Hi ladies
I’m hoping to find a cycle buddy or anyone who has been through IVF before. We are due to have our appointment for our plan at the end of next week and I just wanted to hear any stories/advice anyone may have as my mind is very busy with questions.
A little background from me, I’m 28 and been trying to conceive for 3 years now. Last year I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis which sadly affected both of my tubes. I’ve had them removed in November and all endo has been removed. We have been told the chances of conception are against us due to the severity of my condition but I’m holding onto hope. Are there any ladies who have similar stories who can give me a little encouragement? I’m quite nervous to start IVF but excited at the idea this could be our chance!

My wife took a few sachets of lactulose after she had her egg collection as she was..bunged up (tmi sorry) Blush and it did the trick for her. Although it tasted awful it did help a lot.

@Nemo1189 I've read about that one online, will ask tomorrow at the clinic if it's okay. Our poor poor bodies!
@AnnaSteen I've asked DH to pick me some prune juice up on his way home

Have you tried fybogel? It’s really good used to help me when I had really bad endo flare and couldn’t go 😳🙈 x

Omg omg omg I got a BFP! Very strong line too! I am so excited, keep crying tears of relief.

@thund4rcat congratulations! So excited for you :) I tested this morning also, a bfp here too. Exciting stuff! Im only 9dp5dt so it needs to keep sticky for OTD on Tuesday next week x

@LeanneMFord I had baseline on day 1 and was told to start, then I also on day 11 but my lining was too thin so I had to carry on with some extra meds for another 5 days and that fixed it xx

BFN for me this morning on OTD. On my way in to work at the moment, hoping I can keep it together. We’re devastated - DH and I have already have a bit of a cry together. A very large glass of wine later for me.

@Brambles7 so sorry to hear this. Wine sounds like a good idea. After my first cycle failed I think I started on the wine pretty quickly... Hope you feel OK about it soon. It is so hard when it doesn't work x

It was a negative again for me. We are gutted and I’m feeling slightly disillusioned why it keeps failing for me over and over with good quality embryos. I’m really sorry you are in the same boat @Brambles7. Sending you a big hug x

Can you get off work and spend the day with your partners?
