Sammylou sorry to crash the thread, but I was just reading about your lining question and wanted to chip in as I’ve had some similar issues
I’ve had persistent thin lining issues, and quite a bit of what you’ve mentioned sounds familiar.
I had a very low BMI until fairly recently - a year ago I had a BMI of under 17.5, and only recently got to a BMI of 19. I was also on the pill for years and years, and was also told that both could well be a factor in my thin lining.
My Dr told me 7mm was his absolute minimum thickness for transfer, but liked it to be closer to 8mm ideally. During my first IVF cycle in Sept / Oct last year, my lining was just above the min at my last scan before trigger - however 2 days later on EC day my lining had gone backwards by over 1mm to just 6.4mm
We ended up having to freeze-all anyway, as my DH was ill on the day and we had issues with a fresh sample, so the eggs had to go straight into the freezer unfertilised.
I’ve just started a second fresh cycle (I have very low AMH, so we decided to try and do another round of stims to try and get another crop of eggs, in the hope that we can have a better shot at getting some decent embryos) - we plan is to add in some progynova whilst I’m stimming, and am desperately hoping my lining thickens up enough to be able to have a fresh transfer.
How is your lining outside of IVF? My lining has been completely crap in my natural cycles too, it seems I just don’t produce enough oestrogen by myself. I’m really hoping that I respond to the oestrogen pills and / or patches - apparently treatments like vaginal viagra can be used for unresponsive lining, am hoping it doesn’t come to that!
Wishing you lots of luck for your FET, hope you get a lovely thick, cushiony lining xx
