Nice slender lining or still podgy (like my stomach from Xmas! 😆) Love your with/without attitude, reminds me that even though this has been our sole focus for so long, if it doesn't work out it actually is an option to call it a day! I genuinely forget that sometimes
I am twiddling my thumbs until af shows up. Should have been yesterday according to my usual period length, but I got EWCM late so if I go on that it won't be until next Wednesday. Then I call the clinic, they scan me next day to check my lining, then I start my new drugs! 👍 instead of twiddling my thumbs I should be practicing my plaits, but dammit I'm so very bad at them!!

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF brilliant that you kept off the weight over Xmas, that is impressive!! My diet is going great, ate a whole block of brie with crisps last night 😖😜😆

Sounds like you're in the process of making some big decisions @FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF ❤️ I'm sure things will start to become clear as the new year plays out 🤞🏻

My diet sounds about as good as yours @CloudSway! 😂 We literally ate a cheese board for lunch today 🧀😬 The scan went as well as it could thanks - lining was 1.5mm and they gave me my first gonal-F jab there and then 💉 My next scan is on Tuesday and EC should be in about 10 - 12 days from now (cue me manically checking my calendar to second guess if it might clash with other appointments and if I should start cancelling them already?!?! 🤯). It's kind of crazy to think that this should all be over and done with within 3 weeks 🔮

Uncertain times here. Had a fresh red bleed yesterday at 5+4. HCG is good for dates at nearly 9000 and I feel constantly sick. Scan today inconclusive (expected due to dates). Gestational sac and yolk sac visible but no fetal pole. So it is a long wait for scan next Friday. Bleeding settled but still crampy

@Anaesthetist83 sorry to hear this, have they booked you for a follow up scan? Both my friends bled right up until 10 weeks, worried them sick but all was fine, I hope this is just that xx

@Bambionice80 this cheese diet is really taking off... How are you finding the injections? Are you on 2 a day, or do you replace the Buserelin with Gonal? Wow, 3 weeks isn't long! Do you intend to have fresh or frozen transfer? Did you get your wish of ICSI in the end, I remember a lot of conversations about slutty/boiled eggs but can't remember the outcome! Sorry, 20 questions lol.

I’ve got my original viability scan a week today. Rationally I know bleeding is common but I think we have to prepare ourselves for the worst. I think this is going to be a horrendous week of uncertainty. I feel sick, but have done since day 5 post transfer, so that’s not really reassuring.

I'm really, really hoping that it turns out to be normal bleeding @Anaesthetist83 🍀🍀🍀

The injections are turning out to be no big thang to be honest @CloudSway , which has been a nice surprise! 😄 I'm not needle phobic at all, so thought I would be fine, but still nice for everything to be OK at the moment 👌 I am indeed having to do both buserelin and gonal-f jabs, but I've got the nice pen thingy for the latter so that's been really straight forward 👍 All being well we'll be doing a fresh cycle, but I'm really hoping for one or more frosties too 🤞🏻🔮🤞🏻🔮 The clinic have said that we can do a split cycle (50%IVF & 50% ICSI) if we get 8-10 eggs or more and as long as DP's forward motility is within the reference range (twice it has been, but last time it was 💩). If there's less than 8 eggs and/or if DP's forward motility is 💩 again then we'll do ICSI only... I'm totally going to have to do DP a flow chart for this to liase with the embryologist at EC because I'll still be smacked off my tits on fentanyl when this discussion has to take place! 🥴😣 My inner control freak is going to massively struggle with that! 🤯

... So. In conclusion - I'm still obsessing about slutty/hardboiled eggs being an issue and will be putting in fail-safes to try and avoid a failed cycle due to the above 😉

I'm doing okay @CloudSway thank you. Things have only really just started sinking in but all ticking along. How are you? What's happening for you at the moment?

Just checking in to say hi, really not in a great headspace at the moment. I think new year and moving away from my babies affected me. I'm seeing our fertility doctor a week on Tuesday so really hoping for a plan.

Things are not good. Bleeding daily, although not a lot. Totally exhausted and struggling to remain positive. It’s going to be a long week until our scan on Friday

So in desperation, we booked a private scan this evening. Absolutely in shock (and delighted) to see a fetal heart beat. Honestly can’t believe it. Can go to our proper scan on Friday with a little more confidence. Phew

@Bambionice80 good to hear you are taking the needles in your stride, I'm so jealous - I thought i was fine with needles until i started doing them myself lol. I like the flow chart plan, and I like that you are covering every eventuality, sounds perfect actually. DH says I'm worrying too much, but I don't feel like all the appropriate people know our wishes which are similar to yours (use whatever fresh sperm we have, then thaw 50% of each frozen sample in turn until they have enough) so I was going to write it down... too much do you think?! 🤯🤪😂 Did you have your next scan yesterday?

@veeboo I can't imagine how you must feel after waiting so long, it must be hard to get your head around 😊 I had a cycle cancelled 2 days before ec in November, but doing round 2 as short protocol. And it looks like I am having a visit from af today so will be calling this afternoon 👍 they want to scan before I start the drugs so hopefully I'll be up and running to start tomorrow. 2nd time lucky! 🤞

Need to vent even though we are quiet on here nowadays.
My last close friend who didn’t have children is now pregnant. And obviously that means I cried in the toilet to hide from DP as he hates it when I’m upset over something that perceives he is the reason. MFI

I hate myself for how I feel. I feel so bitter and twisted.

I have no support network left as everyone is either pregnant or has babies. They don’t understand anymore. My very pregnant friend today when I said I was struggling with it all just said oh well you are losing weight now so that’s good and twisted it into a feel sorry for me because I’m pregnant type thing
Sorry for unloading here but I have no where else left to do it
