Will WW3 really happen?

Do you honestly think ww3 will happen? Will it be nuclear? Obviously we don't know for sure but what do you think..

I think englands very different to how it was in ww2. Is there anyone actually willing to fight for the country anymore? Most the men I know say there's nothing worth fighting for!

Do you think the US president will try and make as much of a shit show for trump to have to deal with as possible? It seems that way from the news but of course you can't always believe the news either.

Nothing would surprise me and after January even less would surprise me (a new US President then).
For me it would not be too bad, I'm 77, I've had a good life, I live 30 miles from Coulport which must be one of the first places that would be hit. I'd be dead in a few seconds of a nuclear war starting.
My children and grandson are who worry me, they still have their lives to live. We all need to do all we can to stop this maddness

It's a very scary time for sure. Before being pregnant, I really wasn't too bothered. Now I'm worried more than ever for my unborn baby's future. We live about 1hr30 from any major city's but that doesn't help the anxiety at all as we'd just have a slow death instead!!

There's ones I could find from a few months ago but not recent, since trump will be president in January have people's views changed..it seems to have put a huge spur on all of this war stuff and it's blown up again. Hence the new thread.

Read an article which said Russia are always causing trouble and starting wars - we have had a break for 20 years - so now this is just back to normality!

I think it's a bit off that this is always used to shut people down. It's a discussion forum and this is something people are genuinely anxious about. Of course there are going to be multiple threads along similar lines. Just let people say what they want to say and scroll past if you don't like it.

I'm concerned about that too! The question is what can I do really to stop it? Nothing. It's nice to see if people share the same worries so we don't feel so alone. The government don't give a shit about the people .. nor what little me has to say

I do not think Europe will go to war. Ukraine and Russia will sign a settlement and start re- building the chaos left behind. I think this year or early next year. There has never been any other option. They are just dragging it for no good reason.

No. The world has moved on and war is so different now. I'd be more concerned about cyber attacks.

It will at some point. It wouldn't take a lot. Hopefully not in the next few years though.
