Hi, to make it easier for people who are finding this subject very distressing, we're going to keep all Baby P posts in one thread. If you'd like to discuss this subject, then here is the thread to do so. We'll go on the other threads and link to this one. Thanks very much.

Bump

mygreatauntgriselda · 30/01/2009 09:22

New Look bump!!

LadyArden · 15/02/2009 15:18

shameless bump on behalf of mygreatauntgriselda, who is doing a tribute sponsored swim on 17th March, with monies going direct to the NSPCC.

Last time I looked she had raised £200, now it's £929.50 (!) with a goal of £2,000. I know lots of MNs already donate to NSPCC and other charities but if anyone is interested then the link is really easy and quick to use.

My God......that doesn't even bear thinking about.

What kind of world are we living in when evil scum like that get more protection then an innocent child

Hey angry shouting woman! Assuming that the jury isn't mumsnetting right now it might just slip them by.
I think most people with half a brain already realise why these people have remained unidentified.
Have a cup of tea and calm down love

So what's your answer to the problem ? Of course this is serious but if the info is in the public domain then you can't stop it being disseminated.

Giving the mother a new identity at the tax payer's expense is to protect her

thisisyesterday · 26/04/2009 20:38

agree with longtailjosie

enough of the car crash threads please? you go on and on about this but are happy to jeopardise it by keep doing it?

mamadiva · 27/04/2009 07:39

Oops have just realised what I did in my post sorry just gets to me at times!

I do (believe it or not) understand why they should remain unidentified now but after the court case I think they should be left as they are then people will know not to leave their kids near this kind of scum! How many more innocent people will they harm?

Although I do believe that maybe just maybe I have that little bit of hope that the 'mother' has somehow realised the true extent of the damage she has done to all of her children, that would be the worst punishment she could recieve living with the guilt that she has most likely destroyed her childrens chance at a normal life and she allowed Baby P (I hate saying that seems so undignified) to go through unbelievable torture.

I think she should have to live in the big bad world with herself and everyone ese knowing exactly who she is, I don't think their should be reprisals just looks would be enough to destroy someone like her if she felt any guilt what so ever.

The other 2 should be locked up for a LONG time becasue I genuinely think that they somehow manipulated the mother into letting them away with it, not that that excuses her any normal person would get away to protect their own, but sadly we do live in a world where some people can be manipulated to a great extent!

Anyway I will stop bleatng now just thought I would somehow try and put some sense in rather than the angry knee jerk post I gave before.

skydancer1 · 30/04/2009 23:28

I think Mumsnet should have let me know me why my post was deleted. I was just asking what happened with the trial supposedly happening in March about the baby P case and if anyone had any further news...I wasn't writing anything offensive with that, surely?

Please read this post before posting

The boyfriend of Baby P's mother has been found guilty of raping a two year old girl.

This girl, as a rape victim, has her identity protected. The media will not identify who she is.

Neither should you, for her sake. There has been a lot of speculation on the internet, but please try to remember the reason why rape victims are granted anonymity.

I have reported the post above
