I think Murray is great, and there's nothing wrong with his touch of British reserve. Can't wait!

Bucharest · 19/06/2009 14:05

S'not reserve, t'is arsey-ness
Has he still got that bumfluff thing going on?

slayerette · 19/06/2009 14:11

Is Nadal pulling out?

But whose biceps talented playing will I admire now?

moopymoo · 19/06/2009 14:14

think nadal has knee trouble announcing today if he is playing. I know, his arms are erm, absorbing

Bucharest · 19/06/2009 14:28

I could rub it better?

Frasersmum123 · 19/06/2009 14:52

Murray deserves to win! Go Andy

BunnyLebowski · 19/06/2009 16:19

It's the only way a brit could win Wimbledon. I stopped watching it years ago when I got sick of Sue Barker/Richard Castle's endless verbal blow jobs to the talentless dweeb that is Tim Henman.

Go Nadal.

Ceebee74 · 19/06/2009 16:23

Tis my fave 2 weeks of the year - I can't wait!!

Besides, this season, Nadal is wearing tops with sleeves so can't drool over admire his biceps (I have been watching far too much tennis whilst off on mat leave )

I really do hope Murray wins - I agree that he is turning into quite a pleasant young man now - and who cares about his personality anyway, surely it is his tennis talent that is important???

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 19/06/2009 16:23

Cheers Bunny.

applauds bunny. henman SUCKED.

littlelamb · 19/06/2009 16:27

Ah yes, the annual 'let's build Henman up and then act surprised when he loses his nerve spectacuarly' thing got a bit yawnsome

BunnyLebowski · 19/06/2009 16:28

For what FBG? Just my tuppence'worth.

Feel free to believe he really was as good as Sampras, Hewitt, Ivanisevic etc and was just "unlucky"

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 19/06/2009 16:30

I never said that.

Just don't see why you have to be so critical.

OP posts:
littlelamb · 19/06/2009 16:31

Because that's the nature of sport. Why should we be nice just because he's British. Henman was never a brilliant player (says I sat on my fat arse on the sofa). Ivanisevic, I remember when he won, that was brilliant

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 19/06/2009 16:36

I just hate the putting down of Brits all the time.

OP posts:
Frasersmum123 · 19/06/2009 16:37

I agree with Bunny - Henman always seem to try his hardest but it was painful to watch at times.

FabBakerGirlIsBack - are you Lucy Henman?

expatinscotland · 19/06/2009 16:38

'Just don't see why you have to be so critical.'

i thought she was rather funny myself.

Frasersmum123 · 19/06/2009 16:38

seemed

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 19/06/2009 16:39
