@veeboo I think it’s a bit different myself as we all came on here for support and it doesn’t just stop because you got your bfp. Others might disagree that’s just my thoughts! Like you say we are all pretty much doing something towards this journey even if it is different things but hopefully we will all get there!

I have my call in half an hour with the nurse to go through my plan and meds feeling excited but also very anxious and nervous about this transfer after last time

I agree with @FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF it's totally different to a normal baby bomb. It's taken a long time and a lot of heartache to get your bfp so personally I'd like to hear how you get on, symptoms, scans etc. (Not sure if everyone will agree.) but we've been here to support each other up until now so why not carry on? We're on thread 3 which shows how supportive everyone is 💕

@finallytakingtheplungewithivf good luck for your appointment. It's totally understandable you feel anxious. I saw something the other day which said "feeling anxious doesn't affect the outcome" and I thought that was so lovely. I'm wondering if it was in this thread actually! Hope everyone else okay.

@VenusStarr and @veeboo congrats! A nice welcome to the thread to see some BFP. How long have you both been trying?

I had my tests results a few months ago, all fine. And DH had his results a couple of weeks ago - also fine. I fell anxious just going to the dr to talk about it , it's so stupid

I am 34 soon to be 35 and have just done my 1st round of ICSI we have mfi which resulted in a bfp unfortunately ended at 5 weeks so I am sure you still have time on your side at 35 I am just waiting for af so I can start meds for my next fet.

Hi @bunhead34 I am 32 and partner 38. Ttc 18 months. We also had tests which came back clear but we also have issues with Erectile dysfunction so gave ourselves 6 months to keep trying before we went to IUI. That was supposed to be September. Did they advise you what's next for you?

Welcome @bunhead34. I'm 35 (36 at the end of the month), dh is 37. We've been trying just over 18 months all in. I concieved the week our fertility referral was sent off in February but had a missed miscarriage in April. Luckily we hadn't cancelled our fertility process so were seen in May.

I have lots of fibroids but none are the bad kind / cause difficult symptoms. I had a hsg (dye in tube) test in June (was very painful!) and concieved on the second cycle after that. We did throw everything at it, I was temping, using opks and we did the sperm meets egg plan.

Sorry forgot to say spoke with the nurse everything good to go once af arrives! She will sort my prescription out and then meds will be sent! Hopefully not to long a wait for af!

Got my phone call today and my meds are being delivered on the 19th I was soo excited I should have wrote it all down but I was walking the dogs when they called.

I’m 28 and my DP is 29 - ttc over 2 years now. MFI - going for our first cycle of ICSI. Also early menopause runs in my family (think 38-42) so another reason why we getting this on earlier as my ovarian reserve is on the lower side. This thread is fantastic and supportive!

I had the dr today. She has given me a higher dose of levothyroxine as my TSH level was not quite right (have tried a lower dose previously but it's not quite there yet)

And have been reffered to the fertility clinic, now I guess we just wait for an appointment!

@bunhead34 that sounds positive. How are you feeling about it? I think most of us here are passed the first fertility appointment stage so ask away if you have questions. I personally found the process positive and reassuring. I've also heard good things about women getting pregnant once their thyroid is sorted. Fx for you.

Yes - first I need to get out of bed. As I am in such a disgusting bad mood. I’m finding it hard with my best friend (mentioned her baby bomb) wanting to talk about it all with me. Hard to be upbeat and hide my feelings.
We are going away later today which I can’t wait for.

Don’t get me wrong I love all the chat and find it exciting for her: but it just upset me yesterday. And I don’t know why haha

@GreyC I'm sorry hun ☹️ not easy is it. It's bitter sweet. You're happy for her but sad for you. I was talking to my counsellor yesterday about this. Here's some counsellor speak for you... it's ok for those two feelings to coexist.
I worry it makes me a bad person for finding sadness in someone else's joy but it's ok to feel how you feel (more counsellor speak there for you!!)

Im the exact same with my sis being pregnant i feel like im avoiding her ALOT and its breakin my heart its not fair on her, but i feel like she isnt bein very supportive to my situation IVF to her is not a big deal its all rainbows and sunshine and i ll b pregnant before i know it! Im happy for her but its hard not to resent her sometimes i feel like if I was in her situation id be more sensitive to it @FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF hows u today? @Kelly199 hope ur k? @bunhead34 welcome everyone is soo nice on this thread the support is amazing x

Much, my level is in the normal
Range (2.5?) but ideally you want it to be under that for TTC 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't know much about it tho, I had to dig out my 21 day results and remind myself what it all

Yesterday spent the day with a friend and her beautiful baby girl 😭 so happy
For her but also so jealous! And seeing DH with her is bitter sweet too - he is so good with kids and they love him 😭

Anyway just entering the FW so need to get some energy to BD, been so over it lately
