Afternoon all

Hope everyone had a good weekend? Mine was hectic as trying to study and get holiday ready!

@2fingers22018 I’m good thankyou I don’t think af is going to show tomorrow though which I’m a bit annoyed about as will now probably turn up on holiday! How are you?

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF oh no af on holiday is soo annoying especially if its sumwhere hot ewww lol im good thanks ive been looking into gettin a new dog feel like it will give me a positive distraction and someone to focus on other than myself lol

@2fingers22018 well hopefully it will hold of till I’m back but you know what it’s like when you don’t want it to turn up it bloody well does!! Awww a new doggy how lovely! Wouldn’t be with out mine! What are you thinking of getting?

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF i dnt know i cant make my mind up lol ive been lookin at rescue dogs but i dnt know if a pups a better idea and i could train it from the word go. I know its a lot to train a pup but at least i could get them brought up with my neices and nephews and teach them to b gd with kids. What type of dog do u have?

Ive seen a lot of little terriers but I do love a big fluffy dog haha

@2fingers22018 we have a rescue one he is an aylestone bulldog (you might have to google) we got him when he was 18 months and was fully trained and good with my dd who would of only been 5 but then he was brought up with kids so I know what you mean.

@2fingers22018 yes I'm ok, thanks for asking. Just in that weird frustrated stage waiting for September to roll around, bit wobbly but (get ready for tmi!) feeling slightly more human after the 1st dtd in about a year that wasn't timed for ovulation! I had genuinely forgotten that sex wasn't always a means to an end when a stick/calendar tells you to lol. Sorry, Tim I know but I don't have much else to be pleased about 🤣🤣 are you all psyched up and ready to start?! So exciting!

Speaking of exciting, congratulations guys!! It's so very sweet of you @veeboo to be mindful of us in terms of 'baby bombs' - its quite touching when anyone is sensitive about the subject, it happens so rarely, so thank you xx - but you don't need to worry. It's mostly positivity and relief when bfps happen on here, it renews my faith in doctors and the process, and I'm so delighted for you both ❤

@bunhead34 welcome! Sorry you're going through it, but happy to have you! I know literally FA about thyroid, but it sounds like a bugger, hope you're appointment shows up soon. Are you uk based? We don't get funding in my area but we got an appointment pretty quick so fx. How is your OH about it all?

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF my last dog was a rescue but seems like 99% of the rehoming centers say cant be rehomed with small children very frustrating, maybe the dogs they have are too lively for kids i dunno

@CloudsSway no such thing as tmi anymore lol its gd on the rare occasion it happens naturally isnt it? Sometimes i feel like ttc takes away any intimacy its like im tired not in the mood but i NEED to dtd so it starts to feel like such a bloody chore! Im excited but also gettin more nervous i told work ive got sum hosp appts comin up but i didnt say why i felt like cryin when i told them it was awkward😶and made all this feel even more real. I couldnt sleep last nite either my minds too busy atm x

@2fingers22018 sorry your feeling low when I’m tired it always make things feel a thousand times worse then normal! Only two more sleeps to go have loads to get done before hand!

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF yh the tiredness just makes me feel more stressed out oh well my friends comin over tonite to watch a boxset n get a dominos so that will b a nice distraction lol r u gettin excited to go i take it? lol think i need that a hol sumwhere sunny dnt get me wrong amsterdam was really fun but chillin on a sun lounger sounds very appealing

@2fingers22018 yes very excited to go! I do like city breaks but I love nothing more then a laying on a sun lounger watching the world go by! It is also my last day at my current job as well as an exam in 4 weeks and the impending fet I think all in all it’s a very busy time for us! That will be nice and I love a dominoes!!

I'm doing okay. Just a few minor symptoms so far. It's so early still I'm not sure I believe it yet.

@squirrelnutkins1 how are you? I know I know I’m literally bouncing of the walls lol! On another positive note af is in her way while it’s going to be on holiday for a few days am glad it’s here! Just needy meds to arrive now and I’m set to go in a few weeks!

I'm ok thanks. Feeling fairly positive this week so that's good. We've been dtd as much as we can. From cd6-17 (today) we've managed 8 times 👍🏻
