New March/April IVF thread.

I'm Alice, 34, TTC1 for 3 years 4 months. Currently 4 days into a short ivf protocol with max dose of stims as my AMH ran away last year. Its my only NHS funded cycle and my last chance to have a child that's genetically mine. /fingers crossed/

@hopingforbabyd thank you! I’m feeling pretty sore. I walked to the end of the road late this afternoon to get milk then had to have a lie down to recover. I’m on pessaries now, which officially means that I officially no longer need to drag myself out of bed to take meds earlier than I’d like.

I’m sure your meds will be fine for tonight, but I’d suggest you check with the clinic if you need to use the same pen tomorrow.

@sorka Hope you feel better today. I've woken up a bit delicate but much better than yesterday.

Anxiously waiting to hear if any of the 4 have fertilised. If not its game over for my genes 😐

I just had a call from the clinic. 7 have fertilised. Just a waiting game now.

I’m feeling sore and delicate, but much better than yesterday.

Amazing news @AliceAbsolum and @Sorka

I just thought I’d give an update it is definitely game over, but im feeling much better today. Next step is to meet with the clinic and discuss future options and whatever they may be I know me and DH will be fine. He has been my rock. I might not comment much but will follow your progress and sincerely hope that you all get your happy ending 😘

Sorry to hear that @2019isouryear wishing you the best of luck in the future. I don't know if you have already tried DHEA supplements but it might be worth discussing with your clinic if you go for another cycle. Be kind to yourself. x

2019.... oh.... sending hugs.

Today we have had our other blast graded as the ones put back in yesterday were hatching blastocysts. The third one has come back as being of good quality too. So fingers crossed.

Just had another call from the clinic. All 4 doing well, 3 at 4 cells I think she said. Going into blastocyst culture and won't hear anything now until Saturday morning when we go in for transfer. Nerve wracking much!

Just catching up. What a brilliant start to the day @AliceAbsolum!

And @Wesstywoo OTD just makes it all the more real. Enjoy every moment!!

I had my 8 week scan on Monday and we had a little wriggly baby on board. Have been discharged from the unit and all my patches and pessaries stopped Confused

@Twiglet2353 so happy for you! Did they refer you back to your gp? I bet it's a bit daunting being discharged from them but at the same time a great milestone!
