Thanks Slady. OH's sperm are fine. I had the tube test and they were fine too.

That's good shortgreengiraffe ...perhaps they just think you aren't ovulating as well as you could be then. Its worth asking when you see them again though. Will you be monitored?

Thanks for replying SLady. Hopefully that's the case. I don't know if I'll be monitored - it wasn't mentioned. I find no one really tells you anything at appointments. Thanks goodness for mumsnet.

shortgreengiraffe you haven't already seen a specialist at a fertility clinic then hopefully they will be more helpful. I had all my tests done with the GP so she could complete my referral form and then I was prescribed the Clomid at the fertility clinic. Arm yourself with a list of questions for your next appt, I always do!

Thanks. It was the specialist I saw who is going to ask GP to prescribe clomid assuming final bloods don't reveal anything else. I'll ask the GP but then I am just going to roll with it as I don't have any other options.

Feeling very crampy today

So after 5 months of anovulatory cycles I booked an appt at gp, to discuss lack of ovulation, then this happens! Fingers crossed this is my month and I can keep the appt and tell gp I’m pregnant instead!!

Hi all, Day 9 of 150mcg Clomid here. I've got my scan on Tuesday so hopefully, we'll see a big egg ready to go but i'm trying to not get much hope up.

I'm currently on CD16, I had a lot of EWCM 3 days ago and I'm feeling cramping and bloating today, the pain is going to my lower back, I hope it's a good sign ☺️

It's so hard not to think about it but I'm keeping busy haha x

Yay horton a 150mg buddy!! How many cycles of 150mg have you done? I'm on my first cycle of 150 and had a scan CD13 and I had a 20mm follie but now I'm wondering if it popped as I've had no symptoms! Did you have any reaction on 50/100??

SLady ; first round at 150 too. I've had eggs before but they've all been hit and miss. On my first round of 100 I had a 21mm egg on day12, then nothing at all for the other 2 cycles.

I've got my scan on Tuesday where we'll see what it brings. Good luck everyone!

I've never been scanned before this round so I have no idea what I was doing before. But my blood tests were less than 1! Did you ovulate with the 21mm follicle? I'm hoping 150mg works but starting to get a bit worried if it doesnt. Has your doctor talked about next steps horton?

I had to call the hospital about my progesterone supplements on Friday and they have said for my next round to take 150mg dose but didn’t have any reason why so not sure what I’ll do!

I’m in Essex and would like to meet up too ☺️

People that are on Clomid - how long did it take from your GP referral to actually starting the drugs? I presume there are waiting lists and tests in between and don't want to have unrealistic expectations (assuming the GP refers me!).

Eeeks not too long now Sunny I've really got my fingers crossed for you. I've got good vibes for you this month! My 2ww is dragging so much! That's weird they are putting you on 150mg if you're ovulating on the 100mg. I'd want a reason for increasing the dose I think, as might make your lining worse taking a stronger dose when you don't need to? If they can give a reason then least you can take that on board.

Hope I went to see the doctor in January and I had my appt with the fertility clinic in May. My tests through the GP all went really quickly but there was a long wait to see a consultant

I am on CD16 and had a positive OPK yesterday, been for reflexology today so feeling good this cycle!

Hows the 2ww @Sunny? Are you symptom spotting like mad?

@Hopeislost Mine was relatively quick once i was referred, it was getting my GP to refer me which took the time. Although as I had lots of tests and scans done at the GP the consultant prescribed me clomid at my first appointment which i was relieved about.

I know I said to the nurse why and she was like well it’s your last cycle so you may as well try!! I’m not sure yet whether I will or not!

I’m really not feeling like this is my month although we had the most sex over the fertile window and my lining was good I’m just not thinking it’s going to work 😕 I’ve started to get some cramps today so waiting for the inevitable!

Hope* i first saw the Gp in October then the Consultant in December I think of my hycosy hadn’t failed in the January I’d have been prescribed Clomid then. I had to then wait for an op and wouldn’t have got Clomid on the NHS until the July!! So I think it really depends on lots of factors.

SLady - Yes, I ovulated but i'm not having a lot of success with actually making eggs as even on 100mcg I've had no eggs. I'm just not stable! My first pregnancy, I needed just one! They said that they'll talk to us about the next stage when we get there and to not think about it until we get there.

Hopeislost - I'm abroad so slightly different. Mine was within a month.

I'm with you on that sunny not even sure i ovulated & no symptoms whatsoever just feels like all my other cycles. Not feeling confident. When are you going to test?

Horton sounds confusing. So much to consider it makes me feel like it'll be a miracle to ever happen!

@SLady try and look at it this way, even if you don't catch this month at least you know the clomid is working in making that nice big folli! Think of it as this is your first real month you were in with a chance and it's rare ''normal' 'couples catch on their first month trying anyway!

Anyone else have sore nipples after ovulation? I had a positive OPK on Sat and since then my nipples are sooo sore! Even putting my bra on hurt!

Sorry I’m late but SLady good news on a nice big folli! So this is the first month of “normal” chances which is great!

A crappy month for me. I’m now on CD day 42 and AF is 14 days late. (BFN)
Also got gifted TMI a bout of Thrush this week which was a nice surprise ! No real trigger or reason for it. Just obviously something is not happy down there... hormones.. PH imbalance.. who knows.

I’ve really upped my conception vitamins and self-care/diet. Just begging for AF to arrive now so I can at least try again to see if I ovulate next month.

Only positive is I have a new doctors appointment/review on 11th Dec.

AmyL I get the sorest nipples really soon after ovulation last month they were so bad a was convinced I had to be pregnant!!

SLady I tested yesterday and BFN 😕 I wasn’t going to but I didn’t want to get my hopes up again like last month.

I’m feeling so shit today as I rally feel like I potentially only have one more shot at it and I’m starting to think that maybe something else is wrong. Why is this so tough?!!

Hi Ladies I haven't posted in a while been out the loop waiting for a refferal to the fertility clinic. Saw a nurse specialist who has asked me to have a whole host of new tests, I will then have an appointment with a consultant in the new year. They've said that because we have already conceived and have 1 child they may not fund even metformin on nhs... feel so sad as he was our miracle and we so much want a sibling to join him. Anyway they recommended inofolic... has anyone else tried this? Xx
