New March/April IVF thread.

I'm Alice, 34, TTC1 for 3 years 4 months. Currently 4 days into a short ivf protocol with max dose of stims as my AMH ran away last year. Its my only NHS funded cycle and my last chance to have a child that's genetically mine. /fingers crossed/

@AliceAbsolum glad to hear your embies are doing well! I was advised light exercise and no more than 3 caffeinated drinks per day. I did try and quit caffeine altogether but that was too hard so now I have one cup of tea per day!

Bad news for us today. Had our second scan and it showed no heartbeat. All stopped a day after our first early scan at 7w3d. Absolutely devastated. Having a surgical procedure to remove it all tomorrow morning. We both cried out eyes out. And now just getting loads of cuddles from our little DD who seems more and more precious in these shitty situations like this. It reminds me how lucky we were a couple of years ago and fell pregnant first time with IUI. She's so special I can't describe it.

Girls! Tonight is trigger night! My boobs sting everything hurts, I cannot wait for Friday! I’m so scared and excited. I dreamt about trigger all night and woke up in a sweat!

I am really sore on one side, and not feeling up to walking very far. It’s the side I had a cyst which was aspirated, came back before EC and was then drained again. I’m hoping it’s nothing untoward.

Im new hope im in correct chat 🤦‍♀️
I started icsi last month had 5 day transfer on 21st april am struggling with 2ww so hard to know if its worked or just hormanes from pessaries im taking
Any tips

Hi @journey18 welcome to the board! You’re in the right place. I’m just going through my first round of ivf so I don’t have any advice re symptoms but the ladies here are all at different stages and I’m sure will give you lots of advice. Hang on in there! When is test day? X

I’m having a big wobble tonight.
Have period type pains.
My period is due in 6 days and I feel like AF is on her way.
I’ve always known that it was more likely not to happen than happen but you still hope for the best.
