7 is great are you happy with that? It’s so hard to be patient though isnt it, such a rollercoaster.
I’m finally feeling better (pretty much) after EC whereas before I felt so ill I didn’t have the head space for the emotional side. Now I’m better I need to step away from the googling!! I’ve got my Sister in laws baby shower this weekend too...

@C88M I can fully relate with how ill you were and not having the emotional head space. When the embryologist called today I was slightly miffed that we were 10 down already- she also said that 3 of the 7 fertilised were slightly distorted. However, as bad as it sounds, I feel so bloated, crampy, gassy and god awful, that part of me thought 'whatever, I just want to feel well again!'
It sounds like some people breeze egg collection! I can't believe you've felt so poorly for this long- glad to hear you're feeling better now though!
The baby shower could be tough emotionally. Does anyone else going know your situation?

Hi everyone, I just had my FET. Successful thaw, so one embryo put back and 4 still in the freezer (from two previous fresh cycles).

Different doctor who preferred an empty bladder which is odd since the two previous ones wanted a semi full bladder for transfer. Also he didn't use an ultrasound to see where he was putting the embryo like the previous ones. Weird.

Anyway, I am not working today so gonna take it easy now.

Official test day is 6th November which is also my Dad's 75th birthday. I hope I have good news!

@pixiepal did you have your transfer today?

@C88M best advice for constipation I think is to drink 3 litres of water a day...

PixiePal · 25/10/2019 16:08

Lovely news to hear you've had transfer today @Thund4rcat. Hope you have a relaxing weekend ahead. I got call from embryologist today and got 3 really good looking embryos and the rest look ok- so they're leaving them till Monday for transfer. All being well, I'll probably test a similar time to you (9dp5dt, because there's no way I'll be patient enough to wait to the full 2 weeks!)

@PixiePal I was with my mum. It wasn’t too bad to be honest. Even if it doesn’t work for me I’m excited for a baby niece. Are you feeling any better?

I’ve spent the last few days researching how soon I can test and it not be the trigger! I’ve got loads of the cheap ones left over so I might just test on loads of them and at least them I’m prepared! Two weeks is so long...

@C88M pleased you had a nice time and that the weird hormones we're filling ourselves with didn't distort or spoil things for you (we've all been there, right? Lol)
When I did my successful cycle in 2014 I tested really early. Was getting BFN's till around 6-7 days post 5day transfer. Whilst that was disheartening, at least it showed trigger was gone...I was then getting really confusing faint lines, which got stronger each day. Remember the first wee of the day will contain the most hcg, so test then :)
I'm feeling so much better. A little tender, but so much better than I was. Transfer booked Monday AM

So I had a negative yesterday but today was a faint positive!!! Not getting my hopes up yet though will keep testing and see what happens. I feel tired and like I’ve been doing sit-ups.
@PixiePal good luck today

That all sounds really positive @C88M! 🤞🏼

Had 1 4AA grade blastocyst transferred today. Will find out if another 2 are suitable to freeze later xx

Oh that’s a great grade! I read that if they stick AA embryos have a 70% chance of being male. Thought that was interesting.

Fingers crossed for the other two.

PixiePal · 28/10/2019 18:15

Really? Wow, I'll google that now!
Had nothing to freeze unfortunately, so there's a lot resting on the AA one today! X

Oh that’s a shame but AA is a good chance so fingers crossed!
I feel like I’ve done 1000 sit-ups today Shock!

Hi All, hopefully I’m not too late to join this group. I’m currently on my first cycle of IVF and don’t really know what to expect. I’ve started my bemfola at 450 iu and I have a good Amy level and ovarian reserve only problem was with my husbands sperm quality. Has anyone been put on a high dosage of bemfola?

Many thanks to you all in advance xx

C88M · 29/10/2019 20:02

@PixiePal I confessed to my husband I had done them early (he wanted to wait) and he went out and got a 4 day early one that’s got a faint positive too. It wasn’t first morning wee though (and I’m weeing every half an hour Hmm). They’ll all very faint though still so not believing anything yet.

@Gursharankaur28 I was only on 150 bemfola as my AMH was 52 so they were worried about OHSS but the injections weren’t too bad once I got used to it (although my husband did them all cos I refused). How you feeling about it all?

Gursharankaur28 · 29/10/2019 20:16

@C88M I did my first bemfola yesterday and I'm an emotional wreck today. I wasn't sure why I'm on 450 iu but I'm back in the clinic on Friday to see how it's all growing. It's the most expensive drug so I don't know if they were just trying to squeeze more money out of me Confused

PixiePal · 29/10/2019 20:36

Welcome @Gursharankaur28
I'm not sure if Bemfola does the same as Menopur, but I was on 450iu of Menopur. I think many things can influence decision to give a higher dose. Are you in the >35 age bracket?

@C88M ohhh this is exciting! If you're getting faint lines it's very likely things have worked for you! Hopefully darker lines with tomorrow's first wee and a more sensitive test!! X

@PixiePal it's definitely bemfola. I'm currently 31, hopefully they'll put my dosage lower.

Hello everyone,
I’ve been following this thread as I’m on similar timelines to most of you (I think I’m three days behind PixiePal).
I’ve just come back from my ET, and they decided to put two 3-day embryos in.
A bit worried about the possibility of twins at my age (42), however, the embryologist explained that my chances are quite low overall (embryos not the best, my age etc).
Anyway, I just wanted to say, I hope you’re all okay and good luck to everyone.
