Manhunt ongoing.

A lot of bad news in the last couple of days.

Just a thought, but perhaps the man transporting the cases has been forced to do it against his will and deliberately chose somewhere very public, as a sort of cry for help? Maybe he was desperate to get out of the gang so wanted to get caught so he’d be ‘safe.’ It just all seems so odd.

Willmafrockfit · 13/07/2024 09:26

yes it isnt the best job is it, transporting the cases,

An autopsy is under way to determine if the body parts are connected to those found in Bristol or are new killings.

My question is how did Mosquera travel from London to Bristol if blood was seen to be leaking from one the cases on the suspension bridge?

Defrosted perhaps?

Yeah I was thinking frozen

RoseAndRose · 13/07/2024 09:38

I think the questions of HOW did he get to Bristol and WHY did he choose to go there, have been running throughout this thread,

Police might have answers to the first by now. Plus what might have led to the murders (as they believe they know who the victims were and that they all knew each other).

Willmafrockfit · 13/07/2024 09:56

amazing detective work/forensics

post mortem

Post mortem and autopsy are essentially the same thing.

Willmafrockfit · 13/07/2024 10:12

i know but autopsy is american

just me being pedantic,
apologies

Why would he chose to go back by train? Surely you'd pick the Mega Bus or National Express, something a bit more low key.

And sure you’d take a train in a station that isn’t so popular as temple meads

placemats · 13/07/2024 10:34

The arrest was uneventful which indicates that the suspect didn't resist arrest.

No it's good to know that autopsy is US. Thanks for explaining that.

Willmafrockfit · 13/07/2024 10:38

perhaps he felt the train was less conspicuous than a coach/bus

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 13/07/2024 10:49

I don't understand why he was still even in Bristol.

I also don't understand why he thought it was a good idea to try and get on a train in Bristol - where literally everyone would have been on the lookout for him.

It's all very weird.

Bristol train station is pretty busy. The Mega bus leaves really early in the morning, and (last time I caught it) wasn't even from a bus station so pretty easy to hide away from the masses.

Bearybasket · 13/07/2024 11:19

On a coach you have interact directly with the driver to get on.
You can get on a train without having to speak to or interact with anyone.
I don’t think he could have got out of Bristol on any kind of public transport without getting spotted though given that a very clear photo of his face has been all over the news and social media

Choux · 13/07/2024 11:43

Perhaps the two dead men are from Bristol and were in Shepherds Bush to see the murderer as that is his home. So, after the murders, to throw police off he wanted the bodies to be found in Bristol so it would look like a local crime. Not knowing the city he picked the suspension bridge not realizing about the CCTV and high barriers.

He was arrested at Temple Meads in the early hours. But that doesn't mean he was going to try and catch a train. He may have been sleeping rough outside the station while he tried to figure out what to do next.

Normallynumb · 13/07/2024 11:52

My first thought if it is gang related, they're not exactly criminal masterminds are they? Temple Meads!

That's very true.

kalisimera · 13/07/2024 12:22

BBC and Guardian reporting that the arrested man at Temple Meads was a 34 yr old man but other media, eg. Bristol News reporting 24 yr old man. Earlier reports said the suspect was age 24. Bit confusing.

CatOnAStarCloud · 13/07/2024 12:25

Gooselady · 13/07/2024 06:58

I'm surprised he is only 24, I thought the man in the photo looks much older.

Drugs, alcohol and malnutrition can do that. And stress. Reckon I'd be stressed disposing of bodies!

@PreesHeath never underestimate how thick some people are

The normal pictures of this bloke make me sad - so young and cheerful looking. What a waste of a life.☹️
