 14 or 15dpo. It's all a guessing game isn't it, So emotionally draining this journey.

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/10/2019 19:44

My periods are much much lighter which is odd because letrozole is meant to improve lining 🤷🏽‍♀️

6DPO (hopefully) and I’ve stopped with the sex. Can’t bare it anymore. Also haven’t drank even though I’m gagging for a glass of red.

DH needs to take my bloods tonight for day 21 bloods tomorrow because I won’t have time for him to take them before work, he’ll probably give me a big bruise for pestering him for so much sex this month. Poor guy.

DobbieFreeElf · 20/10/2019 19:51

@Goingbacktokansascity From one form of poking to another!

Well done you! I had my eyebrows microbladed today, fml it hurt, so I'm numbing it... with wine!

@CharlotteCx 24 months of ovulating, bd-ing and af arriving... monthly emotional rollercoaster with no drop to get off!

Goingbacktokansascity · 20/10/2019 19:54

@DobbieFreeElf as soon as AF arrives the red will be out to fix my broken heart 😂

Plan is to test Thursday

CharlotteCx · 20/10/2019 20:32

@DobbieFreeElf oh wow 24 months, That is a long time, I hope we all get our bfps very soon.

CharlotteCx · 21/10/2019 06:16

AF annoyingly has shown her face this morning - never mind, onto the second cycle. Least 50mg has made me ovulate. I didn't think it would! Just worried I won't be able to get hold of my second lot of tablets by tomorrow as my gyno only prescribed me one month at a time 🤨.

Goingbacktokansascity · 21/10/2019 06:44

@CharlotteCx that’s annoying about AF, but good to know that you’re ovulating.

DobbieFreeElf · 21/10/2019 07:17

@CharlotteCx don't worry too much if you don't get it today, some drs say to take it cd3 onward so you've got today and tomorrow to get hold of it

CharlotteCx · 21/10/2019 07:25

Yeah going to make phone calls today to try get hold of them for tomorrow! Going to request scans this month too as was not offered them for the first month.

Goingbacktokansascity · 21/10/2019 08:12

@CharlotteCx definitely request scans but don’t be surprised if they say no on the NHS. Privately we pay around £100 a scan, there’s probably somewhere near you that does it

Goingbacktokansascity · 21/10/2019 08:16

@CharlotteCx actually in your shoes I don’t know if I’d bother paying £100s for scans if you know you’re ovulating because they won’t show you anything? They’ll show you’re releasing an egg which you know from your blood test. Scans are useful to assess if you’re developing follicles and they arrest and are mostly useful if you use trigger injections to release the egg because you need to make sure the follicle is the right size.
I’m sure your gynaecologist can guide you

CharlotteCx · 21/10/2019 08:16

Yes deffo going too, your right they'll probably say no but if you don't ask you don't get. If they do I'll look into private. Where abouts do you live?

CharlotteCx · 21/10/2019 08:31

@Goingbacktokansascity .. ahh okay, could they tell me about the lining of my womb and stuff with the scans? Cos some people it thins the lining doesn't it and obviously I won't know that unless I have a scan. If the first cycle of Clomid makes you ovulate, will all of the cycles make u ovulate? I didn't know if it was a hit and miss.

Goingbacktokansascity · 21/10/2019 08:35

Generally if it works for you at a certain dose it will keep working, but it’s normal in every woman to have random anovulatory cycles where there just isn’t a dominant follicle that month.

Usually they check uterus during the work up before starting clomid, well in my NHS board they do anyway, but no harm in asking

CharlotteCx · 21/10/2019 08:48

That's good to know. Yeah I'm aware of that, hopefully I'll ovulate every month of taking them my body's given me enough anovulatory cycles 🤣 .. so frustrating because before starting the clomid I was stupid enough to think well if I do ovulate and we have sex round the right time then I'll fall pregnant! If only it was that easy 🙈🙄 . So annoying, as my best friend with 2 children only has to have sex once in her fertile window and bam she's pregnant!!

Goingbacktokansascity · 21/10/2019 09:02

It’s difficult, I’m preparing for disappointment even if I ovulate because it’s still only a 30% chance of pregnancy if you do everything right.
I’ve bought a million vitamins to help DH sperm so hopefully he takes them. His analysis was normal but it can’t hurt. He’s also volunteered to stop drinking incase that affects it so good news for me having a designated driver for the next few months!

CharlotteCx · 21/10/2019 09:12

@Goingbacktokansascity it is such an emotional rollercoaster, I'm a worrier at the best of times but this is causing me to have such bad anxiety. It's because it's out of my control. I said to my OH I'm so used to getting what I want in my life, but this is just something I can't control/get when I want it 😟 . What vitamins did you get your OH? My OH semen results were 30 million, his urologist said his mortility was fine, his morphology was 3%, but she said she wasn't worried at all because he's other numbers were good. She also said the amount they tested there wasn't a lot in the pot so if they tested his normal amount that comes out it would of been triple that. She advised us to get coq10, garlic, selenium, folic acid, omega 3, and multi vits. He takes them daily. He done another sample a few weeks ago to see if his results were better/worse & they'd lost his pot so couldn't test so now he has to do it again it's just finding time between work!

Iv called my gynos Secutary but no answer so spoke to drs she said they can only give it to me if my gyno has requested them too but she's printed off the letter that my gyno sent in August to say I'd had the clomid so she'll have a word with the dr to see what they can do.

How long have you been trying for? Do you have children already?
