Will WW3 really happen?

Do you honestly think ww3 will happen? Will it be nuclear? Obviously we don't know for sure but what do you think..

I think englands very different to how it was in ww2. Is there anyone actually willing to fight for the country anymore? Most the men I know say there's nothing worth fighting for!

Do you think the US president will try and make as much of a shit show for trump to have to deal with as possible? It seems that way from the news but of course you can't always believe the news either.

Well I think it's inevitable that at some point humans will destroy the vast majority of "civilisation" through war - probably fighting over resources.
Hopefully if it's a nuclear one I'll die in the impact. Has anyone seen Threads? The 80s film based in Sheffield when there's a nuclear war? Grim.

Nah I’m not worried. Sure it could easily happen but what’s the point in worrying about it? We’ve had it good for so long and it’s been on the cards over many years. I’ve no power over it, so just pleased to wake up another day in my peaceful safe life.

If we were attacked I’d do everything to defend my country and freedom. The WW2 vets were hero’s who risked their life for our freedom. Never forgotten that and plenty of us would do the same again. Wouldn’t be worth living if enslaved by mad dictators. You’d be surprised just how many people feel the same.

I think I would volunteer to fight if necessary to protect our country and our freedom. I don't have a partner or children and my life is very meh....however, I would need someone trustworthy to take my cat and look after him and give him a lot of love.

Not the case at all. I try to steer away from the news that swears blind it's going to happen the very next day, everyday. Yes I'm scared..but I would like to know what people actually think not just what the news say who are known to scaremonger. Just like they swore Covid would be like the plague yet I don't know 1 person who died from Covid personally, but I was very scared and thought we'd be dying left right and centre because the news said so. It's interesting to me to know what people think - I don't think it will be a nuclear war at all and nor do I think everyone will be running to fight for this country how people did in ww2. I wouldn't anyway. Btw that doesn't mean I think people wasn't incredibly brave and I'm very thankful they went to fight for our freedom.

Despite not thinking there will be a nuclear war, I do think cyber attacks are very possible which is also a scary thought in itself!

the reason they call it a nuclear detterant is right now putin has multiple nuclear warheads aimed at Russia. If he every pressed the we would know immediately, within seconds, and press back. We may all die, but Russia would be wiped out two seconds later. The missiles would cross paths in the sky.

his and his commanders all know this. Pressing the button would end Russia. It would be an own goal as well as ending where ever he aimed.

It's not illegal to claim asylum nor is it illegal to enter the country in a small boat.

Asylum seekers are around 3% of immigrants coming to our overcrowded island. The rest are students or workers filling vacancies.
