The photos of Jade on the cover of todays papers make me feel quite sad, time for the press to step back

She looks very poorly in them.
I hope the press will now leave her alone with her children as from the photos I think her time is slipping away quite fast now.
I think she has achieved what she wanted now, awareness of this terrible illness and a secure financial future for her sons.

Made me think how lucky I am and how fragile life is.

I hope she gets what she needs now.

Because they're using the same photo. Look at the red hospital blanket as well. As far as I can tell, she hasn't been photographed since she left hospital to go home.

And, once again, she doesn't need to ask the papers not to run paparazzi pictures of the children because they're minors. And therefore their faces will be pixelated.

Although I can understand the confusion as Jade has sold pictures of the children to magazines (which then get syndicated to papers) herself, and because she's given permission there wouldn't be a need to pixelate those.

The only way you'd get further children pictures after she dies is if their dad does a celeb magazine deal.

I saw a posed photo of her on the front of OK or Hello or something wearing a hospital gown. I just think that's strange.

Do you think that the team of surgeons and oncologists at the Royal Marsden Hospital who have been treating Jade for the last few months, and the Macmillan Cancer Support who are sending nurses out to nurse her around the clock, are all in on the hoax and are hoping to scam a few grand from the profits Jade makes on all these "staged" performances that OK! are paying her for?...

Do you think that the entire cast in this "performance" will be nominated for an oscar next time around for their convincing performances?

Let's hope neither of you ever have to suffer an agonising and protracted death due to advanced cancer that has metastasised to several of your major organs, or to witness one of your loved ones being forced to endure it, it's really a truly horrible thing to witness. I witness my dad dying in this way 6 years ago and it has stayed with me ever since. Clearly you never have or you wouldn't feel comfortable about being so flippant about it.

I really don't know what it is about this tragic story that has brought so many crass morons crawling out of the woodwork.

FWIW I thought her miscarriage after the Shilpa Shetty affair was a hoax - I'd just had a mc at 12 weeks (same as Jade supposedly had one) and the things she said/supposedly had to do after the mc just didn't ring true. Not that it matters now, poor woman.

Cancer is not an exact science; some fade slowly, some goquickly after a dx. Heck some pelople see a miracle- my cousin wasw given 2eeks tolive, 30 years on his fifth child has just been born.

I don't think anyone would be that sick but even if theywere the presenceof theRoyal Marsden / MCR / presumably MarieCurie should beenough evidence.

I wonder if people like to think it's fake because the thought that someone can be diagnosed with cancer in August and be on death's door 6 months later is just too scary to acknowledge?

my dad was given at least 3 months to live, he died about 10 days later.
to say she is faking it is horrid.
she might be a strange person, but that is just too odd even for her.

Of course it is not faked Fgs what credibility would the hospital staff have if they went along with something like that.
However I do believe that the over exposure and constant coverage of this has led people to make these wild speculative comments.If you make it a circus people will comment good and bad.being on teh cover of OK does invite a certain type of reader.it does need to go away though the time would have been better spent with one short tv broadcast about why earlier testing was vital and then her disappearing with her nearest and dearest to have her last weeks with some dignity IMVHO of course

I am aware that a marriage can be anulled on the basis it wasn't consumated, but that doesn't make it not legal if it isn't, iyswim.

That would be a bit hard to implement! They would have to change the traditional "You may now kissthe bride.." with "you may now....(I cant even say it..."

On a note. A mum I knew had cancer, it was a known fact to everybody in school. One day the rumour was that she had just a couple of weeks to live. When after two weeks she was still alive, people started stupid comments as well, "maybe she was attetion seeking blah blah blah, it is not that bad then if she is not dead yet" truely revolting stuff. She passed away eventually a few days out of the prognosis. I think it is vile to go as far as counting the days to someone's death as a confirmation that they really are dying!

I am quite sure her little boys are not in such a hurry to let her go.

Again, this is the media doing the countdown to her death. Everyday we get a running commentary on the latest horrible ailment associted with her cancer.
I was paticularly pissed off when I walking towards the kiosk paying for petrol, seeing the headline from The Sun 'Jade's going....' I thought the last word would say 'Home' but no it said 'Blind'.
It's this orgey of such detail that I find disturbing. Now how is this information helping anyone?

My uncle was given six months to live at his diagnosis of a rare form of mouth cancer. He survived for eighteen months. Whilst his death was in a sense "overdue" my mother (a retired oncology nurse) was actually shocked because she had seen him the day he died and she said he really didn't look like someone with hours to live. God knows she had seen enough people in that state to know.

I made the very same point about the pornographic extent of detail, tiredsville, on another thread (but that thread was rightly pulled by the look of things as it contained a personal attack on 2 posters in the OP). I completely agree with you. Even the bloody Daily Telegraph has a "Jade" topic along its home page navigation. It's ridiculous.

So a baby bump can't be faked? Who has a baby bump at 12 weeks PG anyway? Couldn't it be just a few too many pies or if you stand a certain way?

I don't know if she faked her mc but it was convenient that she got PG just after celeb big brother (the news 'leaked' when she was 7w PG - I immediately thought 'that's convenient that she is not 12w yet') and then lo and behold a few weeks later she had a mc, but didn't have to be admitted to hospital (I had to have D&C at same stage).

Sorry, I work for a celeb mag so maybe I am just being cynical.

Can I ask - where is the evidence of the papers counting down her death? I just looked in the Daily Mirror and there's a small peice on page 11 but that's it.

nnenitz not follwed your argument but re miscarriage I have had 3 and only been admitted to hospital as day case for d+c once, not all mcs mean a trip ti hospital my first sat 17 the gp told me to go home and rest, no scans for retained product just yes you are miscarrying go home

The worst thing is Richard Desmond (at OK) must be praying for her to die so his OK doesn't look like a complete joke. He has failed there no matter when she dies .
