Anyone about to start IVF

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is about to start IVF. Would be good to go through this journey with someone/people. Share experiences etc.

I had the second beta back from my clinic and it has confirmed a chemical. Onwards!

Leah I hope you get some great eggs! I was so nervous about my egg collection but it really was ok. My only tip is make sure you drink loads in the days afterwards and get yourself some prune juice - I was really constipated!

Did a test tonight on a whim (10dp5dt) and got a faint bfp. It’s definitely there. Hoping it will be darker in the morning. So don’t give up til you have your beta! Mine is Thurs. Eek.

Started spotting this afternoon. I know it can happen and be ok, but obviously am worried it might be a chemical. Argh. The rollercoaster continues eh!

kjackson no, I’m afraid with ivf I thought the one silver lining is you could sack off all the temperature taking and ovulation pee stick stuff.

Well I was doing ok, but I did do it the last 3 days and now it has suddenly dropped this morning which has sent me in to panic mode and thinking it hasn't worked and spent most the day crying! I'm actually dreading doing the test Friday as fearing it will be negative xx

Awwww bless you. I thought bbt was just to see if you’ve ovulated? And if you’re on progesterone wouldn’t that affect bbt anyway? I wouldn’t set too much store by it at all. Mine was always all over the place but all my blood tests showed I ovulated fine so that’s why I ditched it. Hope you feel better, the tww is very emotional x

Yeah it's meant to help with ovulation so that's out the window as this is different, and the progesterone probably doesn't help! I have done so well to try and not let it get to me but these last few days seem the hardest x

They really are. I’m so glad I have my blood test tomorrow so I can at least know where I stand. Still spotting so am not hopeful but I’d rather just know than have it drag out for ages. Everything crossed for you for Friday 🤞

Result is in....it is positive, but it is a bit low. It was 108 and they want to see 150, so I have to go back Sat morning for another test. Come on little bean, hang in there!

@trying You we’re right it really wasn’t that bad, just a painful tummy today as expected but thankfully I’m working from home today and tomorrow.
They took 9 eggs and we got the call this morning that 5 have fertilised :-)
So keeping everything crossed 🤞🏼 for them xx
