Do you honestly think ww3 will happen? Will it be nuclear? Obviously we don't know for sure but what do you think..

I think englands very different to how it was in ww2. Is there anyone actually willing to fight for the country anymore? Most the men I know say there's nothing worth fighting for!

Do you think the US president will try and make as much of a shit show for trump to have to deal with as possible? It seems that way from the news but of course you can't always believe the news either.

Are you scared? I'm petrified!

There is no obligation to…. Well that’s handy, and would explain a lot. The Refugee Convention then is faulty and has allowed for lives to be lost and exploited due to financial greed.

OP go out to Ukraine, or Gaza, and then you'd know what petrified really is.

honestly, stop catastrophising, come off social media where all the nutters reside, stop reading threads that are probably made up by ChatGPT and recognise how lucky we are in UK with freedom of democracy. You'll do nothing by worrying yourself into a frenzy and overthinking everything.

It won't be fought like WW2. No Dunkirk, no "we will fight them on the beaches." It will likely be localised missile strikes in countries where invasions happen and cyber terrorism.

Is there actually anyone willing to fight for the county anymore

Sadly the country has probably never been less united. Not in the last few hundred years anyway. And patriotism is seen as a dirty word unless it refers directly to sport. Most ppl under 60 probably don’t feel a lot of loyalty to it now as the focus on how shitty GB is with colonialism etc is always in the media. Ironically altho USA has horrendous racial history, far more recent and current than U.K, and the country is divided politically, there is and always has been a very strong sense of overall national pride so there would presumably be many volunteers percentage-wise. Same with any other countries. Apart from Germany and the lasting guilt over WW2, the U.K. seems unique in its distaste for itself. Not in all quarters but many. Who knows.

edited for typo

Simply, no. If Putin goes even more off the rails Xi Jinping will stop him, else who can they sell all their crap to?

China wasn't holding back yesterday. They said they'd be ready for any kind of war the US was going to bring. Trade war, actual war...they're ready.

So that was at least clear.
