@CharlotteCx are they not monitoring you during the cycle tracking? Yes I had 50mg so yea I think you will ovulate around cd12-15. Don't get discouraged I had super light opk test right before I got a positive! My first positive was cd13. Cd 14 counted as first ovulation day.

No they aren't .. my gyno has just given me two blood tests for CD21 & CD28. I didn't think they gave scans with 50mg dosage as it's the lower dose? Right ok, well I'll be making sure I dtd every other day from now I'm CD 8. Did you have any symptoms of ovulation? I finished my pills on Saturday evening, and I still woke up lastnight with a hot flush twice, is that normal? Also, did you feel really tender in your ovary area straight after taking the last pill? From Saturday Iv felt it, like every time I bend down forward to pick something off the floor say, it feels uncomfortable in that area if you get me? It's not in any way painful, just tender.

Also, did you have the Ovia app or any kind of period app on your phone where you write your cycle length in & it tells you when your fertile window is? As Iv got the ovia app and I put in my cycle length roughly 35 days and it said my fertile week will start on 11th October til 16th, did you input yours and still ovulate like a 28 day cycle?!

Right, period has gone awol! Ahhhh! No tests in the house and I’m going out soon so I’ve saved first pee in a pot, will buy a test and check for BFN and if that’s the case I will take my second clomid pill.

The consultant who prescribed clomid basically sent us off with the paper and a “i’ll see you for ivf in jan” no monitoring, no bloods, so I don’t think I can call him and ask what I should do (in any case whenever I did call him before I never could talk to him)

Just panicking that the bleeding I had on Saturday was only for half the day (well I had my cup in so it could even have been only an hour or so I guess) so nowhere near a normal af.

DH knows something’s wrong and keeps asking what’s up, I’ve tried explaining but I’m not sure he understands why I’m obsessing over getting it wrong

Mine is exactly the same @DobbieFreeElf.....I was actually expecting a heavier AF cos of my progesterone pessaries but no, nothing like normal which wasn’t exactly heavy anyway!

That’s reassuring @BinkyB4. My period has been light since my first miscarriage 2 years ago but it does usually last 3-4 days. In one of my tests they did find some scarring on my cervix, which they treated, at the time this was cited as a possible reason for light periods and lack of BFP, as not a lot could be get in or out, but periods are still light and still no BFP.

Will do the test and take the pill!

@DobbieFreeElf I lost our second daughter at 24 weeks nearly two years ago and my periods have never been the same since then.
I also had slight scaring, but basically said it shouldn’t be an issue but I’m the same and haven’t had a BFP since May 2017.....🙁

@BinkyB4 sorry to learn about your daughter Sounds like we’re TTC twins now. The thing that’s really getting to me is that our DS was conceived 2nd month TTC and our next pregnancy was the 1st try after cutting back breast feeding, why now can we not conceive? If DH’s low sperm count is an issue now surely it was similar when we conceived so quickly before . I just have a gut feeling that the first miscarriage (or subsequent procedure) has done something to my body.

What’s your plan going forward? We’re trying clomid this month and next then will start ivf January/ Feb

Counting today as CD1 ladies even though didn’t wake up bleeding but it’s heavier today than it probably will be so I’m gonna start letrozole 7.5 tomorrow!

@CharlotteCx I didn't have any symptoms until after I finished the pills. More around ovulation Time I was very crampy and bloated. Sensitive nipples. Yea I guess I was more aware of my lower area and very sensitive.

I use PreMom (mainly because I can upload pictures of the opk sticks) and Period Tracker. It estimated my period by average of 40 days or so regardless of the Clomid. For premom I didn't upload any prior periods on purpose so I can guess what would happen during Clomid.

Also I use the MN app which lets me flip the thread to the end :)

@DobbieFreeElf we were the same....my 4 year old was conceived in about 4 months with no cycle tracking whatsoever and the daughter we lost was conceived the first month we tried.
I’m obviously older now, nearly 38 but I just feel like you something has ‘happened’ to my body and something isn’t quite right, despite what all the tests say.

I think we are going to do exactly the same, although I’m in two minds about swapping clinics as I’m just getting that feeling they don’t really seem to care......I’m actually planning to have a chat tonight with my husband about it and I might make a few phone calls tomorrow.

Did you get your test to do?

PS You mentioned about having horses.....I’m horsey too! Another thing in common!!

That's the same as me really, I had hot flushes in the middle of the night twice, but felt fine in general. I finished my last pill Saturday & had another hot flush last night. Feel fine today, ovarie area doesn't feel as sensitive today as it has done the past two days. Really hoping i ovulate this month 🤞🏻 .. did you have increased CM around ovulation?

I have the NM app too but don't have a clue what I'm doing on here really lol, what do I press so that I can go straight to the bottom of the thread instead of having to keep scrolling down?

@Rinoa also did your OH have a semen analysis prior to you starting your Clomid corse? If so did he have good swimmers, good count etc? X

After all that I’ve got the worst cramps and af has arrived, full force. I’m just not going to worry and carry on with the clomid pills I’ve started.

@CharlotteCx I wouldn't say increased Cm during ovulation I was just made aware of it since usually I don't have any EWCM at all. It was a nice surprise to see I at least had some this time!

On the upper right hand u should see 2 arrows going opposite just press that 😉

OH did have SA, not sure what the count was but doc said all good. Also I had loads of blood tests to check hormones etc. They also did a Hycosy to check my tubes, results were fine but I had a bad experience with the Hycosy! Was very painful for me, but was glad when it was over 😂

Ahhh okay! I bet you feel so relieved and so happy that your finally pg! Here's to praying for a healthy 9 months for you x how long was you trying before your Clomid?

I do have a little EWCM when I ovulate; haven't seen that CM since May though as my body likes to ovulate irregularly 😡.

It's the night to dtd tonight once Iv finished work Iv told OH to be ready for when I get home, talk about take the romance out of things when Ttc 🙈🤣

Quite a few people have said about the HSG being uncomfortable for them but I didn't find it painful at all, it took quite a while for them to do as they had to call a dr in for mine so I had 3 heads down there (dignity goes out the window) because dr said my curvix was quite low at the time or something. But my tubes were clear also thank god. I had my CD2 bloods done last week and my LH was 19, FSH 7.7, testosterone 1.9 & Oestradiol 1.48... the nurse said these levels were fine the only one that was slightly increased was the T. Did you have your CD2 bloods done this cycle?

@Dobbiefreeelf let’s try keep each other sane 😂 start 7.5 tomorrow for 5 days and sort of bricking it a little. I have the worst side effects ever and starting work tomorrow after maternity leave so dreading having to juggle everything.

My first round at 50mg didn't make me ovulate, and no AF by day 33. Today I've started my second cycle at 100mg but without a bleed ! My doctor is counting today as day 3. Has anyone else done something similar? Xx

@Helena112 nope but I actually was going to suggest this to my doctor if I didn’t bleed as I read a study suggesting higher rates of pregnancy as endometrial lining thicker

@Goingbacktokansascity I had read something similar. I really do hope it works as the NHS won't give me another round if I don't ovulate :( I took clomid at 4 this afternoon and already feel my ovaries twinging!

@Helena112 whilst I was panicking about the “have I completely f’ed up and taken this pill too early” I read a load of things saying that there have been studies to confirm you don’t need to have a period, as long as you didn’t ovulate during that cycle and you have a BFN before starting the course.

@Goingbacktokansascity don’t worry, the day will fly by! I loved bringing back to work as I was suddenly not “mum” or “wife” I was me again!

I take my clomid in the morning, I don’t feel like I get the side effects too badly but then I’m a power through and ignore what my body’s doing kind of girl!

@CharlotteCx thank u so much for that. It feels unreal. I am paranoid and hope the next 3 mo go by well so we're out of the woods. No cd2 scan. Only had scans after Clomid to monitor the follicles.

Ah wonder why I wasn't offered any scans! I have just done a opk cd 9, so I'm guessing too early but it had the faintest line. I've tried to attach a picture to this post but it says new users can't post pictures yet 🙈 .. I know it's far from positive but if it's got a faint line does that mean it's detected something happening? @Rinoa
