Absolutely shocking. A 26 year old man named as Kyle Clifford, believed to be armed with a crossbow, is being sought by police.
The dead women are aged 61, 28 and 25.

Yes, three women have lost their lives because of a man! There will obviously be some animosity towards men because a man did this.

This is utterly shocking and yet so devastatingly unsurprising. Those poor, poor women, they must have been terrified, the poor mother seeing her daughters be killed. Fucking men, because whilst it may not be all men, it is always fucking men.

When three women are dead at the hands of another violent man, the most important thing is not #BeKind to men.

What is it about some men that they can’t take, or refuse to accept, normal rejection? Getting dumped sucks but you wallow in your feelings for a few months and get over it. You don’t decide to murder your ex, her mother and her sister. Such a pathetic little ego, such gross violence.

@TooMuchRedMaybe I feel no animosity towards 'men'. I feel hatred toward the evil man who has done this and huge sympathy to the man who has lost his loved ones. They are both men. Both individuals.

@FatmanandKnobbin it isn't my main concern, don't speak for me. My main concern is the poor man who has lost his loved ones and their friends and family. And of course the victims, that goes without saying. But I'm not angry towards all men. I'm angry at him.

The murder of poor Carol Hunt and her daughters has just shown us that it’s not even enough to be sure your own husband/father/son in “safe”, you also need to be wary/scared of your children’s partners. Terrifying and heartbreaking.

Of course. I think we all knew that immediately because it always is. I hope he is locked up for the rest of his life. I also hope that he hadn't been reported to the police already for threatening behaviour, but I wouldn't be surprised.

We are talking about 3 (more) murdered women.

But this isn't an isolated one off incident. Men murder and abuse women to a much, much greater extent than women do to men. I don't hate every man either, and I don't hate the husband and father of the murdered women, but as a group I think they are pretty despicable. The statistics will tell you that. I also feel very much sorry for a mother who had to watch her daughters get murdered and get murdered herself, my first thought wasn't poor man who has lost his family.

It’s an utterly horrific crime and my thoughts are first and foremost with the victims. I know Carol has been named but I’m not aware if her daughters’ names have been confirmed so don’t want to get them wrong.

My thoughts and prayers are also with John Hunt and his other daughter. I work in racing and while I’ve never met him, right now on the racing tv channels and within the racing community there is a massive outpouring of love and support for a man who is liked and respected across the sport.

It’s so horrific. Those poor women and what they went through. I also can’t imagine what their father and husband is going through just now.

Crossbows need to be banned or licensed or something. We’re just going to get more and more stories of murders with them.
