Current temp chart is looking like this. Now day 16 and still high so not feeling hopeful for a peak this cycle either. The rise on my chart makes me think I could have possibly ovulated around day 12 which does fit in with the weird back pain and bloating I had the next day.

Any temp tracking experts? I've been doing it for a ridiculously long time now and still don't really get it!

Kt to me it looks like u may have ovulated cd12. The rise and fall at start is just the clomid intake which effects the temps. Because you have continued to rise from cd12 I'd say that looks very promising!
I always found that day 5 , 7 or 9 dpo (after ovulation) I had a slight dip. Apparently it's common so look out for that too.

What's your temps when u have ovulated before? Are they usually quite low?

Thanks for the advice Footy! Really helpful.

This is last month's chart. The app seems to think I'm ovulating, just hope it's right!

Summer, that's amazing. Congratulations!

otters2017 · 29/04/2017 16:10

Congratulations summer that's fantastic news !! You must be over the moon

Ktmp · 29/04/2017 23:26

Yay Summer!!!! Congratulations!!

SummerHopin · 30/04/2017 08:00

Thank you. I can't believe it. It doesn't feel real.
I'm also petrified as it happened first time. Like it won't stick or something. I know it sounds silly to still be looking at the negatives after getting the result I wanted, I think it's just fear.
Will be staying around though f that's ok, just to see how you ladies get on.

KP86 · 30/04/2017 08:34

Summer, I remember with DS feeling similar. And at six or so weeks I had a few spots of blood in my pants and I was worried.

Then when we reached that magical 22 (or maybe 24?) week mark when a birth would mean they would have to try to save the baby, I really felt like I relaxed a lot.

I wasn't a particularly anxious pregnant person, although I did follow every single rule out there!! He was not easy to come by so I didn't want to risk anything at all.

Chances of it going well are much higher than the chances of something bad happening.

Footy1 · 30/04/2017 09:18

BearStarBearStaroh wow! Congratulations!! That's fantastic news. So so pleased. Yay first success on this new thread!! Xxx

What days did you dtd summer? Any top tips?

SummerHopin · 30/04/2017 11:33

Thanks everyone.

KP thank you. I know I'll feel better when I'm a bit further down the line and probably after that first scan. The test said 1-2 so it is super early. Tested again this morning just to check I hadn't been wrong and there was another cross so I felt better then. Am basically going to be a Stacey from Gavin &a Stacey I think and have quite a test collection going!!

SummerHopin · 30/04/2017 11:38

Ktmp, I will be honest and say I didn't track this cycle can you believe! I had the 16mm follicle on cd16 and so we were told it would probably be approx cd20. We simply DTD eod from then for a good 10 days, with a few
Bonus shags when I had EWCM too.
We used preseed as well to give us a hand - not the syringes just the lube itself.
In terms of diet and supps I also didn't do tonnes. I take natural folates rather than folic acid as it is supposed to be better absorbed, but I had pomegranate juice each day to build up my lining. I'm on metformin and having a semi good diet-but I was no saint. In fact, I've had more chocolate this last month than anything as I've been comfort eating a bit.
I have noticed that my skin is super dry at the moment so I have had an oil supp too as I think it might be a sign.

Sorry for the essay! Hope that helps x

Thanks Summer!

Day 18 here and still only high fertility on the monitor. Not had chance to double up with IC as I'm away for the weekend with my mum for her birthday (and could do without an interrogation). App now says I ovulated on day 15 based on my temps which isn't the best (If correct) as we only dtd day 14 at night and day 16 first thing as I was leaving for the weekend.

Spent the last few days with my brother and his family - three year old nephew and my pregnant sister in law. Not been easy to hold it together at all.

SummerHopin · 02/05/2017 12:57

Sorry to hear that KT, hope you managed to get some time to yourself over the weekend.

ALso dont panic too much about your DTD days. I would say if you get the day before and after thats pretty good odds! You dont know when on that day it would have been anyway so as long as there was something there to meet it you shouldnt have skuppered any chances.

Ktmp · 02/05/2017 19:23

Thanks Summer! Trying not to focus too much on the app, it's now wiped out any ovulation pattern due to a dip in temperature today (day 19 and still high 😤). How are you feeling?

Footy1 · 02/05/2017 20:11

It's hard ktmp but we mustn't lose hope.
Yes agree I think you will have covered it. Tww here u go..

So cd1 at last! Roll on new cycle. Confused

Thanks Footy. Now day 20 and still high, told husband he's buying the next month's box of per sticks!

Today's temp has put the ovulation back onto day 15, such a guessing game! Husband is on a stag do from tomorrow for 4 days so no more bd until next cycle.

Ktmp · 03/05/2017 07:47

How long did that make your cycle Footy?

How long did that make your cycle Footy?

KP86 · 03/05/2017 07:56

How much are the digital testers? I haven't looked and have only used ICs, which are about 10 or 20p each.

Ktmp · 03/05/2017 13:04

I got the monitor and pack of 20 tests for £85 but I did see cheaper. The boxes of 20 tests are around £30 on eBay. You're only supposed the need 10 per cycle but I've had to use 20 two cycles running as I'm not getting a peak.

KP86 · 03/05/2017 13:09

Oh, wow. That is expensive! Especially for clomid/PCOS women because as most of us have seen you can get a few highs and no peaks in your cycle due to the messed up hormones.
