I can't decide whether this is very sad or quite enterprising. A bit of both I think.

What did amaze me is that a medical professional endorsed her virginity at a press conference!

story here - warning, it's in the DM!

Can't believe this thread is still going on.

I go away for a couple of days and...

Have we learned anything yet?

Oh we fell down the rabbit hole a few pages ago MP. Really, if you can't take the piss out of yourself, you have nothing. But to takle the piss and be taken serioulsy...well that's a dilemma.

The stereotype of the humourless feminist has beehad quite enough of an airing.

Glad you have been watching Custy and SM

morningpaper · 14/05/2009 22:37

SO, can we vote now: cock or no-cock?

scottishmummy · 14/05/2009 22:38

nah!the squelch of indignant snorting and skelp happy slapping was still showing up on my threads

haven't enjoyed at all

wanktastic as you all squabble

c'mon the sisterhood

scottishmummy · 14/05/2009 22:38

yes MP you are all cocks.now play nicely

mrsruffallo · 14/05/2009 22:39

cock for sure
Tackling piss must be difficult

morningpaper · 14/05/2009 22:40

at squelching

sorry about that SM

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 14/05/2009 22:40

tried takling - got wet

mrsruffallo · 14/05/2009 22:43

Maybe that was the squelching that stained SM's threads

Tortington · 14/05/2009 22:44

not sure i understand the question MP.

i think we should deconstruct the construction of the ideology that is that question, as you have clearly shown that you have little understanding of thw subject matter

firstly are you asking if stewie has a cock or not?

or are you asking this of vittoria?

if indeed the latter then i shall ask MNHQ for a squirm emoticon on your behalf.

or

are you asking a general question regarding belief systems - are you asking whether we ask women think that cock is better than no cock?

or are you asking whether the subject of the op should have indeed opted for cock or not?

morningpaper · 14/05/2009 22:46

I don't know custardo, I think I'd like to ask ALL of those questions but we are all exhausted from the snorting and squelching and tackling piss.

scottishmummy · 14/05/2009 22:47

to clarify my threads are neither stained nor strained by all you who da cock sleuths.

I would agree with you dittany

extra points for innovative adjective

morningpaper · 14/05/2009 22:51

would a cock sleuth be a cocksniffer? I think we discussed that earlier in the week...

MANATEEequineOHARA · 14/05/2009 22:53

haha, I felt silly typing snort too! But could think of nothing better to say than the truth. Don't make me defend my right to be a manatee on MN etc, I find it very hard in this HUMAN dominated world as it is

SGS, I do see what you mean RE the lack of feminist definition,
BUT why should everything have to fall into a pre-determined category. I like to hope my opinions are totally unique to me and only draw upon others briefly. It would be sad to say with THIS kind of feminsim we would say this girl was exploited and with THIS kind, we would say she was empowered, and with THIS kind we would argue she was exploited by the media, ETC. That kind of thing annoys me, why can't we just debate and have the courage to say that we are saying this because it is what we as individuals believe?!?!? Feminism is such a fluid term it is silly to argue over it (especially as we are all - I think - women).

Winebeforepearls · 14/05/2009 22:53

ah, Victor/Victoria [dim]

scottishmummy · 14/05/2009 22:56

yes tis the fluidity and squelch that has caused my wetboak consternation

a bunch o wimmin arguing and defining femminism, getting snippy over who has accurate terminology, who hasnt or has got a cock

heefeckinlarious.except some of you really mean this stuff

morningpaper · 14/05/2009 22:57

Eh? I thought Vittoria were a chain of wine bars....

but surely you could say that of any political /social movement

communism for instance - not the same in south ameica as in russia or china.. maybe the forms that we have thus seen have ben pants but that doesn't mean as an ideology it is pants.

what you are saying sgm, is ...look here is feminism and it can be whate er yu want it to be, so come on tell me what you think it is, so that i can argue with you and show you that it actually can change and cover your political/social ideology.

i think that feminism as an ideology is divisive to the social and political cause of the people. whilst we have splinter ideologies that look after the special interests of certain groups within society, gender, sexuality, race etc... is a great divide and conquer tool, becuase whilst everyone is in their little groups thinking of their concerns with regards to gender, race etc...it is a barrier to comming together as a people, which sadly we don't do anymore and mass protest hasn't changed anything since the poll tax - which is really really sad.

we are a nation of individualistic navel gazers and i think ideologies based on the part of a people rather than the whole peoples is divisive.

what is really sad is that the limit of peoples knowledge on the subject mean that they think as a woman they have to be feminist.

that feminism was right for votes and feminism won all the things we enjoy today as women that we once didnt

and thats not true is it?

Vittoria · 15/05/2009 08:31

I got wet just watching Twilight again! Lordy me!

MP - what are your instincts telling you? Joke or no joke? Please look at teh oroginal wording of my 'confession'.

Vittoria · 15/05/2009 08:38

Stewie, I'm not ignorant of femiisms - in fact here is my Kemp and Squires just to the left, or Imelda Whelehans critical terms of gender studies to tmy right. I understand you are looking for a reason as to why I think the way I do, but I can assure you oits not fromignorance of what feminism(s) ideology is.

Litchick · 15/05/2009 08:57

Ah Custy - the old scoialism v feminism argument. It takes me back to my uni days . Litchick grabs her donkey jacket and House Martins LP.
My Dad would have totally agreed with you - that when the poeple are thinking of all the people and acting in their best interests then there is no requirement for smaller sub groups, and they are in fact devisive.
I think the troubl eis I just don't trust men, even left wing men, to pursue the equality of women. I'd like to, really I would, but their track record aint so clever is it?
