New March/April IVF thread.

I'm Alice, 34, TTC1 for 3 years 4 months. Currently 4 days into a short ivf protocol with max dose of stims as my AMH ran away last year. Its my only NHS funded cycle and my last chance to have a child that's genetically mine. /fingers crossed/

I know!! its going to feel like days! I got a bfp on thurs, fri and sat but i still feel i can't really believe it until the clinic confirms it

@DaisyMay25 not yet, it's Wednesday - I have tested early (Saturday was the last time) and it was positive but I was stressing about the strength of the lines so I've promised DH I won't test again until Wednesday. Feel much better for it too!

@Wesstywoo not long to go now then! I know what you mean about the stressing though, it's hard not too. Is it a blood test or just an at home test?

All was fine. Proper anxiety going down, but was OK. Got my own room so I'm happy.

Waiting on the embryologist. Eep.

Looking forward to hearing how we all got on.

Not great news for me ladies ET didn’t go ahead this morning, embryos not playing ball unfortunately. They are giving 2 an extra 24 hours, but chances are low. Never felt so devastated but u know that I’ll be fine in the end. Wishing u all the best of luck x

They’re on day 5 so definitely no transfer. The only chance is them being ok to freeze tomorrow which I know is slim. I need to accept that it’s not going to happen for me. We will meet with the clinic to discuss future options, not sure I’m ready to close the door, but we would need to go private and we don’t have a pot of cash. This journey has definitely been a roller coaster. x

@2019isouryear so sorry. Make sure when you go back to the clinic you have a list of all your questions. It's not the end of the road though, I know some clinics offer payment plans so you don't have to pay upfront? Don't give up Thanks

@2019isouryear don't give up yet. I hear of plenty making it on day 6 and I had one make it on day 6. Won't they do a fresh transfer on day 6?

@2019isouryear so sorry to hear that, i hope they progress some more over the next 24 hours and you can atleast freeze a few, if not hope the clinic can give you some answers. It really is a rollercoaster!! Thinking of you xx

@DaisyMay25 it's a home test - my clinic doesn't do a blood test for some reason!
