Anyone about to start IVF

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is about to start IVF. Would be good to go through this journey with someone/people. Share experiences etc.

Kjackson I didn't have any implantation bleeding. So stay positive x

Well I got an equally faint bfp on a first response this morning but a negative on a clear blue digi. Plus cramps like AF Aus on the way. Pretty sure this is a chemical - have emailed my clinic to ask if I can come in for a beta.

Has anyone reached the half way point of the tww and felt very emotional as your not sure if it has worked or not?

Me too. I’m not feeling v hopeful tbh, but struggling to sleep as the uncertainty is playing on my mind. Would rather just know it hasn’t worked and find out when we can try again. 6dp5dt today and really feel like AF is on the way.

Are any of you going to test earlier?

6 days today and mean to test on Friday so might text a day or two earlier

I’ve been testing already. I know it’s early but I’ve got a load of internet cheapies with short dates so thought I’d use them up. Nothing so far but at least I know the trigger is out of my system. I’m just gonna test each day and see what happens.

Just realised my last post didn't make much sense
I think I will test a couple of days earlier. If I could cope with a negative result, I would start testing now!

@PonyPals I'm meant to test next Friday as well today is 5 days isn't it?

Just got my results back from clinic. My hcg is only 3 which they think means early days but I know I’ve been getting bfps for 3 days now so I think my hcg is falling rather than rising. So I think it’s 99.99% confirmed as a chemical - I’m out of this round!

Thanks rational. I’m afraid that’s it for me this round - but I still have some frozen embryos left so I’ll just figure out when to go again.

Will be cheering for you guys to get your bfps though! Keeping everything crossed x

Thanks herewego. I’m ok. Sad and disappointed but I have frozen embryos so I can have another go. Onwards! Wishing you all the best for the future too.

kjackson My OTD is thurs. Been testing daily since 4dp5dt and all bfn, so am not hopeful. I know it’s still too early to be sure. I’m ok tho, we are fortunate to have 2 more attempts.

I'm on 7dp5dt and it's bfn... not holding out much hope.

@PonyPals don't be down, I read that it would be too early for us to take a test as hcg has only just started being released Tuesday would be the earliest I have read- have you read this

How is everybody doing?

Had another scan today and were all good to go with egg collection on Wednesday afternoon... feeling quite nervous and excited at the same time!
